The initial consultation was good enough, and the lawyer sounds knowledgeable, so we gave them our case. But I should have had a second thought, when the paralegal accidentally sent me her own notes on me, calling me some lawyer turn which does not sound too polite. And without surprises, I was not too pleased with this paralegal, and does not think she is very professional. Ie, my husband's settlement letter had a few typos, which he had to point out to the lawyer. For my case, she got my address wrong, which I did not even give her that old address, also, I had to ask her many times to send over their evaluation form to state how the accident affected my life. Like she could not even be bothered to send it herself. The result of both the settlements were just ok too. My husband was hurt less so settled quickly, which looking back was probably a mistake, and this Certa did not advise. Mine was acceptable before Certa taking their cut, which is a third BEFORE the medical fees. So after their fee...not so good. All in all. I do not really recommend them. They are not bad, but not especially great. We had another small accident during the time we work with Certa, and was too small to them. So we ended up negotiating ourselves and got MUCH more than what Certa got us. If you have some experience dealing with insurance companies, and can handle collecting medical bills, I suggest do it yourself. Because I feel like all they did for me was bill collecting, and a very slow job at that too.
