House is a lovely oceanfront 7 bedrooms, 7 & 1/2 bath home in excellent condition. Great outdoor space which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Upholstery furniture in the 1st & 2nd floor family rooms are heavily soiled & stained. Spoke with realty company about having the furniture cleaned but to no avail. After three calls, I never received a follow up call stating next steps. The 1st floor furniture was so soiled that we used sheets to cover it since we were so embarrassed for family & friends to see how stained it was. The cleanliness of the home was horrific. In light of the Covid pandemic, it was obvious the property is not being thoroughly cleaned after check-out. It was by far the dirtiest, dustiest property we have ever stayed in. Dust was noticeable throughout the entire house, furnishings, baseboards, air vents, etc. The kitchen vent hood & kitchen blinds were greasy & grimy. Food crumbs were found on the kitchen counters. Cobb webs were visible throughout the house especially on ceiling lights & fans. Master bed mattress cover, bedspread & pillows were stained. Hair was found in the master bed & in bathrooms. Master bath shower door track was extremely dirty. Purchased the linen package which included sheets for each bed & 2 towel sets per person for the total number of people that the house accommodates. Because of the quality of the linens, highly recommend bringing your own sheets, towels, bed spread or blankets. Notified realty company of the issues noted above and they sent housekeeping out to clean the property. One person from Housekeeping came 2 hours late on 10/25/2021 to address the cleaning concerns. She staying ~2 hours and attempted to clean the house. She explained what I wanted was a deep cleaning which in my opinion, is basic housekeeping services. While she was cleaning, she was left unattended and unzip our luggage in the master bedroom. Luckily, I thought to put away valuables, cash, prior to her arrival. Needless to say, my husband and I ultimately ended up thoroughly cleaning the house, blinds, baseboards and etc. I was so disappointed to spend a full day and a half cleaning on vacation. Definitely was not we expected on a fairly costly vacation.

The decor is comfy and casual. The front porch is a lovely spot for morning coffee and the back yard gazebo with fountain is the perfect spot for a glass of wine in the evening. The beach was a short bike ride away, bikes provided by the cottage. I absolutely recommend this B&B and I would return myself in a heart beat.

My husband and I stumbled across Rosewood while looking for a way to celebrate our anniversary and set off some fireworks in our relationship. Thank goodness we found Gary. Driving up to a dimly lit paradise at sunset, greeted by a glass of wine and a wonderful ray of sunshine, Donna, was a good start. We were exhausted and hadn't been having a good week. The mood changed instantly when arriving. The atmosphere is flawless. You feel at home, except better. The house is breathtaking. Gary, the owner, is a brilliant and accommodating host. His attention to detail pulls together the whole experience. Not only is it a remarkable home to begin with, but the way it has been dressed is the key. You can have a beautiful home and a lot of money...and still have no taste. Gary has impeccable taste. Now when it comes to his precious antiques, an outstanding collection of marvelous artwork and to top it all off, he's a gourmet chef... it's safe to say he knows what he's doing. He's also a walking encyclopedia. Our stay was extended due to car trouble. Thank you, Jesus. Gary continued to accommodate us by letting us stay two more unexpected nights, and helped us find a mechanic. He cooked multiple breathtaking meals, that we are still craving. He actually changed breakfast for us in our home. Guests now ask us where we got all these amazing ideas. We of course say "Gary." After a day of great conversation, and lounging by the pool, we would go to sleep in the most comfortable bed my husband and I have ever slept in. Every night we would say "something has got to happen... it can't all be perfect." The following evening Gary and Donna made us an exquisite anniversary dinner. Finally, I said "it's all perfect." Around every corner is a surprise, and a pleasant one at that. There's always something new to learn or a story to be heard. My family and I are already planning a summer trip to go visit Dr. Chef and Miss Donna. While I did take several photos, they aren't photos I would post. You need to go see for yourself how truly magnetic and affluent a weekend away can be. I would rather drive hours out of my way to stay here, than at any hotel. On a scale of one to ten, Rosewood Manor is a strong one billion.

The gentleman running the place was quite attentive, provided beverages of choice during the evening reception and checked on us to provide refills. The breakfast was done perfectly and was available for a range of time to enjoy whenever and where ever without a formal must sit with other guests at a set time scenario. We arrived and we booked a room that ended up not fitting a rolling bed so they upgraded us and gave us a discount which was so nice! If feels like your living in grandmas house. They have a snack area with chips and drinks your can grab all day since there are not convenient stores around. The breakfast was the absolute best! Made to order.
