I donate here pretty regularly and it's very frustrating. Usually I will e-mail first to make sure they will accept my donation and a lot of times they won't. But over the years I've donated thousands of dollars worth of stuff here. So i came in today with some small items which they generally accept. They took it all except they wouldn't take a couple nice mirrors i brought them because "they might break". I was then given the oh so generous offer of donating a few dollars and they'd throw them away for me. I left there with a really bad taste in my mouth. Again. After years of donating here the fact of the matter is that they are ungrateful. Not what I am after when donating to a charity. read more

I have been shopping at the Evergreen Re-Store for years. I have loved my experiences here over that time. Today was different!! I have never experienced such hostile, rude behavior when trying to donate to charity. I am not sure who the blond 'lady' is who runs the place now but she is an embarrassment to Habitat for Humanity. She wouldn't even discuss chairs I was interested in buying. She just walked away while I was mid-sentence. She made it seem like she was bothered by having to get out of her chair, in the back corner. I really wanted those chairs but I don't think I will be going back to the Evergreen are-Store anytime soon. It is a shame!! RIP Jimmy Carter read more

really nice hometown donation site. Staff are friendly and more than accommodating. I donate a lot of things that possibly could be useful for folks when starting out setting up their household. I also have noticed all of the really nice tools as well as furniture. Many times when I drop by I see some very nice bicycles that would be great for kids as well as their parents. read more

This restore seems to focus much more on big household items (e.g. appliances, tools, hardware) and less on traditional thrifted items (clothes, small necessities.) If you're looking to do a cute day of "thrifting," this probably isn't the location for you. That said, this place is perfect for someone that needs to do some household maintenance. Need to replace a window or a door? They probably have exactly what you're looking for. Need a few pieces of lumber? They'll have it. Heck, I redid my shed's roof exclusively using material from here. As the owner of a fixer-upper, I have saved literally thousands of dollars by stopping here before the hardware store. While they won't always have what you need, they will often enough that it's always worth a stop. read more

CRAZY Pricing! A lot of "Yunky Items," Priced as though it were in were in Good to Excellent Used Condition. Then the lady kept changing the price on an item we'd already on. This used to be a great place to shop, but not anymore. Overpriced Junk! read more

Wow! Huge place, lots of good finds- a little more expensive than eCHo

I will never buy from Habitat for Humanity again. I paid $30 to have them come out and pick up some furniture that I've been using, new hardware pieces and two new lamps, one had a broken shade, which I didn't think was a big deal. I uncovered the furniture right before they were supposed to pick up everything, but it had snowed. They only picked up a door because they said everything else was wet. I went outside, and NOTHING was wet. I feel like they completely scammed me. They basically won't take anything if it's rained or snowed - apparently even if it's not wet. I've had Salvation Army come out in the snow and rain, and take everything. I feel completely used. They clearly don't appreciate your donations, and they only want the money. Don't call these people EVER for pickups. read more

I stopped in at this new location a couple weeks ago during my Christmas shopping (yes, I thrift and gift--and so does my fam) and was slightly disappointed only because it isn't the same as the Blue Sprice thrift store that used to be located off Bryant Drive in Evergreen. The gal up front confirmed that they shifted their focus to the types of items ideal for remodeling a home--and they are a great place to go if you are! Rather than your traditional thrift store goods, this store is primarily salvaged home goods: tons of sinks, appliances, hardware, paint and some couches, furniture and minimal books, framed pictures and lamps. Tons of light fixtures! I saw a brand-new LG fridge with double doors and a sliding drawer freezer, never used, marked at $800! It was also marked SOLD of course. Their selection of stoves and washer/dryers was slim, but outside there was a sea of sinks, cabinets and upstairs there was an amazing four-poster California king bed--also marked sold. I'm not a home owner or renovator--yet. But if I was, I imagine Evergreen would be a good area to check out, especially in this small-scale, hardly crowded Restore. read more

The worst customer service ever!!! Tried to donate a few boxes of excellent floor tile. Their reply, "we only take amounts out 100 square feet or more". Why would I have 100 square feet of extra tile?? The tile that I wanted to donate would have been more than enough to do a small bathroom or mud room. They said the could be bothered by accepting the tile. read more

Even with the 40% off on Tuesdays deal, I just am not a huge fan of this place. I've never found anything that I'd really want to have in my house. Most of the stuff I've found here is on the junkier end. I can't speak for the building materials, but the furniture is only meh. The staff have been helpful and awesome, though. I'll keep checking back, but for now, I just haven't found a thing. read more

I give the blue spruce restore Habitat for Humanity location a five-star. Reason being- this place is very organized very well kept and i have yet to experience neglect when i am searching for an item. The clerk will walk me to the yard or point me in the right direction. Besides utulizing items again or finding new this place offers locals - bargains, plus the satisfaction of economically and evironmentally honoring good value with reuse. Did you know?... their volunteers net a 25%, they offer discount Tuesdays items at 40% off, Wednesday there is a wheel spin discount...add friendly, organized, caring people to the mix and '5' it is. read more

We love this place!! It's always a fun treasure hunt every time we go. The staff is always super friendly!
