I requested a second weight because I was overweight the first time and the cashier didn't rush me. The value of the service I received was good because when I went back in the cashier took their time with me. The parking lot was decent so no complaints from me. You don't really expect a truck stop in the middle of nowhere out here on the highway, I-77 that is, south of 70, and I guess most don't, as very few people use it for this reason. So this particular truck stop is usually pretty quiet and it's definitely more geared towards truckers than travelers, because that's who uses this road. I'm glad it's here and it helps, even though it's a chain truck stop. So all in all, this is a good truck stop in the middle of nowhere where you wouldn't really expect a truck stop.

i wouldn't really call this a truck stop, it's more of a diner with truck parking. they do have…read moresome pumps, but i wouldn't trust those. the whole place has an 80's horror movie vybe. probably one of the worst truck stops I've stopped at. they close at night & have an outhouse for after hours potty use. there isn't really any typical convenience store items available inside, there's no shelves or anything. like i said, its kind of just a little diner with 4 or so tables. the smallest building i have ever seen open to the public. the bathroom is just a single room, so if you have to poop there's going to be a line of angry locals waiting outside/beating on the door. also the bathroom seems to be directly connected to the kitchen somehow. it's not really a comfortable situation to be in. it's really just a dilapidated shack that people live in above the building. if you are looking for a diner that you can park at, maybe try. if you are looking for a truck stop to do a reset, id look elsewhere. they are probably in violation of several health codes, so idk if i'd eat the food.

Sketchy hotels in the area that aren't worth visiting.
