They will not price match Amazon, even though the difference was only $8. $8 is alot to someone who is underpaid for the Denver market but is not much for an established business in a prime location. I brought it in to just ask about what kind of warranty was available from Bianchi. They immediately took it as a return for store credit. Personally, I'd never do business there. I walked in and their weapon offering was so limited, in such a small place, I had to ask if they had one. Once I did, I was treated so insanely poor. The owner basically insinuated I was an idiot. He went on to say, "He doesn't have time to educate people on weapons and his customers know what they want." I actually found him because he's a Glock dealer. And I'm former military. I don't need an education. I needed a dealer. And this establishment will never be mine. He'll never get my business and I hope Veterans, and Law Enforcement find better alternatives. Also, he's about 20% over-priced on the entire offering. Use Amazon if you want good gear. I found this store on google , I was looking for multiply security supply , such as a glove holster , a extra battery for the Pulse taser ext. I was greeted by a lady at the front door at first she was nice and helpful but after I saw those prices everything everything was over priced , $100.00 for a two pulse cartridges really ? So I was looking for a new pair of handcuffs.. Yesterday went to Neves and walked around for 10+ minutes and NOBODY asked to help me (not the first time)Today I went to Blue Star Police Supply and 2 people helped the second I walked in the door, explained the different types of cuffs, showed me a new gun, sold me a new holster, replaced a flashlight that had an issue where the strobe stopped working AND gave me a new nickname on top of giving me a discount. Most of the product were way overprice. Check online first before u buy anything there. Especially buying electronic, no return policy or they will buy it back as used for less than half of what u paid for, and sale it as new again. Don't buy flashlights here! I purchased the Nitecore MH25GT from this store; the flashlight stoped working after several months and I went back to see what they could do to help me. I was told by the employee behind the counter that they do not warrantee electronic devices. I showed this person the warranty information from Nitecore stating that the authorized dealer is responsible for warranty service, but I was told sorry, you'll have to contact Nitecore, which I did. After weeks of emails back and forth with Nitecore, I received a formal return authorization. I then mailed the flashlight to Nitecore - in China - and got a new one mailed back to me. The process took about two months, and in the end, I finally have my flashlight back but to no thanks to them. Blue Star should have stood behind their product, but they didn't - they didn't help me - and now I take my ongoing business elsewhere. read more

I purchased a used firearm from Blue Star, After questioning the associate about the particular firearm (XDm 40) he assured me that all of their guns are tested at the range quarterly, and that they have never sold a gun that didn't work. Not being an expert I took his word for it and purchased it. A couple days later I had a chance to take it to the range; and to my disappointment it would not fire. I asked the range master to take a look at it, he informed me that there was a problem with the firing pin. I called Blue Star to inform them that I was sold a defective firearm. There answer was "well sir, you bought a used gun so we can't take it back. We can buy it back from you but it would be at a reduced price." They told me that I could send it to the manufacture; but all cost would be out of my pocket. I am very disappointed in Blue Star, I have shopped here previously (not for a firearm) and have recommended many of my co-workers to do so (I do security). This situation has left I sour taste in my mouth, and I probably want be using them for any of my needs nor will I recommend them. With that I said I am not a asshole, and I want sit here and bash all aspects of this establishment; I want to make clear that other than the issue with the firearm I have never had an issue with Blue Star. Like the sang goes "one bad apple ruins the bunch" I will not be purchasing anything from them solely due to the firearm situation; its the principle. I never shopped here because when I called to inquire about a product the man who answered the phone was very rude and obnoxious. Because I wear dresses nearly evey day due to the nature of my job, I prefer to carry concealed with a thigh holster. Instead of trying to help me find an equivalent to the thigh holster I wanted, he simply told me that a thigh holster "won't work" and was arrogant and borderline-hostile with his responses, telling me I should use a purse (when I have a curious five year old and don't generally carry purses at all) or carry with a waist belt. Even after telling me over and over about his 35 years of teaching, he seemed to think that I would "get shot in the head" if I nonchalantly reached to my side and pulled my ready to grab and fire .380 off my thigh and instead suggested I wear a waist belt. He clearly hadn't thought this through because the only way to access the waste belt would be by reaching deeply into my dress or just ripping the entire dress off which is just plain ridiculous. This guy needs to work on class, tact, and communication skills in general. read more
