I was in therapy for 8 years when my not so caring therapist referred me to a county facility where the clients there are dealing with much worse problems than mine. A place where my psychiatrist said wasn't a good fit for me. I now have no support and am going through a major depressive disorder. She doesn't even want to talk with me. She referred me and didn't bother to arrange for a new Therapist at the new location. She has left me with no support and with a very bad taste for therapy and therapists. According to their code of ethics this would be considered to be abandonment. She said she cared about me and like a fool I believed her only to be very let down in the end. my first review was deleted and had my location changed from mi to cal. I was keep on the same drug for two and a half years by dr waineo. I found out that you should see a change in your mood in one or two months she would not change my drugs just keep saying it takes time. I found her to be uncaring to my mental health, I have been in the same depression hell for two and a half years,wrecked my family life got a new doctor 5 weeks later feeling better. read up on depression and drugs they tell you nothing you need to find out on your own. in case they change my location again I live in rochester mi read more

So I forgot my meds on vacation and my doctor was very accommodating. Although office staff were extremely rude in handling my situation. I been a patient for years and am very disappointed. People who work with individuals with mental heath people should learn to treat there patients with care. Sad to say this may make me look elsewhere for my mental health services. read more

I have never been treated by any business the way they just treated my wife and I. I was sent here by Veteran's Affairs for my mental health counseling. After missing my first appointment with my psychiatrist, I called many times over 2 months to reschedule. Always a voicemail. When I finally got a hold of the company, they were snappy. They HUNG UP on me while I was explaining that my wife and I have been contacting them for months. I have made a report to the VA. read more

This office is the prime example of why we have a negative stigma around getting help with mental illnesses. Having recently moved to the area, I came in search of a place that could continue with a very simple treatment plan. Unfortunately, when the intake coordinator (not sure she has the right credentials to be using that term) tells you that the psychiatrist doesn't treat the rather common adult ADHD and certainly wouldn't continue mediation for it then it's time to be decertified. I was also told in a very sarcastic way that he has a 5 mile long waiting list as it is. When you portray that someone's real issues don't require help then you push away those who have taken a lot of courage of taking the first step of getting help. read more

I feel like they are very professional and do their best to help. My counselor is especially helpful and nice. It's so easy to talk to them and they are really nice and can see things from a perspective I don't necessarily see, but aren't mean about it. I've had many different counselors in the past from different places, and they are usually pretty pushy or kinda mean about their thoughts and perspectives on what I tell them, but this one is so different and understanding. The np is too and if she doesn't know something or understands something, she tries to or looks it up. And tries to nicely get you to clarify things more. I've had many do it kinda meanly and/or rudely. They are better than a lot I have known and seen. read more

This was the worst counseling experience I've had. I felt I wasn't listened to, or believed. I tried to relate the trauma symptoms I currently experience and I wasn't believed. The therapist had poor boundaries and couldn't keep the session in line (couples counseling). When she was challenged as to her doubt of my fears and deepest feelings, she became offended and kicked me out. When I filed a complaint with the administrator I was blown off and disbelieved. Her response obfuscated the facts I reported to her and clearly revealed she did not read or comprehend my letter of complaint. She even told me I had no rights because I wasn't a patient. I thought I was one half of couples counseling, a client. Apparently since it was my now ex partners insurance, I have no rights. I was led to believe it was couples counseling, not individual with me as an outsider. There was a total lack of empathy on both the counselor and administrators parts. I thought counseling was to listen, not deny. This has exacerbated my symptoms. This clinic has had a bad name for a long time and I now join the many who have been mistreated by inexperienced and unprofessional "counselors". This is just another shame to the already stigmatized mental health community. read more

Overall very unimpressed. The staff is very unprofessional and the "counselors" are also petty and share personal information. When unsatisfied with the first counselor, I spoke to reception about trying a different counselor. Not only did they say no to switching counselors, they told the first counselor who actually had attitude about the situation. Do not go there if you have any real issue you would like help with. read more

Called 10 times, left 5 messages. The Office "Manager" Jodi finally called me back, didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. Said "she needed to talk to the therapists and would call me back within 24 hours". (That was 96 hours and 2 voicemails ago.) If the first contact for your Company has very poor work and/or customer service ethics, it has to be assumed that this is the standard set for the rest of your Company. Does that sound like a place that you would want to trust with your family's mental health? If you are a therapist with this Company, I would be seriously vetting the person who is responsible for attracting new Clients. If you are a new Client seeking help, save yourself time and frustration by going somewhere else. read more

.came here for counseling and saw Kimberly martin. she didn't want to help me and wanted me to call back and get in with someone else. I was already setup with her so why would I want to do this again. I asked for someone else and several days later no phone call back. I was not well at all and could not wait. someone told me that they do this to people and do not want to help. they should just shutdown the place then. was very hurtful and I got worse and had to wait another week to get in someplace else. read more

I've been going here for counseling for the past three years. The Therapist I see is very qualified and helpful. You have to see a Therapist if you want to see the Psychiatrist here. The Psychiatrist is very friendly and works with you. The staff in the office are all very friendly and helpful as well. I'm very pleased and recommend the clinic highly. read more
