I brought in an inspo picture and she was very straight forward in saying my hair type (pin-straight Asian hair) wasn't going to show volume like the photo unless styled regularly. I told her that was too much effort for me because I'm a wash-and-wear kind of girl. She made recommendations to address my concerns of recent hair loss, dead ends, and needing more shape. She was super friendly and really helpful with offering advice every time I told her about my hair problems. Too dry, too frizzy, too damaged, everything! Believe me when I say my hair has been through a lot over the last decade and more. Patty washed my hair with an amazing minty shampoo and also a very light, non-creamy conditioner which I specifically asked for (yes!). Then she also showed me a leave-in conditioner and thermal protection spray that she thought would be best for my hair. What I most appreciated was that at no point did she ever try to sell me any of their products. She simply talked to me as if she was recommending something for a friend. The haircut turned out to be pretty good. My bangs were cut a little too short than what I would've liked though but luckily it grows out fast so it's not that big of a deal. She took off about 6+ inches of hair in the back so it ended up at the length that I wanted. Other random points: The Hair Fetish uses a lot of Paul Mitchell and Davines products. It's also a huge bonus that they do a free trim of your bangs if you come in the next 3 weeks after your haircut!

I moved from FL, and was nervous to find a new hair salon. The moment I walked in to Blue Violet Salon, I felt welcomed like family. Andrea is so sweet, remembers my name and personal details in my life; and she isn't even my stylist!! Lupe and I have been working together for almost 2 years! She listens so what I want and is totally honest about what can be done. Now-a-days, so many Instagram and other social media platforms show pictures or videos of hair color and styles, but they use filters, extensions, and multiple sessions to create a desired look. Lupe took what I asked for, and said we will get it there, but it will take time, and I want to keep your hair healthy since we're using bleach. Everytime I see her I am more amazed!! She knows so much about my life and truly cares! And my hair has never looked more amazing. It is healthy, strong, and always a beautiful color. She never rushes to get done, and always makes sure not only I love my hair, but that she feels it looks great. This is so comforting because I know she prides herself on her work and is all around AMAZING!!!!!!!! I do not know what I would do without her. Thank you Lupe!!!!!! I will always be grateful to you for being such a wonderful woman, hairstylist, and all around the person I depend on most to make me feel beautiful!!!! As a salon- staff are ALL very warming and welcoming. The salon is beautiful and simplistic. Always clean, and truly offers retail products that clients want; Redkin, Olaplex, (my favorites), and also a lot of Aveda which many like. I've been going to the same hairdresser for almost 10 years , took a chance here and did not regret it . I've never had a haircut look this good weeks after getting it cut . everyone was very polite from booking the appointment on the phone to the stylist who cut my hair . She took her time LISTENED to what I wanted and did some thing no other hair dresser has ever done , she SHOWED me how to style my hair (mind blown!!!!) i always struggled getting it to look as good as when i leave the salon. I was very concerned about highlights in my blonde/brown hair as this was my first visit. Sometimes my hair can turn orange tone and I definitely did not want that. Lynn was great! She took the time to really understand what I was looking for, was patient while I found the perfect picture of my hair color on my phone, and consulted with her manager on a plan of action. She did a great job. If this salon provided blow-outs as part of their service, rather than as an additional charge, they would be regarded as providing total care to the client! read more

This salon is really great! I've had my hair styled, cut, and colored many times in the past 1 1/2 years. Everyone at the salon has been professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Stefanie has been my stylist and she is wonderful at her job! I can't believe what a great job she does with my color. I feel beautiful when I leave the salon. I went in to get some purple put in my hair. The first time I went it looked awful! I somehow ended up with blue and green in my hair and it looked nothing like the picture! Well Andrea the owner was so lovely she rescheduled an appointment and Amanda fixed it so well I absolutely love it!! Amanda was so nice and she made my hair so close to the picture I couldn't have asked for anything better! They even fixed it for free!! My previous stylist stopped doing haircuts and I had recently gone to a shorter, edgier look with blonde highlights. I asked for Bobbi on short notice to fix up the cut and add highlights. I showed her pics of style and color and she worked with me throughout the process to ensure I was getting what I wanted. I highly recommend this salon. It's very clean, all of the stylists are very friendly and you will be well taken care of. Amanda has been cutting my hair for over a year and she really gives a great cut. I had some concerns about dye allergies and they were very careful to address these concerns while giving me hair color that I absolutely adore.
