    Old roof

I can't say enough nice things about Presidential Roofing. Found them via Yelp after getting multiple other quotes from other roofers. The owner Tom came out to do an initial evaluation and gave me a very straightforward quote. I initially wanted to do gutters only and he told me I was better off waiting until I was ready to do the roof also. So I waited a year and then went back to get a renewed quote. Tom honored the pricing on the original quote, even though it was a year later, was very honest with me about what I did and did not need (even recommending not adding certain improvements because it didn't work for my roof instead of charging me for things I didn't need). Communication was excellent the entire time (he kept me updated, his crew came when he said they would), the price was very affordable, and the quality of the roof and gutters was great. If you're still deciding, stop looking and go for it!

    Before

Tom and his crew are outstanding. We had our roof replaced as well as gutters, and it looks amazing (before and after included). We had looked at a number of different companies, but Presidential Roofing provided the best value and service. Tom gave an honest quote and was great at communicating through the process, working around our schedule. The day after our roof was scheduled to be replaced there was rain forecasted, but the crew managed to get the old roof tore off and replaced by the end of the day, doing a thorough job to make sure everything was sealed. They will make sure whatever they do is sealed at the end of the work day. They also did a great job cleaning up and left things better than they arrived. Our new gutters look great as well, they did a great job installing those and they work much better than our old ones. All together, they really make our house look well cared for. I would highly recommend Presidential Roofing.

What tools your company use to tear off the roof shingles and install them?

We mainly use pitchforks to tear off shingles from the roof and we use air guns to install new shingles with 1 1/4 coil nails.

Scope: New insulation, plywood sheathing, composite siding, soffit, and fascia for back wall. Replaced rim joist, headers, and other structural wood as needed from water damage. Re-installed windows and sliding glass door incorrectly installed by previous contractor. Rebuilt pressure treated wood deck with improved layout. Derrick's attention to detail and pride in his work translated to a solution that addressed all of my goals and helped me understand mistakes made by previous contractors. He spent hours reviewing options and brainstorming with me as more damage was uncovered and the scope had to expand as we went. I'm usually not one to spend time getting a bunch of quotes and just rely on Yelp reviews to make a purchasing decision, but this was pricey enough purchase that i figured I should do my due diligence.' Siding & Windows Group was one of the 4 companies I had come out for a quote. We ended up with them for a few reasons: - Their quote was competitive - They were able to spray paint the interior trim with our existing paint color - They were able to match the exterior trim as closely as possible to our windows outside - Anthony at Siding & Windows Group was very responsive We placed the order on August 22nd, which is my bday. I can't say new doors was what i wanted for my bday, but i guess this is being a homeowner in your 40s. The new doors weren't installed until November 6th and we just hoped for no big storms and got lucky. Anthony checked in a few times on when they'd be installed and pushed it back a few days due to other projects. The actual installation took about a day, which wasn't too bad. A week later they came to spray paint, which honestly seemed like a much bigger project than installing the doors. That took 2 days and went smoothly, although there was a little confusion about them not knowing what color to paint, etc. It turned out beautifully and while the doors look very similar to our old doors I like the look of these even better. The exterior finish isn't a perfect match, but i think a big part of that is our old paint on our windows as faded. One day we'll touch it all up, but for now we're looking forward to a break in paying for anything for the house. I learned there are a lot of companies in the area for new windows/doors, but we were satisfied with this one and would use them again.

They were prepared for bumps in the road as well (weather) and kept in good contact throughout the process and actually listened to us when we had questions or momentary concerns they put us at ease with the information we sought. It's a big purchase, but they made us feel confident in our decision by their actions, and we LOVE how the siding looks, and what it's doing for us since the install (Alside Ascend vinyl). We went ahead and replaced soffit, facia and even had new gutters formed and installed - and not once did they pressure us for those additional items. Just a great experience and we're so glad we went with SWG. Thanks!

We had two condo units in our building update windows as well as two back hallway windows, and Jacob provided a highly competitive quote. He was kind and patient when we waited for other unit owners in the building to decide, and did not push us to move quicker or make a decision when we were not yet ready. Ordering windows took a few weeks and teams on install day moved swiftly and kept the area clean after! I also want to note that we live on the 3rd floor of a condo building and many contractors said they could not install and/or needed additional materials, external infrastructure and costs to do the project, but Jacob made it seamless with bringing windows up the stairs, and doing an internal install, which incurred no extra install costs. This was also great as it did not impact our neighbors and kept the project contained and clean. Jacob really cares about being transparent and has earned our trust, and I would 100% recommend him and his team to anyone looking to install new windows in their home. Overall, we really highly recommend Jacobs 1 Construction! I cannot say enough great things about the quality of their work, competitive pricing, and their dedication to their customers.
