I couldn't be there to pick them up myself, so my wife picked up the mats in our Prius. I sort of neglected to tell her how big these were before she went there, we're talking the big 1 meter mats, and she had our daughter in the backseat and a friend on the front seat. Mike helped her load the car and even though it took ages, he was friendly and positive the whole time and insistent that they could get everything loaded in. Great success! These guys were great. We just ordered more mats and the thickness ranged from 38mm - 55mm, which meant we could not properly lay them out without having huge steps. They also differed in thickness across a mat. Too dangerous and a liability! Once we told them that and wanted replacement mats, communication was nearly non-existing from their end. We had to chase them down for any information. They picked up the bad mats delivered and promised new ones, which never happened. Then we requested a refund, and lost almost $200 for the shipping, which was not refunded. Overall, and expensive attempt to buy their product, which has poor quality and the situation was poorly handled. Stay away from them.

He then brought it back to my house the next morning, all before business hours. I was not contacted for over 2 weeks, during which I contacted the shop 3 times and was told each time that I will be contacted back by the mechanic who knew what was happening with the bike. When I was finally contacted 2 weeks later, I was told that work was completed and I was hit with a bill for over $1000. The shop had organised for both of my shocks to be serviced without me agreeing to the work. When I picked up the bike, I advised how disappointed I was and the staff apologetically advised that I will be contacted the next day to discuss what can be done about this. It has been over a week since then and I have not been contacted. I am extremely disappointed and I've lost confidence in 99 Bikes.

We have purchased two bikes from them and received superior customer service both times. I recently broke the front brakes on my bike and took it back for repair. It was done promptly at no charge and I got a tune up as well. My husband bought a road bike and was professionally fitted at no extra cost. He got into an accident and totaled the bike, got a quote from them after they meticulously inspected all the damage done. We were able to get a replacement bike from our insurance but when my husband got it, he felt there was something wrong so we took it to the shop for a tune up. They immediately noticed 2 wrong things done in the bike assembly and fixed it up for us way way below cost. The owner Charles even took it upon himself to inquire with Trek as to how the replacement was sourced and built as the build quality was really shoddy and could've caused another accident if it hadn't been fixed. Some of the other shops I've been to (and I've been to shops from Parramatta to the Inner West to the North Shore) had quite a few shop assistants who seemed to have very limited knowledge about bicycles or the components and accessories they have on offer. Here in Trek, everyone knows what they're talking about and you can trust that they wouldn't give you any dodgy advice just so they can sell their product. Even though it is a bit of a drive (and hefty toll fees) for us to get here, it is well worth it for the kind of service you get from this shop.
