Delivery went smooth and the delivery driver was very friendly and professional. I was happy with my purchase until I started filling my raised beds and scattering my lawn with the soil and noticed it was filled with large rocks and debris, I even found multiple pieces of plastic and old cigarette packages. The soil is absolute GARBAGE and ruined my spring lawn overseeing and raised bed filling plans. I now have rocks scattered throughout my yard and my raised beds are rocky and overrun with weeds. I contacted the company to work out some sort of resolution and was told that they source their soil from a 3rd party and don't even screen it themselves. The receptionist said I would receive a call back to discuss the poor product but never received one - that was three weeks ago. Learn from my mistake and don't do business with this company. "Shady" Hill is a spot on name for this shady business.

A very nice lady came to us immediately and asked us if we needed help with anything. We said we saw the sign for eggs and she said she'd be right back and proceeded to the back of the store. She was gone for 5 or so minutes only to return with two dozen of very fresh eggs that seemed to have been taken right from the coop. We had two of the eggs that night and they were excellent. $4 for a dozen of fresh eggs ...can't beat it.

Was willing to give them or Tom the owner a 2nd chance this Mother's Day and the attached video is the best way to describe his level of service. For context, I placed 2 orders on May 1st with Tom for a delivery on May 8th. At that time, Tom said he would personally delivery my order on Friday, May 8th. May 8th came and went with no delivery and no calls from Tom to update me on things. I called 2 times on May 8th and got Tom on the phone, he apologized for the delay and assured me he would deliver everything before end of day. Nothing was delivered so called Tom on Saturday, May 9th and I was informed my delivery went to the wrong address. Tom was not too happy that I had the nerve to hold him accountable to his commitment of delivering the order. When he asked what I would like him to do, I said just make this situation right. His response was "I will FUCK YOU UP WHEN I COME OVER, which my wife and son both heard him say. I actually found it funny that his mistake got him so rattled. When he delivery my order, he came with the same temper and had another melt down which thankfully my Ring Camera was able to record. While Tom clearly is a jackass, this video is actually pretty funny. That said, STAY AWAY from Backman Florist and if you see Tom he easier gets rattled and his business is reflection of that.

I would suggest that if you don't know what your doing, and don't understand these are gently worn and used tools,.....you stick to the box stores. Some of the other reviews are just clueless people with clueless comments. I have saved hundreds and found things for jobs I needed right now, as compared with waiting weeks for the internet and insane prices for new taps machine parts etc. And a great selection of hard to find and very expensive specialty tools at really low and great prices. This place is heaven for a do it yourself, or purchasing a tool to own instead of renting. A must stop for any construction / handyman / tool man,...if yo have never been.
