Please, please, please see this review before working with this company. Do not look at Google reviews. This company uses deceptive tactics to overcharge you. When I called to schedule, I was led to believe that they carefully track the cleaning staff time and that the final cost for my move-in cleaning service would be based on how long the job took. I was already foolish to work with these people, because they take your credit card information to hold the appointment. Never pay for a service in advance. When I voiced this concern, I was guaranteed that it's just to hold the appointment and nothing would be charged. When the cleaning crew arrived, it was 2 staff. I was expecting 3-4 staff, which is what I'm used to. The staff were professional and did a fine job on the completely empty house, but midway through I was notified that my light fixture shattered spontaneously. Maybe it did, maybe it didn't. The staff left and wrapped up earlier than expected (they arrived over half an hour late too). [[HIGHLIGHT]]I received a text after the staff left from the company asking how my cleaning was going....wait, I thought they track employee time and should know this already.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I checked my email shortly after with an "invoice" and receipt saying that I was already charged $500, PLUS a credit card fee. The invoice was a flat $500 line item. They purposely mislead me to think they track staff time to determine cost for services. It's possible they don't even know how long their staff was there. They never intended to charge me anything but $500. They gather credit card information up-front to charge whatever they want, without having to justify costs. Easily shown from the invoice, they planned to charge me $500, regardless of the number of staff and the number of hours worked. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Best part - when I reached out by email, I was told: "We don't charge by the hour, we charge based on a flat-rate package, regardless of how many hours the cleaning takes. Albertti Cleaning LLC over charged my credit card by $200. They send cleaners to my house for a Move Out Cleaning on 6/29/2024. I have agreed ahead of time to pay $250 to $280 for this cleaning. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After the service, I had repeatedly asked them to send me a receipt which I did not received until 2 months later[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. When I finally received my credit card statement in August, one and half months later, I realized that they have overcharged my credit card by $200 which included a very generous tip that I never approved and they refused to refund back to me. I am updating my review . This is not in any way reflective of the cleaners as they do a wonderful job and are always pleasant when they come to my home. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My issue is with the communication. I was quoted a monthly regular cleaning price and then two months later the price has changed by $40. I asked multiple times when the price changed and didn't get an answer.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After my last cleaning, I was told I would get a $25 Discount of my next cleaning for leaving a review so that is why I posted this review in the first place. Since then I have received another text claiming I can get $25 off of my next two visits. I had them clean my home one month, then tried another company the next month. Today I got a text at 12:17 with them letting me know there were some openings today at 2 pm with special holiday rate. I noticed the rates are way higher than we originally discussed. I responded and asked for clarification and was curious on if the previous pricing was still ok for what I needed as it's not that dirty or big. They mentioned that they would honor the price I was quoted for what I needed but now apparently that is a discounted price. I was also told the pricing is based off of a house 1000sqft+ which the cleaning area of my duplex would be 750-800 sq ft. I was happy they honored my original quote, but they are unable to honor the $25 off my next cleaning or next two cleanings because now I am getting a discount all of a sudden. I don't like to be a Karen about things, but [[HIGHLIGHT]]I feel like their communication could improve and they should honor the promos they are offering people.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I am feeling a little misled and may consider another company now as this is the second time the communication has been off.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I also sent screenshots of everything proving the offers to them multiple times and it was just brushed off. Our house is very large (3,500 square feet), so I didn't think I would be able to afford a house cleaner. But they have extremely reasonable prices, so we decided to give it a try, and now we've been using them for a year and will never go back. I love so many things. One is that they are super accommodating with our schedules. My husband and I both work from home, so we can't have weekday cleanings because we're always in meetings. They were one of the few places that offered Saturday appointments which is perfect for us. When they first started coming, it took a couple of months to get into a routine, but now we have it down perfectly, and since they're used to our house now, they can get in and out in under 90 minutes (for our giant house)! This is really important to us, because we leave the house when they come because we're super covid conscious. We also have dogs that are very protective, so we either take them with us when we leave the house or we crate them in the garage. The Albertti team are super respectful of that, and the don't go into the garage when the dogs are in there. I also really love the communication! They always send a reminder before the cleaning day, which is great because I'm super forgetful, and they always text me when they're done, so we