I called and was connected to a live operator who told me an on call person would call me back shortly. Honestly I didn't expect a call until the next morning. Sure enough 10 minutes later Brian called. He was so helpful and walked us through several things. We were able to find the problem (wire got tripped to the pump). He told us to wait at leas a half an hour before running water again. I told him I would let him know in the morning if everything was back to normal. Everything started backing up again the next morning. Brian stated that the wire could have been tripped for months and we didn't even know it, which probably caused a blockage in the pipes. He was out in a half and hour Sunday Morning, and was able to fix everything in under 30 minutes. He even checked our pump and stated it was fine and nothing would need to be replaced. Thank you so much Brian for helping out these city folks (recently turned country folks) in learning a few things about our septic system and being so helpful. We would recommend you guys to anyone and will never use anyone else.

Pros: Service guy was nice and unclogged the drain. Con: I spoke with the owner what needed to be done because I knew it was roots that was causing the problem. Told him I need a snake that can remove roots. He said it would be between $250-$300. They showed up around 9:00 am and had everything cleaned up and out of the house around 10:15 am. Technician tried to charge me $375 saying it was 2 hours of work, when I was told it would be $300.00 max and a lot of the time was wasted due to their equipment not working and the technician trying to fix the attachment at the end of the snake. Equipment was old and literally broke after one use. I paid with cash and asked for a receipt and the tech said they were going to send me an invoice in the mail, but I think he meant receipt. I called back to make sure it was a receipt and not an invoice that they were sending out because I had already paid for the service. Owner gets mad at me and starts yelling profanity over the phone dropping f bombs every other word, because I told him I did not want to pay the $375.00, when he quoted me over the phone $300.00 and a large portion of their time spent was trying to fix the snake that broke right away. There were other issues also but when the owner of the company goes off swearing every other word and will not even let you talk that is when there is no point in supporting them anymore.

The service was only to put it back the voset tub which came out from its position. The service guy told me I am going to charge you $368 in 15 minutes of repairs. I call the their office, initially the lady who was the scheduled with that's impossible impossible ,but after she talked to him she changed her mind and said "agree with him because he is right. I needed a plumber to fix a badly leaking outdoor spigot. After a pretty thorough search. I…read moreselected Pratt; one reason was that there was no callout fee for first time customers. Davis came out the same day and fixed it within 30 minutes. I then showed him some additional work we wanted done - the master bath tub had a leaking faucet and we also wanted shutoff valves installed on both the hot and cold lines behind the service panel. He quoted $520 for the spigot and tub work together, which I accepted. He came back two days later to perform the tub work (less than 60 minutes). I was very satisfied with the experience and expect to use Pratt again for future plumbing needs. Highly recommended.

Northern Plumbing's prices are extremely high and the quality of their past work was extremely…read morepoor. They charged me a $250 trip charge while another plumber charged me a $40 trip charge. Northern Plumbing wanted over a $1000 higher price for the same water heater that a competitor charged me. The Northern Plumbing plumber that came to my home was very good, courteous and knowledgable but the current and past owners of Northern Plumbing overcharged me and the quality of their work was very poor. Buyer beware!
