I have been going to this place for years. My psychiatrist is fabulous as is my therapist. There are some great people here. The problem is Rafai. I saw him exactly one time. He didn't care about anything I said. As a matter of fact he only cares about money. I had a payment plan with them since they didn't take my secondary insurance. They reneged on it. I got a call demanding the entire amount or they simply wouldn't see me again. No meds. No nothing. He is now demanding that NO ONE have any balance. After four years I was treated like a dog. DO NOT GO HERE, unless you can pay everything up front or as of the other day they will cut you off. They have done it to everyone. This is just a fact. I put up with a LOT over the years for my therapist and psychiatrist (NOT RAFAI) but just won't do it now. BEWARE. As others have said he ONLY cares about money. As an aside, they do take medicare but not medicaid, just fyi. The billing department generally knows NOTHING. They tell you to wait a month to see what you will owe. They did that to me for MONTHS until my copay got so high it was ridiculous. They didn't even send me a bill. They had my address wrong and switched with another patient. When I called to see if they took my new secondary insurance I got the reply "I'm not gonna stand here and tell you all the insurances we take!!" Do yourself a favor. DON'T go here. read more

Please listen to all of these reviews. I thought they were just disgruntled clients, but every one is accurate to my experience. Dr Rafi is not at all up to date or educated in eating disorders, ED treatment, or haes. Hes a pill pusher. The front desk is impossible to get a hold of. My pharmacy and I both tried for a week with no answer. I just found a new dr through LVHN and Blue Mountian Psyciatry was apparently a common name they hear with new patients who've had bad experiences. Listen, this is life or death. Please do not go here if you're looking for a Dr who cares. My husband suffers from bipolar disorder and we finally thought we found someone who could help us. Dr Rafai had us do the expensive Gene Sight test which gave us no additional information. He started my husband on Ketamine treatments and deep TMS which caused him to become manic, agitated and aggressive which is behavior he has never shown. Rather than working with him and getting him stable he was "released" as a patient and was cut off from their services for no reason. Now we are left scrambling to find new providers that will take him on as a patient. This practice needs some serious help. They do not return phone calls, they will schedule appointments and then not tell you, then charge you $250 for the missed appointment. Your messages will not get returned either. The staff discusses patients issues where the entire waiting room can hear. If you like patient privacy, don't go here. Bottom line, I feel as if they've broken my husband. He is a nonfunctioning human at this point. His anxiety and depression have yet to lift and now he is constantly anxious and agitated. In 25 years together I have never seen him such a mess. Please do not believe their lies, they will bill you for expensive tests and treatments. This Dr. is only concerned about making money, he is taking advantage of extremely desperate people who are looking for relief from their crippling mental health issues. I wish we had never gone to Dr, Rafai, I am not sure if my "real" husband will ever return. They broke him to the point where he may never be "normal" or functioning again. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

This place deserves no more than 1 star. I've been battling mental health since a young age, have seem various psychiatrists, and this practice has to be by far the worst one I've ever been to. The main psychiatrist there is money hungry and pushes treatments and tests on patients, without reasoning and profits from all of the tests (been told by inside staff). Ive had more than 3 of his workers tell me that he is cold in his approach, detaches himself from clients, profiting off of patients. It's really a shame that a doctor in PSYCHIATRY can profit off the most vulnerable. Having sensitivities to medication it is important for me to tell the doctor when I am having side effects. Upon calling the doctor for an appointment he brushes it off and tells me to stop taking the medication abruptly, mind you this medication can give horrendous side effects if stopped with a high dosage. I was left depressed and helpless due to this doctors recommendation, and had severe side effects that almost left me in inpatient. The worst part of this place? They cancel appointments and make you unaware until you show up and no one is there. This has happened a total of 3 times to me and no apologies whatsoever. To add, they've charged me on multiple occasions for no shows when in fact I didn't have an appointment. Best part, the wait time is always a hour or longer. Last time I was there I saw a female patient in physical emotional distress because she was waiting for 2 hours and have been neglected care prior. Being on the other side of things, and now seeing an ethical psychiatrist in the valley, I can say that there is much better care elsewhere in Easton. Please whatever you do stay away! I went to see Dr Rafai at my therapist recommendation last year. February 2021. He did an expensive Genesite test, HE didn't keep his telehealth appointment with me to explain those results. Never a return phone call. Can't get an office manager to call back. They are sending me to a collections agency for a $45 copay charge on a visit that the DR DIDN'T KEEP. Not me. I was there. HE DIDN'T SHOW UP and they are billing me for it. I'm reporting to the BBB and I"m contacting my insurance company and reporting this fraud. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS MONEY HUNGRY MAN. And office staff? This is a very very poorly run business. The entire office should be fired and competent staff hired. read more

Healing Minds?? More like emptying pockets! This drug dealer uses smoke and mirrors to bolster false promises of healing. This is the true definition of cruel. This charlatan never even followed up with me after 30+ treatments. Yes, that depression scale...useless. Just another tool they use to give you false hope. They could care less about the outcome as long as they get paid. If you do end up going there, make sure you call them out on their surreptitious billing practices too. They will never bill you and harass you until you are in it for thousands of dollars. Caveat Emptor. This is no joke. Steer clear of this hack if you really want to be healthy in mind, body and spirit. They will abuse it all without a care in the world. WHERE TO BEGIN?! Have to call from a different number before anyone picks up the phone. Office staff argues loud enough for patients in the waiting room to hear. They also talk super loudly about patients after they leave the office...disclosing names and why the patient needed to be seen. I was finishing up my appointment and the last office member was closing so I couldn't pay or make an appointment. The psychiatrist is also awful and unprofessional. Which is how I would describe this office. Would give 0 stars if I could. read more

I found this practice recently for my daughter, age 18, and my son, age 12. The entire staff is caring and very competent. Finding this practice has made such a positive impact on our children's lives. You may have to wait for an appointment, because there are a lot of children who need help with anxiety and depression, but it so worth the wait. read more
