In town visiting family and found this gem on my last day. Next time I visit the area I will definitely plan on spending an afternoon there. Tampa is famous for hand rolled cigars. However as a premium cigar smoker I have my favorites. The hand rolled shops I visited just had their own cigars. One store had them for $8 each and an other $16 a pop. That seems like a steep price for an unknown cigar. My point is that this shop had all the major premium brands. The prices were reasonable given the cost of maintaining a magnificent lounge with plenty of room to spread out in over stuffed chairs and sofas. read more

This is a great, privately owned, "mom & pop" cigar lounge. The owner is great and has always been super helpful! He's provided me with phenomenal service and given me recommendations for different cigars which have now become some of my absolute favorites and "go-to" cigars. If I ever had any questions, he would help me out and provide great recommendations! Blue Smoke is a great place to kick back, smoke a stogie, have a beer, and watch a game! I went here to buy a Smok Novo 4, I purchased the device from Tim the worker there at the time and as I was opening the device I noticed something off so I scanned the QR code and of course the device didn't pop up as authentic or anything. So I asked Tim if he could give me my money back- he said he'll call his manager. Manager literally said no. So I bought a brand new device that's FAKE and they won't give me MY MONEy Back?! It was date night so I thought to myself, "Self, where would your husband like to go?" And wouldn't you know this Cigar bar popped up on Yelp. As one Yelper mentioned it's true, I'm on day two of hair smelling like cigar smoke. But hey, guess what - I was in a cigar bar. There is smoke. It comes with the territory. Moving on, it's in a strip mall that I didn't even know existed, right across from Countryside Mall near Steak 'n Shake. You walk into leather lounge chairs, leather couch area tons of TVs, and a bar which serves wine and beer (and ice cold beer - it was good! And they have quite a few choices of draft beer). They had a whole room of cigars to choose from (obviously I'm not knowledgeable about the cigar part, but my husband was pleased). After enjoying one there, my husband left with a few other cigars for himself and friends. The staff was so pleasant, I mean out of your way polite, welcoming, knowledgeable, quick, helpful etc etc. We enjoyed it was nice to have a cold beer or glass of wine while the hubs gets his cigar on then head across the street to the mall for some dinner. This is the closest cigar lounge to my home, and I never knew it existed until Dunedin's future County Commissioner recommended it to me. Pretty decent size humidor with lots of options for all budgets and taste buds, including flavored stogies for the ladies. No liquor, but plenty of beer and wine to set the mood. Two televisions, plenty of seating and lots of friendly regulars. And unlike most cigar lounges, cigarette smoking is permitted. Some enthusiasts frown on that, but I don't mind. Only issue is the over-worked filtration system. However, the owner did advise that he's replacing it soon, as well as giving the place a makeover. I'm chillin here right now as I laboriously type up this review on my phone, so I'm gonna get back to my smoke. Customer delight: they offer free cedar splits for lighting cigars. Most places charge for them, and that really chaps my ass. read more

I was down in Clearwater on business & after reading the reviews I went to Blue Smoke Cigar. I saw and picked out a few nice smokes they had and had a seat.Someone picked up on my New York accent and started a conversation with me.. The guy said his name was Peter and he seemed pretty creepy so I distanced myself..He kept talking to me and asking me questions about playing cards and why I was still living up in New York City.. he then asked me out of the blue " are you married" ? I said listen buddy, I'm here for a few days on business (and not to be rude I put on my phone and started playing with it) & didn't want to get into an argument with him.. He then told me that he told me that he was a retired NYPD lieutenant. I was about two minutes from leaving the place because this guy was on me like white on rice. He then proceeded to tell me that he owns three condos down in Clearwater ( why,I have no clue).. He then said to me " you know that I'm gay & if I can help you out anyway he would be very discreet about it".. I walk to the door waves of the individual behind the counter and that will never go back to that place. If you do go to this place the individual is about 6 feet tall, bald 275 pounds and should be avoided..Very nice establishment yet one creepy person can destroy everything read more

Love this place! Not only do they have all the popular cigars like Padron , Arturo Fuente but some really good smaller family cigars like Aladino. Very comfortable and friendly place. The back room has big HD Flat screens. Nice selection of craft beers from Cigar City, Funky Buddha and Chimay just to name a few. They also serve domestics and wine. Hung out here on election night as we drank, smoked cigars, and watched the votes trickle in. There was some food laid out that I don't know about, and a patron invited us to some pizza he'd brought in. Very friendly folks, and all seemed to know my hot date since he frequents this place. The taps seemed to be out this night, so we had to drink beer- gasp!- out of a bottle! All was well and I enjoyed the long, hand wringing night. I sat on an overly comfy couch where I had a clear view of CNN, FOX, and Bay News 9. The mostly all male patrons made hilarious, politically incorrect, and inflammatory remarks here and there-it was great! Knocked one star because I'm a neat freak and everything was pretty dusty and messy. Place was cramped not because of people because of junk. Filtration system needs to be increased 3 people inside and place was full of smoke. Humidor was okay. Sticks were a little on the dry side. They need to be a little bit more friendlier too! read more

This is a great local neighborhood cigar bar. The staff go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The ventilation system could use a refresh, but there is a good selection of cigars and plenty of drink options.
