I'm so thankful I came across Joel from Blue Wave Pools! I had a pool sweep that was moving slowly. Joel came over and diagnosed the problem immediately. Upon further inspection, the wheel-bearings were shot as well. I had an old pool sweep, I asked if he could strip some parts from it to use on the existing one and he did - saving me time and money. Long story short, the pool sweep is working beautifully again! Joel has 18+ years of experience which is evident from the first time you speak to him. I could go on for paragraphs about how you should elect to permanently have Joel from Blue Wave Pools take care of ALL your pool repair and maintenance needs... Joel replaced a heater that prematurely self destructed due to my previous pool repair person improperly installing a chlorinator that caused it to virtually burst and leak everywhere!...the chlorinator was removed, a chemical check valve installed, and after a year, I haven't had a minutes trouble... He saved me thousands by repairing a leaking copper return line by chisseling out an area of cement at the ground level and installing a sealant patch and clamps...the alternative would have been hiring a contractor to go down a couple of feet or more through concrete to perform a much more time consuming and costly repair! Removed and replaced my pool light that was previously given up as hopeless years ago, as repair company was not able to remove the light and wiring from the conduit it was stuck and frozen in! To sum it all up, Joel is punctual, professional, highly knowledgeable, and a rare find!! Our townhouse complex pool was out of service Sept 2018 for 30 days because two other companies couldn't fix our heat pump. Joel stepped in and saved the day! He fixed the problem at a very reasonable price. Joel unclogged gauges, replaced bad hoses and fixed a dangerous, incorrectly coiled clamp under high pressure which could have killed a person that two previous companies ignored for months. Ive known Joel for over a decade, as he has worked for several pool companies. He is such a hard worker and does such outstanding work that I have followed him to whatever company he is working for, paying whatever monthly charge just to keep him as my service technician. He diagnosed problem over the phone and showed up with the correct parts in less than 3 hours! Explained everything he did and why to the point I can repair myself next time,no way, I'll call him.
