There are very, very few beers that I allow myself to but the occasional 6er of - why would I want to commit to that, when there are so so many great craft beers yet to explore?? Less and less of my beer budget goes to Spec's lately, as singles just aren't an option; Total Wine's better on that front, but also a hulking national corporation. Doc's gives me the best of both worlds, local and variety. There's also a really pretty array of booze in specialty/novelty bottles that would make rockin' gifts, and the staff is totally helpful and friendly. .. love it!

They're big on the biggest of brand names. The staff is patient and friendly. The make suggestions, based on what they drink, and the little signs along the aisles on what Margaret the cashier drinks are helpful. The wine selection is okay. The beer selection focuses on the higher end stuff. I think there's cheaper prices next door at HEB if you're looking for Lone Star or Shiner Bock. Twin Liquor's beer selection is more for the harder to find, focusing more on IPAs. They offer all the airline bottles behind the cash register. Parking is easy- it's located out next to a pizza joint and a big HEB. There's a USPS mailbox down the way, which adds to the convenience.

The male employee wasn't concerned, hadn't attempted to locate the product to fulfill the order or make any effort beyond declining the order. As mentioned, it was a gift, a birthday gift, expected to arrive in time for lunch plans. Tomorrow does no good. The employee put the phone receiver down and left me on hold longer than good customer service would dictate. When I called back, no answer. Needless to say I will not be spending money in Twin Liquors and will be sure to spread the word.​ Smh.
