Blue Ribbon Downs in Sallisaw, Oklahoma closed down in 2010. In a nutshell it's history is as follows: Blue Ribbon Downs began in 1963, became the first pari-mutual track in Oklahoma in 1984, and after many changes in ownership closed permanently in 2010. I have fond memories of visiting Blue Ribbon Downs in 1988 when the track was in her heyday. I would have rated her 5 stars back then. :( read more
