When it didn't come, I figured it was a simple mistake because "We promise it will be there by Thursday at 1PM, here's an email with tracking info to prove it!" sounds almost identical to "Yeah, we're really not trying to get this to your house by the time your party starts and we are terrible and we hate you." So I figured I might have just heard them wrong. But, nope, the tracking number backed what I thought I heard. So Saturday morning when it still had not arrived, my wife called them. Did they correct the problem? No. What we heard over the phone was an AS+O employee insinuating that it was somehow our fault it had not been delivered-OUR fault for believing the associate who had apparently just straight up lied to us about the delivery time-, no apology, and news that it would be delivered the following Tuesday (today) between 1-6PM, well after the party and birthday for which we had selected and purchased our gift. So, right now it is 6:30 on Tuesday- the very Tuesday during which it was supposed to have been delivered between 1-6PM. I hope AS+O Cartersville owns a DeLorean, because our item is still not here. UPDATE: The ping pong table arrived an hour after this post. The box was ripped wide open from one side to the other. Clearly the integrity of our package had been compromised. We sent it back. Called AS+O, they again tried to explain how their shipping works to me in a condescending manner instead of making things right. We will never (NEVER!) shop here again. Not even if there's a plague and the only cure is a combination of sporting goods and terrible service. Plague me.

Hours later, I found out they had sold the shoes I already paid for. No explanation, no apology--just a total mess. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. We went here on a Saturday when the weather looked like it was going to hold up, but Georgia weather could be unpredictable and it started pouring cold rain in the middle of our two hour session. The staff told us that we cannot get our money back for the additional time we didn't use, and we also could not get a credit to use for another time. I wasn't very pleased with that, because we cannot predict the weather, and we also cannot allow ourselves to get rained on with cold rain and risk getting sick. So we really had no other option, except to forfeit the additional hour and lose our money.

Going up to the register to check the lady that had originally greeted us on the way in noticed us coming and walked away to sit down in an aisle. So we waited for the other register to clear and the lady seemed nice. The shoebox was broken and she smiled and apologized and I teased her because it was broken we got a discount and we both laughed. She scanned the box and the price was way higher than the sale price. I asked her about the price and she said she would check it for me. I showed her exactly where the shoes came from and she said there was a slight difference in the shoes and they were indeed much more expensive and asked if we really wanted the other pair that was a slight color difference and I said yes, we thought the ones we had were them and asked if we needed the size 10 and I said actually we needed a 91/2 and she looked above the display and found what we were looking for originally. You don't see this kind of customer service hardly anymore. I sincerely thanked her and we left. I wish I had got her name.
