Nice 10:15 dolphin sighting tour. The Captain & Lexi were very nice & knowledgeable. We didn't see any dolphins, unfortunately, but we did see a leatherback sea turtle, which was very cool. Lexi also brought up some cannonball jellyfish for us to examine. It was a bit of a challenge to know where to park & get our tickets, but I called the office and they were helpful. It was also a bit tricky to figure out where to wait. read more

We went on the dolphin tour and had a blast. The Captain was fun with a sense of humor, and very knowledgeable. You can tell he loves what he does and how much he cares about the oceans. I was impressed that he spent about 5 to 10 minutes educating everyone about the importance of keeping our oceans safe and clean, and the small things we can do to help, like reducing plastic waste and picking up trash on our beaches and oceans. I was also surprised and very excited to find out this is a Net Zero tour! He even gave a shout out to 4ocean.com which is a great organization. Check it out right now if you never have. We didn't see any dolphins but we did see some leatherback turtles and cannonball jellyfish. The turtles are HUGE and it was cool to see them up close in their natural habitat. I could have stayed on that boat all day! The marina is in a good lactation in Murrells Inlet with several seafood joints around it. There is a cool vibe there and I highly recommend this tour. This was a highlight on my vacation. The captain was nice and friendly, but also straight forward and to the point. He made it 100% clear that he could not guarantee dolphin sightings. Also, he kept the kids/parents in check about the rules of the boat. You are on the ocean people, it can be dangerous if you're not safe. The tour is about an hour and a half, weather was awesome, and going early meant we had fairly smooth waters, i would recommend going early. Fun and entertaining, I highly recommend. We did see dolphins, but being on the open water was my favorite part. Will go again next time we are staying in Myrtle. read more

This year was our second time doing this tour! Every year we love it! This year it was a little choppy so I did get a little woozy. Please keep sea sickness in mind for this tour. Also do not be that person that arrives late. We had to wait a few minutes for people to get aboard. It clearly states on the website to arrive 45 minutes early! There are plenty of things to do before the boat takes sail. You won't be bored waiting and the rest of your sailmates won't hate you for the whole trip. The captain is very knowledgeable about the ocean. He keeps it entertaining and informative. I definitely recommend participating in this tour! read more

While of course humans cannot predict where dolphins will be, we saw a pod playing and eating. The crew is knowledgeable and informative and works with their sister boat to find where dolphins are. Seeing the beaches and the magnificent beach homes from the water was a treat too. Finally saw the Huntington Beach jetty! Sitting in the back we voildn't hear everything because of the engine noise but it was so fun it didn't matter! 90 minutes seemed longer which never happens! read more

Don't miss out on this dolphin tour if your staying in the Myrtle Beach Area. It was about a 30 minute drive from our hotel on N Ocean Blvd. Located in Murrells Inlet off the Marsh Walk. Plenty of restaurants to grab a bite to eat after. The crew were awesome and hilarious. They told us we weren't guaranteed to see any dolphins as they are wild animals but they would try their best to track them down. We had an amazing time and saw plenty of dolphins even if we didn't I'd still give this 5 stars just because of how awesome the scenery and crew / captain was. And for only $31??! We had an amazing morning with Blue Wave Adventures Dolphin Watch Tour in Murrell's Inlet! It was a VERY hot day so it felt great to be out on the water enjoying nature. The captains were personable and funny. We were lucky enough to see lots of dolphins frolicking and chattering in the calm ocean. We LOVE that the company is focused on helping our earth survive by educating about the dangers and havoc wreaked by plastic. They also donate money to an organization that sucks carbon emissions up equal to the emissions put out on their tours, thereby leaving a zero carbon footprint. Their energy for our fragile ecosystem is appreciated and we were so happy to hear them speak about it and encourage their customers to speak out against seismic testing on our coast. We had the best time getting up close to nature and learning about how incredible dolphins are! Wish we could've seen some loggerheads or leatherbacks, but you can't force nature to play. Our tour started by the captain lecturing all of us about how we better not write a bad review if we dont see dolphins and if we were going to we could just get off his boat right now. Mind you this was not said in a kind way but In a lecturing you have been a bad child kind of way. He then proceeded to tell us we better not be the kind of parents that encourage their children to break the rules and get them yelled at because he will yell at you and them. Well needless to say the mood of everyone on the boat became somber and no one spoke a word for most of the rest of the trip. What should have been an enjoyable trip felt like a prison sentence with all of afraid to talk or move. We were told that if we needed to throw up there were barf bags but if you throw up in them they are yours to keep and you will hold it the the whole boat ride and carry it off the boat. Don't dare try and give it to them or throw it in their garbage. At the end we were lectured about how all the animals are dying and all the oceans are dying and made our whole family feel bad and like we had already done something wrong instead of making us feel motivated to change. Now I agree with the captains message but feel the way it was delivered is only going to turn people off. Needless to say our whole family was somber and depressed upon leaving the boat. We didn't see any dolphins which would have been fine if we had fun but on this boat fun seems not allowed. read more

We saw dolphins swimming on their backs , slapping the water with the tails , and swimming fairly close to the boat. He was so informative about ocean protection and issues affecting marine life. Horrible experience trying to deal with a business that doesn't treat its customers with respect. They have absolutely no signage to get you in the right direction, so we were lost before we even got there. We called them from the parking lot after wandering around trying to find them, they gave us vague directions that didn't get us there (the lovely people at Wicked Tuna helped us out). When we arrived, they looked at us like we were insane when we asked to go on the next dolphin tour. They said they had cancelled everything for the rest of the day due to weather... it was slightly overcast with absolutely no rain in the forecast. Glad we didn't buy our tickets ahead of time, because with their lack of communication and customer service skills, I don't think we would've gotten our money back. read more

The boat ride itself was really cool! The captain was very knowledgable and entertaining. We saw dolphins, the boat was comfy and clean, and he even did some donuts for us LOL! Everything leading up too and after the boat ride though was terrible. Boat left at 12 and at 1145 I get an extremely rude phone call from a lady telling me to hurry up because the boat is leaving at noon with or without us and then hung up. When we get there, it was very confusing to tell where we go and anyone we talked to was rude and told us how late we were and to "move it" even though we had 15 minutes. After we go off the boat, I went to the gift shop and my back was hurting. I bent back and then down and the lady came up to me and told me I was stealing and she saw me put something in my bag! I'm covered in tattoos so I am constantly discriminated against because of it but she was demanding I open my bag and it was insane. In the end, the boat ride was great and us and the kids loved it. But ya'll need to get a whole new staff because not a single one of them have any people skills. read more
