Stage of mind came highly recommended from our realtors. Initially I was unsure of how much this…read morewould help sell our home. From our first meeting Liana was amazing. She listened to my concerns and provided excellent ideas and things I could do, she even went to stores and took pictures of things I could install all before I signed with her. I was completely blown away with what she did to our place. There were many times I wondered if I even wanted to sell it anymore lol. I am planning to use her to upgrade our current home, she is truly a visionary!

I get it, you're a designer or something in the creative field, you have a good eye for design, or your best friend was once an interior designer, etc. All the above applied to me and I thought how hard could it be? IT... IS... SUPER HARD and more so, TIME CONSUMING! Unless you have a warehouse full of beautiful candles, vases, wall art and furniture you are not using, you'll need to buy, source, borrow or steal all these things to make your cold, empty shell of a house a home. Liana and her amaaaaaazing team did this for us. A consummate professional with an impeccable eye for all things beautiful, Liana pulled together the perfect look for our house. By the time she was done, it exuded warmth, character and style. We considered a few other staging companies before we decided to hire Stage of Mind but I knew it was going to be Liana after meeting her in person. She came to the house, took photos of the space and provided us a quote within a couple of days. She was super easy to work with, her pricing was very competitive, scheduling was a breeze and her team did an incredible job staging and de-staging the house without leaving a mess or a speck of damage to the property. Last but not least, the house sold for much more than our asking price which we 100% attribute to the magic Liana and her team sprinkled on the property. To say hiring Stage of Mind was well worth the investment would be an understatement. I've already referred several friends and neighbors to Liana and will continue to do so!

You can put your complete trust that they will stage your house to perfection so that it will look great for the photos and the tours!! Our home went into escrow 4 days after listing and we received $100,000 over asking price! The 1st stage service is a great value and will pay off tremendously in the end.

I had them stage a modern townhouse in Costa Mesa near the beach. Unfortunately, the staging style they chose did not match the aesthetic of the property at all. I am not a designer, so I typically trust their vision and let them take the lead. This time, I reached out to their team and simply asked if we could swap out a few items to make the space feel more modern or beachy. I was told I would need to pay a restocking fee. That response was frustrating. I had referred them many jobs and clients in the past, and while the fee itself was not a large amount, it felt unnecessary and left a bad impression. They did eventually waive the fee, which I appreciated, but the situation already felt mishandled. Fast forward a bit. The property did not sell, and I requested that it be de-staged. Their team came out a few days later and removed the furniture. A few months after that, they emailed both me and my client, who was the actual party to the staging contract, claiming there was a prorated balance due for a few extra days the furniture remained in the home. The amount was under $400. The contract was between my client and 1st Stage, not me, so I was confused as to why I was included. Shortly after, Mark Sutton emailed me directly asking if I could take care of the payment by the next day. I found that extremely unprofessional. Agents are the ones who bring them business, and asking me to personally pay an invoice that had nothing to do with me showed a real lack of business judgment. I expressed my disappointment with their customer service, and the only response I received was a payment link. If you are looking for a stager who truly feels like a partner and values long-term relationships, I would think twice before using this company. In my experience, once an issue arises, you are treated like just another number, and preserving relationships does not seem to be a priority.

Unfortunately, when they were finally ready to put it on the market in September 2025, the housing market had cooled quite a bit, so we were worried the house would take a long time to sell or we would get less than my parents needed to fund their transition (at 86 and 88 yo) to assisted living. In short, we knew that choosing the right designer to stage the house would be critical. I come from a family of artists who have a keen sense of design, so to say I'm a picky customer when it comes to decor is an understatement. I reviewed dozens of staging portfolios before choosing AV Home Staging, and after working with Anna, I can confidently say I made the right choice. I was absolutely thrilled with Anna's beautiful work, responsive communication, and caring approach to helping us shine the best light possible on my parents' house. The best part: The house sold in 5 days for $75k over asking! And I have no doubt that Anna's artistry, attention to detail, and elegant design helped us secure several excellent offers ONE DAY after the open house, including two that were substantially over asking. Beyond that, Anna communicated with me regularly throughout the process and cared deeply about staging the house in a way that would honor the family that it had nurtured for so many years. She was also patient and understanding when I could not respond to her as quickly as I wanted to. I highly recommend AV Home Staging to anyone and everyone who is looking to maximize the value of a home they're selling. Anna is an incredible designer who takes tremendous care and pride in her work.
