But yesterday , my 17 yo daughter brought the bike up there for me, because she accidentally bent the front derailer. Even after she was explaining that it was for her dad, the service person repeatedly told her that there was a ton wrong with the bike (not at all) and the whole bike should be replaced. This is six months after a tune up. From them. Where nothing was ever stated that anything is wrong. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG, I've been riding it constantly, and the jerk salesman tried to take advantage of a couple of kids. It is a $600 bike with a bent derailer, and we were told we should just replace the whole thing? Um. No. I remember when Eddies came to that location, and was happy of their success after 20 some years, even if their prices are ridiculously high. Not so much anymore, sounds like they just want to prey on people for cash, or they only train their staff for commission. I'll never know, as I won't be setting foot in there again. There are a few other family owned bike shops in the area who might actually not be cool with ripping kids off. Shame on you.

After purchasing and having issues with my brand new, $600 bike, I was put in a queue for service that was a week long in the summer during prime cycling time. You'd think after spending over $1,000 (bought my wife a new bike from here too) and immediately having issues, you might get a little quicker action. Told the older, bald gentleman at the counter (who openly mocked Covid-19 at the time and wasn't wearing a mask) what was wrong with my bike in great detail. When I got my bike back, ALL the issues were still present, because that gentlemen wrote simply "Tune up" on the ticket. When I wanted it fixed correctly, I was told it would be put back in the queue again and not ready for another week. Nope...I called Two One Fix instead and just paid for the repairs so that I could keep riding. They came to my door and had me riding again without issue in less than an hour. Love my bike. Disappointed in the service from a local shop that I'd planned on frequenting and recommending to others. Bummer.

Forget helping, he would even let me use his tools dor 2 min in the shop. Not returning. UPDATE. I rode over the bicycle boulevard. They were busy with 8 ppl in line, but were still extremely courteous and quickly installed everything. Service matters. Definitely worth the ride. Disclaimer: I have zero affiliation with bike shops. Just a healthcare worker looking to add biking to my life.

Even with crappy disc brakes and a clicking chain, I rode my new bike 25 miles on this beautiful day.
