Decided to stop on way back home from Crystal Mt and one of the best decision I've made. The "Trail mix" blew me away, but I've come back for steak, chicken and their amazing sausages. This place is amazing! They give veteran discounts, are always smiling and everyone is trying to help you. They will point out deals if you don't see them and everyone's a local which helps when you see people from out of town looking for something. They know food and recipes instead of just meats. The array of different kinds of beef pepperoni is amazing. There one of the few butcher shops that has delicious beef bacon from the slab. I can't get enough of this place. read more

The kalbi chicken thighs are our new fav. Honestly everything there is pretty good. They have bulk bags off chicken and ground beef for reasonable but the chicken breasts are usually ginormous and a bit tough. My husband and his family were all about Stewart's until the first trip for pepperoni, then they were sold on Blue Max. Always have a ton of guys behind the counter ready to grab meat for you and started carrying some groceries. They are a little pricier than a grocery store for the produce, but nice to have if you want to avoid a drive to Bonney Lake. Will be 5 stars when they get to a place that allows them to butcher outside game and livestock. read more

I was suggested to go and check out Blue Max Meats bye several people... So I decided to go check it out. when I asked if their sausage links and pepperonis were gluten free the very helpful young man behind the counter went to the back and asked... The guy in the back came out laughing as if it was a joke and being gluten free is ridiculous... Unfortunately it is not a choice for me and eating gluten makes me deathly ill and over time would kill me.. so needless to say I will not be returning.... Not a great first impression....t you shouldn't laugh at your customers.... read more

Wow. Just wow. The selection and quality that Blue Mac Meats has is amazing. Great customer service. I've driven past this place many times and always wanted to stop. Glad we did this time, it will definitely be our regular stop especially this summer for grilling and jerky for road tripping. I can't wait to try more things. I needed thick cut beef short ribs for braising & this was the only place I could find them (they also call them Caveman Ribs). Everyone else cuts then Korean style (Blue Max does too). I did not have a good experience here. I stopped in to pick up some ground beef, about 10 minutes till closing. I was totally ignored! There was one guy helping someone, and 2 other guys cleaning. No one said hello or acknowledged I was standing there. I know they saw me, we made eye contact. After standing there for 5 minutes, I left and got my beef at QFC. read more

I'm giving this meat market A1 yes their meat is good but!! But they do not own up to their mistakes My husband and I were there on Monday and we bought three little articles that came up the $7.99we got charged 17.99.my husband went back and they said that they reversed it back to our account . Which they did but then they turned around and charged us another $10 which grand total they owed us $20.. So my husband went back in there and they said it was a bank error !! So keep an eye on your bank statements because they like to double dip I will not do any more business with this meat company I will go to Stewart's meet!!! And still waiting for our refund they are fighting with our bank!!! read more

Absolutely incredible! Awesome jerky selection I bought a Safeway filet and one from blue max meats, cooked them the same way, and the difference is astounding . The Safeway filet tasted so odd and honestly gross next to the bmm one we just through it in the trash. There is an world of a difference between the cuts you get from bmm and that ole garbage you get at the grocery store. read more

Just left from visiting for the first time. We found it exciting all the different options of meats they have. The employees were friendly, helpful & happy to help & answer questions. (I hate it when someone working their job treats you like you're bothering them). They were nice about letting us try the jerkys. Love this place!! But i wish they had grab a number. Because it get's crazy inside! If your going to get a pack, call and make your order. It takes them a little time to put together! And i love that they are 15 min away from house! Next thing im trying is the jerkey! Great butchers! Went in looking for Brisket and was given great service, great advice, and an amazing cut of meat. Blue max meats is situated on 410 hey in buckley, in its own little area. When we walk in, be prepared, because it is a glorious L shaped meat counter with everything your little carnivore heart desires! We were welcomed in with friendly greetings and we walked around until we were finally ready to pick our meats! They have a giant array of jerkys as well as trail mix, a mix of meats and cheeses for snacking on. One of the employees came over and helped us with our order, my wife order a lb of teriyaki beef jerky, which was to die for, and I inquired about the brisket. I needed a 5-6 lb Brisket and was told the price difference of them trying it or if I just bought a whole Brisket. He did find a 7 lb Brisket but again I only needed 5-6 so he trimmed it down. While we were waiting, I checked out the rest of the meats. I know I will be spending a ton of money there from now on, because they had the best looking steaks I have seen in a while. They also had these apple pie stuffed pork chops that looked delicious! Up on their chalkboards, you could buy meat packages that have an array of meats. As well as all different types of bbq sauce, hot sauces, and other knick knacks. I absolutely love that all the guys wear bowties! Definitely worth the drive! read more

I have been a loyal Blue Max customer since I lived in Puyallup. I was excited when they opened a shop up here so it's more convenient to get my favorites. I was in there yesterday with my 10 week old son to get some stuff. We received the normal great service but in addition to that the guy carried my purchase out to my car and opened the door so I could get my baby in faster and easier. I call that above and beyond great service! My absolute favorite butcher for life! Always great quality meats from great people. read more
