Blue Moon Relax Spa is located in a large center with its own large free parking lot. The signs advertising the prices were so good and succeeded in enticing me in. The man at the front desk assured me that walk-ins are welcome and that they have an availability at the time. I was unceremoniously escorted into a room and the lady who walked in quickly ordered me to take off my clothes and waited while I did so. Lotion was vigorously scrubbed all over my body very roughly for almost an hour before she finally told me I was done. I felt like a dirty floor that has been now scrubbed clean. I very much regret that the RARE free 1 hour I had was not spent in a relaxing massage and did not result in my shoulder muscles being unknotted. read more

Candy runs the place, her English is good and she is accommodating. She will match you with the right masseuse based on your individual needs and likes. The place has been renovated, very clean, and has a very ambient atmosphere. We've spent hundreds at Burke Williams and had a mixed bag of different types of pricy massages, from exceptional to mediocre. Seemed clean. Felt relaxing. And all in all was amazingly inexpensive at $20/hour + tip. We were thrilled. Last week I came home angry and dismayed. I took my son there for a foot massage to help him end a difficult week at school as a high school Senior. We entered and it immediately felt different. We arrived at 8PM and were the only customers there. Three ladies were sitting in the reception area and they immediately got into an argument about who would help the two of us. It was loud and uncomfortable. It only got worse from there. Our therapists chattered loudly together throughout the massage, took multiple cell phone calls at our chair side ,(and massaged with one hand or stopped completely), took a smoking break when emptying our foot bath water and came back reeking of smoke, and left the room to yell at the receptionist over other business calls taking place thought the time we were there. It was not relaxing. It felt like we were keeping them from something or someone else more important. At the end I tipped our therapists each only $5 and they scoffed.
