Extremely disappointed with both the service and quality. I ordered a $48 corsage for my son's prom a full week in advance and arranged to pick it up the day before or the day of the event. When my son went to pick it up on Friday, the same person I had paid claimed he couldn't find the order unless I gave him the last four digits of my credit card while I was at work and didn't have the card on me. When I called back with the number a few hours later, he told me he had found it and then abruptly hung up on me without any explanation or apology. To make matters worse, the corsage completely fell apart before the prom even started. The roses were falling off while we were taking pictures. This experience was unacceptable from start to finish: lost order, rude service, and a poorly made product. I regret doing business here and would strongly advise others to go elsewhere! read more

I used this location a few times but the last time I placed an order was thru the website and it went terrible. I placed the order before 10am, they didn't deliver until after 3pm! I didn't get a notification at all, I had to call and it felt like I reminded them that my order was waiting. Color me perplexed - and EXTREMELY satisfied! The florist I have used for decades here in Thousand Oaks is no more, so I took a quick look on line to see what I could find close by, and this was the closest, so I hopped in the car and headed down. When I arrived and went in I almost thought I was in the wrong place. Yeah there were a few flowers here and there, but I really didn't see anything in the place that clearly said "We're a florist". But the gentleman who helped me was quite professional and asked a few pertinent questions as I tried to describe what I was after and promised delivery the same afternoon. So I went ahead with the transaction even though I was still a bit leery as to what I would be getting. Until, that is, a couple of hours later when my friend to whom the arrangement had been sent called me. She insisted I must have told the florist that she herself had been a London-trained florist for years, because the arrangement she received was impeccably done, by someone who truly understood floral arrangement, not just a mush-mosh of flowers stuck in a vase. So yeah, it's a strange little shop of curious provenance, but they nailed the execution. I will definitely use them in the future and give them a solid recommendation to my friends. read more

I live in a different state and wanted to use a local florist for SAME DAY Delivery. My fellow yelpers did not let me down! This place has a website with sample pictures and corresponding prices. They have the standard photo and the option to upgrade the arrangement to "deluxe" (+$10) or a "premium" version (+$20). They also allow for a comment/special request section for the florist. The florist text me a photo of the finished product to make sure it was what I was looking for *WOW, just WOW* They also emailed me a confirmation once the flower arrangement was hand delivered (+$15 delivery fee). Probably unintentional, but the "Write a review" link in your email is broken. Also probably good for you in this case. Very disappointed in the arrangement. It was unimpressive. The poultry fence vase was taller than the contents and was the corroded eyecatcher of the whole mess. It's my mistake. I chose "Florist Choice" assuming it meant "trust us, we're experts". It feels more like "it's Sunday and we're exhausted". My $110 "premium" works out to 25% over standard. I don't feel I got anything premium at all. If I need to depend on a service in the future, I'll just have an Uber driver go to Whole Foods. He would never have picked the mess you served up for me. Obviously I'm very angry about it. Luckily others brought balloons and flowers to my wife's birthday dinner, so yours was simply lost in the mix. We left it behind. It wasn't worth transporting home. I'm asking for nothing. They are priced competitively. This isn't the place for a risky "value price", though I found, you generally get what you pay for. It did not have that many flowers for the pricing that I have paid at other locations it had lots of empty space and of course the photo always looks better but it was night and day. I ordered an arrangement for my Dad's funeral. It was about $120 which included delivery to the church since I had so much to do that day. I always like to support 'Mom & Pop' shops. 'Pop' delivered flower arrangement about 20 minutes before funeral began. Cutting things closer than they needed to be cut. Arrangement was ok. Their business does many other things, they are a postal service, Fed Ex business, U-Haul Rental place, UPS store, Printer, Fax, passport Photos and who knows what else. Got a beautiful, unique Mother's Day arrangement as a walk-in customer on the day before Mother's Day with wonderful service and attention to detail. This was after 4 other Westlake florists I'd called that were higher up in the Yelp results said they couldn't take walk-ins because it was too busy this weekend, so I was starting to get nervous. After that, I just started scrolling for interesting names and came across Blue Violet. So glad I did, because this bouquet turned out perfectly and she loved it! I wanted roses and wildflowers in a glass, antique style vase and they definitely delivered, even upgrading to a crystal pitcher vase they had on hand. They also had some awesome decorative trays and vases on display but I had to remind myself that I was on a mission, no shopping for myself.
