Blue Septic has serviced my property for years and have always been responsive, timely, competitive and friendly.

Blue Septic Tank Services Inc. came to my home to service my septic tank on 11/26/2024. After pumping it out, they made a critical mistake when they put the lid on the tank, which has allowed the ground to sink into the tank. I was not hurt but my leg fell through the hole, after I noticed the area was sinking. They said they would give me a new lid, but I would have to drive to their business, (about 15 miles away) and then install it myself. I told them (Amy) that I cannot dig a hole. She said to get a neighbor to help me. So, for $400, I now have a hole in my backyard that is big enough for a child to fall through and a company that is not willing to correct their negligence. Blue Septic (Amy) said the driver told me the lid was bad, (the lid was replaced in 2019) but he did not. In fact, on my receipt, written by the driver, it says that the lid is "OK". It also says in the drivers handwriting: "Tank in great working order". I suggest that people find a company to service your septic tank, that stands behind their work, because this one certainly does not. I now have to be the one who is proactive and go down to the county courthouse to file a civil lawsuit. I also spent my entire morning filing complaints with the BBB, Department of consumer affairs & the environmental protection agency. After reading some of these comments, (I should have before I hired them) in my opinion, this company should have their license suspended. read more

FYI - if you've EVER used Blue Septic, I cannot stress this enough, chances are they only emptied half your tank when you paid for the full service. I recommend checking on this ASAP (take pics of the before also) - ours just backed up into our home. When I called the owner of Blue Septic, Amy, not only did she not take ANY responsibility for her company, she was extremely disrespectful and then hung up on me, I was still charged $450 to have our tanks emptied even though it was just done 2 years ago (we only have 2 adults and 2 small children that have only been potty trained a year). I say all of this knowing that there is another home on my street with a very similar situation and chances are there are more. read more

I had used Blue septic in the past with good results but they messed up and were very unprofessional the last time. Will never use again.. The guy that came to pump the septic was very nice but it was obvious that he had not much experience and was in a rush to leave.. I had to leave to pick up my son from school for 20 min and he told me not to worry, he would wait for me. When I came back 20 min later, he had already pumped, broken the lid, closed the septic tank that I couldn't see, never used the water hose to rinse and was in the truck ready to go. I stopped him and complained. He told me the office called him and rushed him to another job. I called the office and asked to talk to the owner, Amy, who had spoken to me in the past and she was nice. Instead, they passed me to a horrible rude manager that never apologized and told me to pay and Amy would call me later. I refused to pay until the job was done correctly and the lid fixed. I explained that the guy didn't use water because he said he didn't know where it was.. what the heck? I explained there were solids in the bottom that he didn't pump, as I could see clearly when I asked tthe guy to open the septic because I wanted to inspect the job they were charging me $340 for. The manager had absolutely no customer care skills and he was brushing off my complain and wanting me to pay or he would make sure the guy returned all the content back in the septic. Will never ever use this company again. Stay away from them! read more

As an environmental professional, I've had the good fortune to work with Blue for close to 30 years. They're great about scheduling projects and are super flexible when unforseen issues arise and I have to reschedule. In our industry emergencies DO occur and sometimes and it is not uncommon shuffle things around a bit. Amy always calls ahead if there's a conflict on her end and we work out a satisfactory solution. Scheduled a home septic inspection with this company over a week ago. The lady called me at 2pm Monday, our inspection was to be 9am Tuesday. Although they wanted to charge a crazy amount more than any other company, we wanted to use them since the homeowner used this company for years, and they were familiar with the tank. Received a voicemail from Amy at 2pm, that they needed to reschedule it. We had all of our inspections scheduled for over a week, everyone on the same day and time since it was for a due diligence period, and any questions could also be filtered thru regular inspector that was going to be there. Everything was planned far enough in advance to make sure this all worked out.. I explained to her this wouldn't work to be "rescheduled" since everyone was coming tomorrow, and I was going to be unavailable rest of the week. She claimed that they had to sit on "stand by" since the county was cutting into some pipes, and her most important job was to make sure she was helping the environment and to make sure "sh*t" didn't run into the street on the key. Yes, she actually used those words, went off on a tangent, raising her voice, talking louder and louder and then told me she didn't want to do the work and to find someone else. I'm so glad she did this, apparently she has been working with too much "sh*t" and feels she can treat customers, or potential customers like it. Don't call them, call someone else. As a matter of fact, I called 3 other companies, all who came in several HUNDRED dollars less than them for an inspection, and all who offered to still come out tomorrow. This woman should NOT be allowed on the phone. read more