know when it's safe to go back home. On May 27, 2024, Albertti came to my apartment to clean. I would have posted this review sooner, but I have better things to do. Before setting it up, I sent 11 pics of my apartment to 'Miguel' who calls himself the 'customer service person'. The place was pretty clean and not a pig stye. I've attached 3 photos, these are BEFORE pics. Do you see a reason why I should be charged more? They came on time and cleaned for about three hours. I have no issue with the ladies, they did not speak English which makes communication difficult, but they were very nice and worked hard. Miguel and I discussed the price prior. I made it clear in my text message that $200 was all I could afford for a 'general cleaning' for a one-bedroom apartment less than 900 square feet. His response was okay, $180 - 200, then reiterated again with another text in caps $200 - 220 "MAXIMUM". Miguel likes to give you a range, so he can justify charging more later. Don't ever do business with a cleaning company that wants a credit card or signed contract first. That gives them way too much power over your money if you disagree on the quality of service later, or if the company just decides to charge you more. Miguel likes to help himself to other people's money and justifies it with a flimsy 'contract'. The contract has no dollar amount, it says "Price Increases Clients are given advance notice of any price increases. Albertti Cleaning Services reserves the right to raise prices at any time." So, where it says, 'clients are given advance notice'. That IS the advance notice. Once they are in your house, they don't give you a chance to choose, do I want to pay more? Or have cleaners stop cleaning at $200? You just see it on the bill after. I was charged $250, wasn't given a choice. I asked to speak with the owner but was told 'she's not in charge of such things'. The owner oversees everything, and I wonder how much he doesn't tell her...or maybe this is their business practice. How many other people thought they were negotiating a price just to be given a range then overcharged. That's called 'Bait and Switch', and it is illegal. Oh, there's more. While the ladies worked, one broke a dish on display. What happened next is where it gets interesting. Right away they quickly cleaned up the broken dish, put it in a trash bag then took it with them when they left. I sent Miguel a pic of the dish prior to breaking and on the phone his response was "yes there will be compensation..." and text "We will replace your dish, also, please leave the broken item for inspection". I believe the ladies are trained if they break anything, they are instructed to quickly clean up the items then sneakily throw them away. I don't think they know this though, because if the cleaner hadn't come back to ask me where to throw the trash away, I wouldn't have gotten back my 'item for inspection'. That's the whole idea. You can almost hear the snideness in the 'please leave the broken item for inspection' knowing the probability is high that the client didn't realize until later the broken item went right out the door. I sent him a pic of the broken item he probably thought I no longer had, and of course didn't get a response. I tried again the next day but nothing, so I'm now writing this. Don't do business with these people, they have shady business practices. read more

I called Albertti Cleaning on a Monday and asked them to come the next day. They came and were professional, smiling and had compassion for our situation. Kamila (owner) & Matt ( scheduler) do*not* understand or communicate sufficiently in English. I was promised an English speaker on-site every session, yet they sent 2 nice women that didn't or wouldn't communicate in English. I repeated over & over to Kamila & Matt that I required an English speaker on-site. When one nice women they sent called Kamila, Kamila kept repeating to me "What questions do you have for my cleaners?" I repeated I wanted an English speaker on-site, I'm not going to have them or me call you every time something needs to be communicated. Karla responded over & over "What questions do you have for my cleaners?"Matt flipped around back forth texting me for almost 60 minutes to lock a schedule in & I finally gave up. Extremely frustrating to deal with. imo they lied to me & expected me to just let them sneak in non-English speakers. I changed my entire schedule twice to accommodate them & repeated the English requirement over & over. Yet I wasted an hour back & forth, trying to nail down a simple schedule with on-site English speaker it was ridiculous. After an hour of their nonsense I finally gave up. When I hired KamilaAlbertti Cleaning Service I told her I do not pay cash and that she had to claim the income. She assured me that was fine. It was her and her husband. They are very inexperienced and I had to show them how to make a bed and how to clean a bathroom. I asked that they vacuum all the floors, furniture, and pillows each time. My house is never dirty or a mess, NEVER, and I like all the corners cleaned and the wood furniture's nooks and crannies actually cleaned. She said she was fine with that. The first time she cleaned she charged me $500. I was at work but my husband was home at the time. When I got home I was shocked. She used cleaners that dulled my new hardwood floors and they were very expensive imported wood floors. I had to instruct them on how to clean everything. I used her three more times and not one time did she vacuum around the outside of a room or dust the floor boards, or vacuum the sofa's and chairs. She just hit and miss only the middles with a Swiffer on the wood furniture. I tried to work with them and teach them. But they just didn't understand. They do not know how to clean properly. Four times I asked for her TIN and address so I could send her a 1099. She refused to provide me with the information and said it was personal even though I made it clear that she had to claim the income. I had to let her go. read more
