The place was clean and the rooms were private. Seating area looked very nice. I really enjoyed my foot rub but I did find the shoulder massage was mediocre. I don't think the therapist was targeting the right spots. Perhaps getting one of the other staff might have been better. Other than that, it was a good price.

My first impression is that this is the most legit spa I've seen in Chinatown so far. Even their business card says "accept insurance" on it so someone there must have a RMT license and adhere to the rules enough to keep their license. The other thing that gave me a more elevated impression about Blue Sky is that they have some expensive looking gear in there. Not that I know what it's for but it looks impressive. Now that I've tried reflexology, I'm hooked on that and find it relaxing and a great way to get in the mood for a massage. It helps to be in the right mood for a massage to be effective. If it takes a half hour into the massage to get that way, then that's less time for the massage to do the most good. I had a smartly-dressed more mature woman named Lucy take care of me, and she told me to try and sleep or relax with the reflexology and turned the lights right down to pretty dark which was great and worked a treat. Since they tend to massage up your calves it's almost a good idea to take your pants off, or wear light sweatpants so they aren't fighting their way down during the reflexology. Next the massage and her technique was quite impressive. She wasn't a large person but amazingly strong and could boss my body around without a problem. I appreciated how she could grab a leg or other part and shake it like you sometimes want to shake sense into someone (but can't) and in this case my body needed some sense shaken into it, so wow I'll be considering Lucy as my go-to for the best value in Chinatown massage done right! I didn't see it on the sign in the room, but at the desk they listed a 90-min massage as an option, which would be awesome especially coupled with another 30-min of reflexology beforehand. Have been going here several times with different masseuse and enjoy most of their massages. Definitely a relaxing experience and they end up giving you a sweet camomille tea as you pay. Appointments can be booked online and you will need a credit card to confirm your reservation. I opted for a 75min deep tissue massage. Day of massage, I was a bit skeptical at first due to the storefront of the massage place. They are located on the 2nd floor where you do have to take off your shoes upon entering. Never judge a book by its cover because as soon as I entered I was greeted by Nitchapatr who ushered me into a massage room. She gave me some hand sanitizer to use and left me alone to change out of my clothes. During the full body deep tissue massage Nitchapatr worked on some deep knots I had in my shoulder the most. She made sure that I was comfortable with the pressure throughout but knew that I was feeling some pain from my shoulder knots. She even offered to put Tiger Balm on me to make sure I was more comfortable. After the massage I quickly put back on my clothes and went out to pay. I was offered some Thai tea. Nitchapatr and I made small talk and she commented that I should likely come back for more treatments as my shoulder knots were quite deep. My body definitely felt the effects of the deep tissue massage. I felt tired afterwards but did feel great and had a good night of rest. Overall, great massage place, they definitely know their stuff and will treat whatever pain you are experiencing. Service was friendly and I did see that before and after my massage there were other people receiving services as well.

Given some bottled water and told that we can advise our spa technician for different pressures if we needed to. Overall service was fantastic We booked reflexology and our feet felt fantastic after. They have a weekday special running from 12 PM to 5 PM an hour long reflexology for $60. My husband who mind you never likes to go out and do these types of things said that he definitely will be coming back to do the weekday special. Can't wait to see you guys soon!
