If you have other options, I do not recommend choosing this law firm. The final bill I received was far higher than the initial quote I received. First one lawyer/admin/paralegal took my call and gave me an estimate. Then she scheduled a 2 hour call with another lawyer in the firm. By the end of the 2 hour call, the new lawyer then gave me another estimate to finish the project that was way higher than the initial quote but I feel obligated to continue with them because of the 2 hour ($600+) sunk cost. What was more unacceptable was that the lawyer's response was not timely. Sometimes she didn't respond for 4 or 5 days after multiple follow up emails. And she claimed that she didn't receive the final signed document from the opposing lawyer due to email server issue (which I received through regular consumer Gmail account). I am not sure if she is telling the truth. If she is, I wouldn't want to work with a firm that has unstable email servers that may miss important legal emails. read more

After posting my review on 2/5/21. I was contacted by Sam Darling from Genesis. He insisted that he wanted to "make things right" and that he would pursue my case "pro bono", without requiring me to remove my review. He demanded that I use a different attorney to complete the portion of military retirement I was awarded. His referral attorney did not file that paperwork stating that would be Genesis's obligation. I have not received any further assistance towards deeds, titles, retirement, or current court judgements, no matter how many times I have called Sam. Court judgements and interest continue to pile up totalling over 100k. I still do not have the awarded title, deeds, or pension signed. Sam is now refusing to assist with the pursuit of contempt of these documents that the court ordered to be signed over a year ago. read more

$6500 and all they did was file a couple docs to the court and respond to dozen emails. Did absolutely nothing better my situation. Go elsewhere this is why lawyers have such a bad rep. They take the easy ones money cause they don't know how it'll they do. But bring them a tuff one and everything stops but the billing. The work put into my case was worth maybe a grand not close to $6500. I fired him and negotiates by myself and got what I wanted and I never went to law school, then again looks like neither did they. So disappointed in them. Our experience was nothing less than terrible, leaving something to be desired with one point of weeks with no communication, and on another occasion he told me he sent out the demand letter to the opposing counsel, which was on 7/1/16 and then 18 days later when I asked him if he heard anything he replied telling me it just came back that day for insufficient postage (18) days? I felt like it was a circus. Daniel Peters on different occasions sent me other people's case information and court documents containing personal information and still unsure if I was billed for them?! Also not sure if my information was sent to others. I had decided 2 weeks ago that I was not going to write a review but his office had called me today looking for someone else they mix up people's information quite a bit, but the straw that broke the camels back was when I spoke to the receptionist she was so rude to me, I couldn't help but write a review. This law firm is lacking in the professional sense and sensibility, all the mistakes that were made could have been avoided with attention to detail or proof reading and a little communication. . Update: Today I received a phone call from Sam (Owner?) he reassured me that I was never billed for other people's case Information that was sent to me. He also said that my personal information was never sent to others. However in this conversation with him he stated that I wasn't telling the truth even though in his Own investigation he found that I was sent on two occasions other people's personal case information. With that being said he wasn't happy with my review and told me I had 2 weeks to take it down or he would sue for defamation of character! Not sure were the defamation of character lies in this review? Update 2: Ok, so I have received a couple e-mails from the owner, tellings me that if I don't take certain things out that he will file a law suite against me. So here's where I stand everything in this YELP is 100% true and and accurate I have every e-mail that Daniel Peters sent me as well as Sam Darling, and I'm willing to stand behind this yelp! .I won't recommend MARK MOLAY, he hasn't shown professionalism ,organized skills ,listen qualities during the time I worked with him. I did not felt hear during our work together. he was only driven by money, he won't listen to my issues , he will listen to his money, until today he has no idea what the issue was in the matter I hired him for . for him it was another divorce ,for me it was a safety and security issues for both me and the kids. according to the statistic about 65% of woman get killed in the USA, concerning finance issue and domestic violence during divorce, mark molay didn't give a dime about our ( kids and I )safety concerned. it didn't matter for Mark molay another racial and gender profiling how sad is it. please Mark don't work with a race or gender you hate, just decline the work next time. We all are aware of systematic racism and institutionalize racism. not only mark molay didn't listen to me, he stereotype me , and he create a new rule only for me " pay before I fight for you". i did paid the $5000 deposit and I was on time in my billing at that point .how many white people has experience this ? ... . I had to go to court and appears by myself because he will taught me out of things I wanted to do, he will often worked in opposite with what I wanted . as I'm trying to convince him to work the way I wanted him to do he was making money each minute. yes, each minutes is billable with him. looking back today I realized that he will voluntarily make me waste time convincing him so he can make more money. also he didn't want to put the effort and time in this issues. his hours are expensive and his work for me is mediocre. 3 weeks prior to the divorce proceeding, Mark Molay asked me for $15,000,000.down payment ( new rule "pay before I fight for you') money that he has never mentioned in our prior agreement. I hired him 6 month prior to the trial proceeding , not only I end up with no lawyer at the trial , I also end up with no document to work with .he has done nothing to help me , he just cost me money. in case you don't know no lawyer will take a case 3 weeks prior to trial . HINT: find a person that his willing to work with you and help you and treat you better than that. read more

DO NOT go through the immigration process alone. We learned the hard way. Brandon Gillin made this process happen. I thought this should be a lay up. It's not. Information provided by immigration is ambiguous at best and we lost $1200 because we were given bad info via immigration and US Gov't doesn't give a refund...even if they process nothing! We were referred to Brandon Gillin. He knows what to do. He communicates very well and makes himself available and the cost for such a process is reasonable. I have dealt with many professionals over the years to include a few attorneys and Brandon Gillin definitely is a top shelf attorney. read more

We were recently faced with the unfortunate circumstance of having to evict a family member from our home. After considerable research we decided to contact Daniel Peters at Genesis Law Firm. When I called him the first time it was (for me) more of a feeling out, to see if this would even be worth driving into Everett for a sit-down. Dan spent close to 45 minutes on the phone with me, patiently listening and answering the litany of what-ifs that I had. We made an appointment for the following Monday, and during that meeting we outlined what we wished to see happen. He again listened to our thoughts and turned that into the eviction notice, which was served two days later. At this point, barely one month later, this situation has come to a close, without going to court and costing less than he originally quoted us. Daniel Peters was hired to help us with an eviction, cost hundreds more than he quoted up front, cost almost $700 dollars for him to hire Clifford Courier to try to serve the papers, WAY over the cost initially quoted. After almost a month of "attempting" to serve the tenant, we had to mail the paperwork resulting in not getting a money settlement. When I called Michele from Clifford Courier to discuss the outrageous cost she just hung up on me. Daniel had so many errors in the court paper work that we could not get a judgement. Poorly negotiated the final eviction, the cops when finally they were able to evict said that our lawyer should have negotiated to have the tenant turn over the keys. If this would have been done we could have saved weeks! All costs a lot more than initially stated and took weeks longer than it should all costing me a lot more money. read more

With that, I feel I am fairly experienced in the legal process, the games some parties play and what really matters when it all comes down to it. Sam is brilliant and very methodical and responsive. He knows what matters and he understands the law. He doesn't waste your money on things that don't matter. My advice to anyone is hire Sam, give him 100% of all the details and facts and then let him do his job. The process takes time. Be patient. I just waited 3 weeks for an arbitration response.
