Their wild game meat processing is delicious! Top-shelf and highly recommend. They even do Landjaeger's!! (Amazing flavor!) First found out about Lind's at the Pike Place Market. Have been ordering a variety of sausages and smoked cheese for awhile now from them and have never been dissappointed in anything I have received. I love the Landjaeger sausage, it goes on all my work trips as a snack while traveling or a quick bite for lunch. Their customer service is outstanding, orders always processed quickly and never a problem. These folks are doing it right and you won't go wrong trying there products!! read more

Took a deer to be processed and had it ground into Italian sausage and breakfast sausage. We had another deer processed later in the year (when Lind's was full) at another butcher and the sausage doesn't stand close to compare to how good Lind's is. We got the smoked turkey for thanksgiving and it was delicious. Always have too much left overs in past but this turkey was so well smoked throughout we finished it all. That's a first! The dark meat was even more tasty and the breast meat was not dry. I recommend this turkey. We will get it again. read more

I would not be any landjeager from this place. They hire a guy to make it and he does it at his house that isn't even USDA approved he thinks just because he has a business license he can do what he wants. read more

Sent a steer here because my neighbor insisted saying Linds was the best. The burger meat and traditional American cuts were fine, but the short ribs are between 1" to 2 1/2" thick and the carne asada cuts look like they were cut against the grain out of a roast. All this after Mike told me how it was gonna be. Back to my regular butcher (custom meats in Tacoma) who knows non traditional cuts and wants the animal butchered the way I want it butchered. read more

We had our daughter's wedding catered and the food could not have been better! We had a whole roasted hog, smoked chicken and all the trimmings. Their service was fantastic and our guests all raved about how good the food was. Justin was very professional and great to work with. We had some allergy concerns with some guests and they offer enough variety we that we were able to put together a good menu to satisfy most. read more

We brought an entire deer in last year made into Landjaeger, the product was phenomenal. Although very expensive, we thought it was worth it. We were so excited to bring one of our deer in this year to do the same. We drove all the way up to Kent with our deer....probably an $800 order assuming only because last years was about $600 and that deer was smaller. We were treated so awful by the owner, he said that the deer was too dirty. We would never bring a dirty deer in to be butchered. We take complete pride in processing our animals. He flat out didn't want to take our deer because he was too busy doing turkeys for Thanksgiving and we were an inconvenience. But then again he charges a $60 cleaning fee, what's the point of that then? We would've paid extra if he had said it would cost more to clean it. Which would've been outrageous in our case. I would not recommend Lind's meat to anyone due to the terrible service and disrespect. read more

Sent a friend there with a deer that was shot four days earlier and hung in a cool garage in December. He called and said they refused the deer- that it was too old and covered in mold and rotten. They asked him if he wanted it thrown away. I told him to bring it back to me. I butchered myself. Not one speck of mold. No rot. Meat was in perfect condition and we have been eating it ever since. Not sure what kind of scam these guys are running. read more

I called with a request for a large amount of fresh liver to be used for a medical training procedure. They told me I could have as much as I wanted AND they donated it to me. When I went in to pick it up they were in the process of cutting up what looked to be the nicest ribs I have ever seen. They were super nice and friendly and even though they were busy they didn't rush me. I found out they cater and am excited to use them for my next function. This is definitely a place I will go to get meat in the future and if I am lucky enough to catch some live game I will be bringing it to them to butcher. Thanks guys!!! read more

Was out and about and googled a butcher shop, were big on fresh jerky and saw this place was open . At first we thought in town but then the drive their is a country road with homes. Found the place tucked in the corner, walked in an were greeted immediately, we got 1lb of jerky two flavors . Evenly priced for good meat. It was great to get a tour of the place and then got to know that the meat has no preservatives. Thats awesome considering were big on this when it comes to foods we eat.. we will definetly be back and were definetly telling our friends and family! read more

Just picked up a pack of spicy landjager at the Issaquah Farmers Market today and it ended up being moldy. What is the worst part is I ate 2 pieces before I figured it out. It was partially frozen and the girl pulled it out of a ice chest, so I did not see the mold until later after the ice had melted - disgusting. read more

Went to purchase some steaks, we wanted rib eye all they had was sirloin. They claim the meat was grain fed but it was horrible, did I mention the meet was frozen in seal a meal bags? We have ordered a smoked turkey for years, which by the why is the best bird in Washington! I wanted to give them a shout out because they work hard, provide quality and work with people day in and out. As I like to say "sometimes your the dog, sometimes your the hydrant." My wife and I purchased a side of grass fed beef and a spring pig. Both are DISGUSTING. In general: 1. The butchering was done by a 5 year-old. The cuts were incorrect, sloppy and in sizes way too large for menu planning. 2. The fat and gristle left on the cuts was enough to ruin ones appetite even before you cooked it. 3. Whenever bone was cut, they left bone chips and marrow on the meat. Really? Are you that lazy and sloppy? 4. We understood and accepted that the grass fed beef would have somewhat of a "gamy" taste. That was literally a GROSS understatement. Our cow must have been raised near a sewage treatment plant. Mostly the fat on the beef contained most of the nasty flavor. Yuk. 5. The butcher was so lazy that they didn't bother to take off any...., and I mean any of the silver skin from the pork or beef. Did I say lazy? On many cuts, the silver skin crossed right down the middle of the meat and basically ruined the shape. 6. The hamburger needed a life raft when it was cooked in a pan. Between the fat and the water, it died a second time from drowning. They claimed it was "low fat". NOT. 7. The meat was wrapped in plastic wrap the then butcher paper. Nearly every piece of wrapped meat has blood or tissue on the outside of the paper. Not exactly sanitary. 8. We all know that there are different degrees of quality of meat. Prime, Choice, Select and Standard. You will not find standard cuts in a grocery store. At Lind's, that's all you will get Their meat cuts and quality is not fit for you table or ours. Don't let their "nice guy" demeanor fool you. In summary, they have a LOUSY PRODUCT. We'll not ever go back. If you expect quality and clean meat like you from a grocery store...., go to the store. read more

We have been raising Angus for 20+ years and have been using Lind's for the farm slaughter, cut/wrap for at least the last 12+ years of this. Not a lot of these guys in the business anymore that care what they are doing. Lind's does this with quality and knowledge. My wife and I used to go to the shop and wrap our own product while Mike and team made the cuts. Unfortunately don't have as much time as in the past to do this because we actually enjoyed that part. Now the team does the whole process for us and does a first rate job. We occasionally sell a side of our beef through them and they have always made the process easy and good for us. Appreciate the entire team there and hopefully they are around for as long as we continue to raise our own meat. Enjoy read more

Buyer beware!!! This place has lousy customer service and will treat paying customers poorly. My brother in law and I watched them mix our perfectly cared for and dressed out venison with "other" venison then deny it to our faces. Take your well cared for game elsewhere. read more
