Spent countless hours researching solar, panel types, placement, vendors, and Return on Investment…read more After interviewing numerous vendors chose Doug's team who provided the best quality products at the right price on a 10 kW system. Their lead installer Steve and his crew were meticulous in their attention to detail and quality and illustrates their passion for the industry. Extremely satisfied with my system and looking forward to charging our electric cars via the sun! Check out the system: https://enlighten.enphaseenergy.com/pv/public_systems/VHKv1444344/overview

Deceptive business practices!! A couple of years into solar…read morepanel ownership. Here's some things they don't tell you when they sell you a system for $25,000. Your warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on. Whenever there is an issue with your system, you will get a notification that tells you there's an issue, but doesn't tell you what the issue is, that requires a technicians visits which is $180 I recently had a panel that is under performing, which, after a technicians visit deemed to be a manufacturers defect. So my kick ass warranty should cover this right? Wrong! The manufacturer will replace the panel, but I'll have to pay for shipping, which is approximately as much as a brand new panel would cost. Also, I have to pay for a technician to install the replacement panel. So when the sales person sells you peace of mind that the warranty will cover you - don't believe a word of it. I have long recommended solar panels to my friends. I have also long recommended not going near this chop shop enterprise. They are Temu version of what a solar company should be. Project management is a joke. See my earlier review for that debacle. Product support is an even bigger joke. I wish I could give zero stars.

They decided to refund my $1800 for removal and not pursue working with me since their service could not "meet my satisfaction." Expecting a response within a week is reasonable for any active business this size. If you read the review of others here you will conclude that I am not the only customer who has experienced lagged and/poor communication. I suggest you improve your support workflow in order to thrive in this industry. In the few hours that have gone by, I was able to get a quote and schedule service with another local company. Original Review Do not rely on this company for good customer service from the operations end, good communication or follow-up. They require you to pay an invoice before any work is done. However, when it comes time to schedule the service no matter how many messages you leave or emails you send, don't expect to hear back from them. Research and find another company (if you need work done expeditiously)!

My solar purchase and installation took well over 6 months in 2024. Although I purchased my panels…read morein June, they were not installed until the end of October. After the first winter I had some concerns about loose shingles and called. A service answered and took a message and it took weeks before I heard back, months before anyone came out to look. While I am happy with the solar system, a year and a half in I believe I may need more panels (I wanted to purchase more panels). So I reached out to CertaSun - they still have a service answering the phone and taking messages. Over a week later, I still haven't heard back. Their communication, responsiveness and customer service is disappointing. For the amount of $$ these systems cost, I expected better service.

If you're looking for a roofer - start with Tom's company Presidential Roofing…read more I found Presidential Roofing via Yelp and was definitely tops on my list for roofing companies due to the stupendous reviews. After having experienced the service and detail of this company - I'm completely convinced they are trustworthy, offer value and a good experience and should get a call for every roofing project. I've been considering a reroof for seven years as I knew my roof would need replacement along with skylights and gutters eventually, so I've read up about all there is about roofs and skylights and gutters. Tom arrived, and did a detailed assessment on top of the roof, and provided good feedback on my concerns. He noticed several things on his assessment and offered additional options on them including various ventilation ideas. I asked him about my siding as well - he thought my siding did not need replacement so we did not quote that out. He said that his crew would strictly be outside for the project and would not need to enter the home for any reason (even though we were doing an attic fan install, and skylight replacement). About 2 days later, I received a quote via email, and we chatted more about the details - particularly about my sky light replacements and the merits of different types of roof ventilation. Being my first quote, I thought the quote was definitely a good quote (verified later after four more quotes that I received - same shingles, harder sell job from others, and some did not even climb the roof at all). After all my quotes came in, I went with Presidential Roofing - scheduled for two weeks later Roof would take 2 days, Gutters half day. The week of the job - I received a note from Tom on the particular details of the week. Don't keep the car in the driveway or in garage, as they'll deliver and use the driveway for the materials/haul away for three days. Materials were lifted onto roof off a flat-bed truck crane Tuesday afternoon. Tom advised that the skylight replacement would create some interior dust/debris (so I used some painter cloth tarps/plastic covers taped to the ceiling). They left a small dumpster trailer (swept really clean btw) off to the side of the house (wooden planks so no tire treads in grass). Each day they would clean up around the home, and would do a magnet roller to catch any nails that would have fallen around the home. The project was done exactly on time as scheduled. They started at 7-7:30am - 6pm each day for the roof. The crew was great - they were friendly, detailed, and Tom called a few days later to ask about the roof. The final invoice arrived by mail the following week (no surprises - very close to the quote), when I had the payment ready - Tom dropped by to fetch.
