I had a combination Thai massage for 60 minutes. My massage therapist was Paris. The massage was wonderful. She listened intently to which areas needed more or less pressure. I came in stiff and sore plus I'm sensitive to hard pressure. Paris was still able to work out knots with minimal pressure. I walked out feeling loose and relaxed. The facility is clean and has a fresh inviting scent. Parking is limited but during slow hours you can park in the front or back lot. read more

Although my feet were completely forgotten in the massage. ‍ also another reason for the decreased rating is it was mid afternoon and about half way into my massage there was loud, almost yelling. I wonder how accurate these reviews are!! The worst massage I've ever had! I get massages twice a week, so I'm very familiar with proper technique. I specifically requested a Thai massage both when booking and again with the therapist before we started. Instead, I received a Swedish massage. I told "may" (my technician) my hips were tight and needed attention, yet she didn't work on them at all. Midway through, I reminded her that I had asked for Thai, not Swedish, and asked her to apply more pressure. She made no effort to adjust. After my session I called back to speak with the owner, all I got was, "I'm sorry, we'll try to give you someone better next time." That's not acceptable. I feel ripped off. It's gonna be our new regular place we go to. It's hard to find a new massage place with good people that know what they're doing. Usually you'll get someone that rubs you dry and make you itchy the first half and then try to stretch you past your resistance the second part. Our appt was at 3, I had Leo and my wife had a female. They were BOTH lovely! Leo did techniques that were new to me but actually felt really good. I was honestly a little nervous because of my ptsd from other places but it turns out he really pays attention to what you need. His technique is different so maybe that's why it didn't hurt, I just felt release. My body is filled with inflammation from prior injuries and military accident, and I'm allergic to all NSAIDs, so days like today, I feel really locked up and stiff. Leo helped me immensely! I wish I wasn't going out of town for work so soon, I'd come back this week for another massage. I'd recommend this place to everyone ! My neck was feeling so bad that I was getting constant headaches from it. I went here on a whim because the pain was too much and thankfully I was able to book a reservation the same day. The place is very tidy and smells nice. Pam was my masseuse and she was absolutely wonderful. I asked if we could do a 30 minute deep tissue massage focusing on my neck and shoulders, and she absolutely killed it. Long overdue review, I always ask for Eve. She's the greatest, takes time to work on my shoulders and neck. Deep tissue massage is a fine line between pain and pleasure. Nina is such a character and her hands are magical. She has plenty of personality and makes you feel comfortable in her capable hands. Her spot is a massage spa, essentially, located in a little corner of a small plaza on Ventura in Encino. Parking isn't great, but you can also take your chances with metered street parking. A Thai massage is the norm here. If you haven't had a Thai massage, they get up close and personal with you. It's a deep, deep massage that can involve walking on your back, elbows in your knots, and major relief and some soreness at the end and next day. Tipping well is strongly encouraged in this industry, and Nina honestly deserves her kudos for the work she does. There are others here, but I haven't tried them out. read more

I came in on my lunch break since I work nearby. I CrossFit 6x a week and barely mobilize so I know getting a massage is good for me. We did the Open workout in the morning - which is REALLY heavy deadlifts for me and my back was feeling it. Plus work has been stressing me out so I need to GTFO the office. I decided to stroll in here and see if anyone was available. $50/hr for a deep tissue massage. Not bad. I'm a freelancer so I'm always broke AF, but I decided to splurge. Jill gave me the massage and she was really sweet and pretty strong! She walked me through everything before she would perform anything on me. When I was done she showed me some stretches I should do for my shoulders and what not. Which is great especially since I tweaked my shoulder a couple months ago. It's better now, but of course preventative is always better. She called me a Strong Lady and told me my Muscles Pop Out. Which is a huge compliment to me! She massaged and loosened a bunch of knots in my shoulders. Thank God! I needed it! I felt so good after, it was hard to go back to work, but my body feels immediately less tense. I am hoping I can make this a regular occurrence while I am employed nearby. With tip it was $65. I wish I could have tipped more, but like I said...freelance ain't fun.
