I agree with others that this place isn't a "spa" but really just a small office with a few massage rooms (the rooms were too small for us to be in the same room doing deep tissue-- which we were fine with). The quality of massage therapist is truly where Hampton Spa Tranquility shines. We were taken in for our appointment right away and as soon as our therapists started I could tell they knew what they were doing. Perfect pressure, not super strong/aggressive smelling oils or lotions, full body work and she checked in with me several times to entire the pressure was satisfactory. I wish this place was closer to the city, I'd go once a month! $130 for a 90 minute deep tissue. Can't be beat!!

I paid right away, as I am always asked to do, and then I got settled on the bed. The massage was decent at first... until suddenly the entire staff began arguing at peak volume. There were 3 other customers trying to enjoy services. I had to ask not once but three times for them to stop yelling at each other. It went on for almost the rest of my massage which was about 30 mins. Due to the staff infighting my massage therapist became distracted and began what I can only describe as "petting" for the remainder of the massage. Too busy talking to actually give the massage. That was only the beginning. When my massage ended I sat up with a strange knowing...it was too early. I looked at my phone and sure enough, it was only 4:24. I realize 6 minutes is a not a long time, but 90 mins is 90 mins. I have never had someone stop early to prepare for the next client. My masseuse argued that he needed to stop early because there was someone waiting. Sorry, but that's not how it works. Don't sell a 90 minute massage if you don't intend on providing 90 minutes of service. Then, to make matters even worse, the man at the front desk asked for my credit card claiming he needed to charge me. Confused, I explained that I had already paid. I actually pulled up my banking app in order to show him the charge from when I had first walked in. He said "look it says 'pending', that means we didn't charge you!" Clearly this man has never used a credit card processing machine before. I refuse to give him my card as I explained to him that he had, in fact, already charged me. He said "well, we will just charge you tomorrow". Then hell you will, sir. Typically there is a very knowledgeable and friendly guy working the front desk (the manager) and I'm sure this would not have happened had he been there but it certainly left me with a creepy feeling. I did speak to the manager who was off site on this day. He apologized for the experience and credited me $10 for the lost time. Oddly enough, the front desk person still continued to ask for payment as I was leaving. I will be back as I believe this was a one-off. And I commend the manger for addressing it with me over the phone. Still, super weird trip to Happy Feet.

I called ahead and they were able to fit me in within 40 minutes, which I really appreciated. You can't see in from the window of this location, so walking in I didn't really know what to expect. Once you enter, it's a very calming vibe. The place is clean, low lit and welcoming. I was guided into the back room, undressed and laid on the table for my massage. My masseuse was communicative and checked in with me to make sure the pressure was right, that she wasn't going too hard. She really hit every pressure point, incorporated some hot stones and a hot towel at the end. I enjoyed my experience thoroughly here and felt like a new person once the massage was done. When I walked into the spa the scented air and pleasant receptionist were so inviting. But the best was yet to come.... I was a bit of a sceptic about CBD as it seems to be everywhere now. However Deborah's wonderful healing spirit (yes I got the spa's founder!), combined with the high quality CBD they use, made me a believer. Deborah found and smoothed out my knotty tight muscles with intuitive skill while making me feel safe and special. I feel more calm and pain free than I have in quite awhile.
