I was looking for a new local dentist and responded to a mailer I received at home. The discounted first visit with X-rays and cleaning went very well. The hygienist Fatima was very professional and had an excellent chairside manner. I was examined by Dr. Davide Gottardi who was very professional and provided necessary explanations for the condition of my teeth. I followed up with Dr. Gottardi for a revision of a crown whereby the base of the tooth had a cavity. The photography that was used was very influential for me to see first hand the problem with this particular tooth. I followed up to have the issue resolved and to replace the crown that had been in place for 15 years. The entire procedure went well and there was no pain during the procedure. The new crown was delivered within two weeks and the temp crown served me well in the interim. The new crown was fitted using all necessary care and caution. Minor adjustments were made to my full satisfaction. Martha the Dental Assistant was also skilled and pleasant at various stages in the process. Leann, at the front desk was equally efficient, cheerful and helpful at all visits and during phone calls. Definitely a 10/10 experience! read more

We all know the worst part about going to the dentist is the numbing shots they give us before working on our teeth. Well I found a dentist who's so skilled in giving these shots that I barely felt it! This is the first time EVER for me to have no pain from a dental shot. Dr. Davide Gottardi is the dentist I'm referring to. Not only is he very handsome and nice, he's a true artist when it comes to your teeth. People, don't count on Ratings and Reviews. Those can be wrong. I was a Patient before when Dr. Martínez was the Dentist. The price with Insurance was good, Dr. Martínez was a good Dentist. Then Dr. Gottardi bought the Office from Dr. Martínez who retired in Puerto Rico. They kept Martha and Melanie as the old stuff. So far so good. When Dr. Gottardi took over, renamed "Andrews Dental Care" to "Blue Palm Dentistry" then it became very expensive with or without Insurance. Ok, they did a good job to renovating the Office. Now each Room has a different Color from Yellow to Pink. They also invested in new Equipment. So far so good. But I got ripped off when my Insurance was out of 1500$ allowance. They charged me for a Root Canal around 700 Dollars. I paid it. Then my tooth hearts and I complained. So back there. They took another x-ray and the Dr. Told me nothing is wrong and prescribed me Antibiotics the second time. They charged me another 170 Dollars just for that . I changed my Dentist now. My new better with Laser better Technology from Boca didn't even charge me a penny for my first visit and cleaning and x-rays. My deep cleaning was 25$ I had to pay. I have 2 normal cleanings free from my insurance. Zero costs, but the Office from Dr. Gottardi charged me around 75$ each time for a normal cleaning with insurance and not out of deductible ftom 1500$ allowances for a year. They are ripping you off. Be aware. Never paid for a Root Canal around 700$ even my insurance was not paying, I always got a discount. My husband got a root canal for 125$ with insurance and a crown for 450$ with insurance and not over 1500$. They offered him when he is getting to 1500$ to get a Root Canal, maybe the next one he needed for 400$. I paid 700!!! read more

I agree with some of the other reviews dealing with insurance. I signed an estimate that did not include the xrays because they were supposedly covered as part of the benefit. Apparently they did not check that I had had some within the plan year. I paid my portion of almost $1,000 for some fillings and then had to pay an extra $250 because the exam was not covered . I challenged but eventually paid. They fixed a filling that came out and Dr told me to call with any other issues. A second filling came out and made an appointment but put on hold. Martha, the office manager, came on the phone and reminded me of the prior issues and asked if I still wanted to see the Dr because i was not really welcome there anymore. Of course I said, who else would she expect to fix the problem that should be under warranty. I was told that I needed to pay for everything up front even if it was a repair. I would also have to pay for an exam to figure out why the filling came off. As expected, the conversation got heated and I asked to speak to the Dr. He was going to call back but never did. When I called back, it went to VM. Even though Dr was very nice, his staff is rude and horrible to deal with. Also, if two filling came out, well that speaks for the work itself. read more

Just moved to South Florida and found this dentistry practice here on Yelp with very good reviews. They did not disappoint. Very friendly bunch of individuals, they made me feel very welcomed. Dr. Gottardi leading the bunch. He also spent a generous amount of time explaining some recommendations he had and there were no surprises at the end with my charges. My insurance covered what I expected and the OOP expenses were what they quoted. The hygienist did a great job cleaning my teeth too. Highly recommend them. read more

Review: Bad Dentist all around. Once I told him I was going to get the majority of my dental work done in Los Algodones, Mexico, he wasn't interested in making several thousand dollars for a root canal or anything as a temporary fix for my issue. Which means he's only in it for the money. I didn't ask for work for free, but he's obviously greedy and wants all the work including at least 4 implants---30k in the U.S. (6k in Mexico) or none of it. So he opts for none. And then wants to argue about how put out he is.....awwwww. Just plain greedy, unethical and underscores the reason people are sprinting to other countries for dental and medical work. read more

The office is actually pretty huge and very clean. Much cleaner and more welcoming than other office I've been to and even my current orthodontist. Dr. Riley is kind and she makes you feel as comfortable as you can considering LOL. The other staff is friendly and helpful.
