OK cigar selection. Since i am not a local, i would like to see an indication of local selections. I always want to try something new & a locally sourced cigar would be great. That said one of the staff did pop into the humidor & indicated one local maker w/ enough different cigaroptions for each of us to try something we might enjoy. I would also have preferred a whiskey or scotch w/ the cigar. But they had a tap brew i always enjoy. Comfortable chairs. Overall a good rating, but could have been better. read more

Wow, what a find. 1) it's the brightest cigar lounge I've ever been in 2) the fume system is incredible. Most times you go to cigar lounges and the smoke is so heavy your eyes get sore,,,not here. You couldn't even small the smoke 3) to all the ladies, my wife was floored by how clean the bathrooms were 4) decent selection of sticks in the walk-in humidor. Didn't find out till we were ready to leave there was a second smaller humidor on the wall across from the main humidor 4) high end and very comfortable seating, 4) Sell only beer and wine but had a good selection of both. This place is super clean and very tastefully decorated, not a typical dark browns and wood like most man cave cigar lounge look. The owner and his son both very nice people. I will absolutely go back here whenever I come back to Tampa. read more

First met Juan II and Juan III last year just before the Bucs/Cowboys game in Dallas. They were really nice and shared the details around the hurricane and their cigar shop. Juan III shared several of their cigars with me and smoked them on my return to Oklahoma. I promised we would make their shop if we ever made Tampa. Today, we walked in and Juan III greeted us with smiles and hugs. It was just like a family gathering experience. Juan IIi caught us on the rebuilding of their great looking shop/bar, very nice clean and comfortable. I purchased several cigars including a couple like the ones that he originally gave me last year. We grab a couple of nice shirts and got a great picture with Juan IiI before we left. It was the most welcoming experience and we wish them the best. He made a great suggestion for lunch at the Conch Republic Restaurant. Also, I have two flags on the way to add to their bar. read more

Nice spot to have a drink and a cigar. When we first got here, we had a bit of a rough run in with one of their vendors. He was upset that we wanted to look at both the flavored and non flavored options. Then an actual co-owner/employee came over and helped us. He was super nice, kind and helpful. He apologized for the vendors behavior and made it right. The cigar he suggested was great per my husband. The wine was fantastic and they even give you some snacks. Definitely will return when we're back in the area! read more

Great place with good selection of cigars. Friendly place, great selection of cigars that are priced right. Interior is new, clean and comfortable. Owner is well read in cigars and is very Friendly. Conveniently located and nicely appointed (large walk-in humidor and cozy bar) the owners are super friendly and excited for business. Their branded cigars are tasty and they have a wide variety of popular cigars. I only stopped in quickly but will add to the review with photos and more details. I am a tourist but I love smoking cigars, so when I travel I like to find a good local place with great service and fun staff. I found that and more at Goomba's Cigar Lounge. Juan knew everything about all the products in the store. I showed him my normal sticks and some highly regarded ones I have smoked. He took that information and ran with it and got me a selection to choose from. Not only were they in my wheel house they were above my choices. But, the prices were very reasonable and the product was fantastically cared for by him and his father. Juan is, also, a magician and he had some fantastic card tricks to entertain with as well. Ask him to show you. The sports talk was great, the history was fantastic and the locals were amazing and welcoming. I stayed for 5 hours without thinking. I had a rookie cigar smoker with me and Juan found him entry points for each cigar adventure, he was fantastic for even the rookie. Juan cut and lit our cigars and gave us a great time. Some features I found to be fabulous. Goomba's has a relationship with the surrounding food businesses and even has their menus. So when the snacks and the fantastic coffee and drinks are not enough, you can order from the locals and have them delivered to the lounge! I highly recommend this place and think anyone will have a great day of fun. In addition, the ventilation system is over the top! Guests came in to drink the beer and have fun with smokers and the place was clear of smoke. The only thing remaining was the great smell of well-cared-for sticks. If you didn't get it, yet. Make this comfortable, over-the-top service and well-appointed place your new home. read more

Visited 1st time today from DTSP. Juan, the owner, greeted me immediately and advised inside the humidor. Local, independently owned small business. Friendly atmosphere and clean facility. Ladies who drink wine, but don't smoke, will be perfectly comfortable. Fair prices for any location, and especially at the beach. Good experience. Has what you need. Solid choice. read more

Where do I start? Went on a Sunday in mid-summer and the service was AMAZING! I walked in and was immediately greeted at the door by the owner and his wife. He guided me to the humidor and although my cigar of choice was not available at the time, he was able to assist me in choosing a very similar cigar. The owner, his wife, and sons are extremely friendly and humorous. Ultimately, they provided the highest quality of service I have ever experienced in a cigar lounge. This is my new spot! Stopped by Goombah's today after an amazing dinner at Salt Rock Grill. The owner immediately greeted me and we talked through all kinds of sticks in the humidor. He was gracious enough to point me in the direction of a local cigar and also his store brand. Clean, not smoky, plenty of seating and great variety in the humidor.
