After over a year of extensive research, we picked up our little handsome and 100% healthy boy (Matcha) from Blueberry Brook Yorkies about 5 months ago and are absolutely in love with him. I can't thank Blueberry Brook Yorkies enough for bringing my precious yorkie puppy into my life. I did a ton of research before purchasing my first puppy and was able to find them through the AKC directory. Jennie was great throughout the entire process. I was put on a waitlist and patiently awaited for my puppy for about 5 months. As a first time owner, I had a ton of questions about the breed and Jennie was always great about answering me. When I was next on the waitlist, I was able to see pictures of all the available pups and choose my puppy! On the day I went to pick him up, I was so excited. In total I was at their home for one hour to fill out some paperwork and complete payment. They were great about giving me instructions and tips on caring for the puppy. They also sent me home with a ton of food and supplements. It was a great experience and I know where to go, if I ever need a sibling for my baby! read more

Update: please see photo of the venmo acct showing I requested my deposit back after I wouldn't pay the #3500. Done! let it go already! As you can see this is all about the price and not the customer service. The photos show her attitude, that she hostile quick! I have raised 2 yorkies to 15 yo each, my vet takes care of all the sacramento K-9 police dogs as well, and as for her actually being able to black ball me well, more arrogance like she is the only good breeder out there, I have already put down another deposit with a very, very reputable breeder, told her what happened and to look upon this review, as I am on yorkie forums. Apparently this breeder has never heard profanity before and it was deserved due to several insults given by her guess I'll have to post the entire thread for better understanding. Breeder is now bullying and threatening me to take this review down or she will tell all the other breeders not to work with me so beware! I guess they are going to report me to the Review Police, because I have nothing else better to do than to write a bad review because "they wouldn't give me a discount" ???? I would and did not ever agree to paying $3500 for her dog, if she had called me like I asked 2x even after she had my deposit then this probably wouldn't have happened! There were two applications because the breeder changed things right in the middle of my discussions with her about price so if she's showing you an application it's only the second of the two and I never agreed to 3500 based on the dog she wanted to give me. The arrogance never ends!Apparently, she is arrogant enough that if she doesn't think you're rich then you don't deserve one of her dogs or if you leave a review she's going to blackball you. There is no question in my mind that this breeder has quality dogs but I felt like I was being extorted for an extra $500. Thought maybe Service would be better once I gave her a deposit of $500 which she initially quoted me $200 deposit but alas I did not get any better. I had to request pictures of my dog she never sent them as promised. And after several exchanges over text after me asking her to please call me two times and send me the contract two times Both of which never happened, I became very nervous about this Breeder. Would she stand behind her health guarantee? The excuse she gave me when I said I needed to get my deposit back is that she had been so busy with kids and dogs she didn't have time to respond. I gave her the deposit on November 10??? And she didn't have time to respond by December 28? I am very disappointed in this Breeder! lesson learned, it is not just about finding the right puppy, but just as important is how the breeder treats you personally during the transaction, even before you give your deposit, there are championship breeders out there that don't even take a deposit because they know there are so many people on the waiting list they don't have to take your money first. Blueberry Brook Yorkies was great to work with. We had a specific type of yorkie we wanted (parti yorkie) and also wanted a certain sex and predicted size (we know the best that one can do is predict size and there is never a size guarantee however we were looking for a size that at least was "charting" to be on the smaller side of the normal breed standard when born). When we explained the color, size and sex that we were looking for, this breeder was honest that parti yorki females had a waiting list and she was honest about how long I may end up waiting. She didn't make false promises to get me what I wanted sooner than she could provide it. In addition she promised in writing to refund my deposit if she did not end up having a parti female for me by the time she had projected to have one, and said that if I found one with another breeder and didn't want to wait longer she would refund no problem. More than once she offered to make good on that promise as she knew we had recently lost our 15 year old yorkie and still had one dog at home that was lonely and ready for a new fur sibling. We thanked her for offering but told her we had actually met a family with one of her yorkies recently and he was so sweet with a great temperament and healthy, so we wanted to continue to wait for one of her future litters. We got the call at the tail end of the predicted month she had given us, to let us know that she had a beautiful new baby for us to consider. She was everything we had hoped for. Our sweet girl is bright eyed, beautiful and healthy. We were able to meet the parents as well as other dams, sires, and litters. They were all healthy and clearly family pets (yes all of them) and their gorgeous home and property were clean. They had us take off shoes and clean our hands to protect their dogs, and they gave us phone numbers for day or night and have helped me with a couple questions. These are covid times and it is very hard to hand over a sweet tiny puppy to a vet and sit outside while they take it in for vaccines so when I mentioned this, the breeder invited us to come back to them for free for the next two rounds of vaccines. It was perfect to be able to be with her while she was cared for. I can't say enough about how smooth and pleasant this experience has been. I have purchased a yorkie before (15 years ago) from another breeder and everything seemed shady and when it was time to pick up that puppy it seemed as if the dog was flown in from another state...but we had made our deposit and took the chance on accepting her because we didn't want to lose money and we felt sorry for the pup when we met her. We were right to have been worried- she was sickly on and off all 15 years we had her. The experience with Blueberry brook (and her whole family because they are all breeders really) was the exact opposite of the experience when we had our first yorkie years ago. This time was so different being in someone's home, meeting every animal and seeing how they ran their business aka took care of their family pets. Yes it took months on a wait list and yes it was on the higher end of the cost spectrum for what we wanted, but we do not worry about things like liver shunt or luxating patella or other anatomical things that careless unethical breeders pump out (or fly in from puppy mills). This breeder is the real deal and well worth the wait and cost because we have had our family pets 15-20 years and it really makes a difference to have pets that are healthy (the vet bills we spent on our last unhealthy yorkie over her lifetime far outweighed a slightly more expensive yorkie at birth). Our sweet girl doesn't have issues and was bred for sweet temperament. We recommend you contact this family of breeders and get on the waitlist and start your countdown to get the puppy your family has been waiting for! read more

I'm very confused coming back seeing all reviews in last year. I tried with Jennie many times for over 6 months to visit her and then give her deposit. Yet she would never respond if asking for address or an appt. Only respond about sending a deposit sight unseen which I'd #1 thing scammed do. After I kept trying and no effort back I finally stopped. Looking at a couple of pics of her Yorkie Terriers in reviews I see they are not even close to pure bread the body and coats all wrong and ears on yorkie are small pointy and straight up without having to pin or do any surgical procedure like some dogs. Then there is 1 Pic of a black and tan pure breed puppy that none of other buyers show here? Then Jennie having the judgment of posting her text conversation showing Jennie in terrible light sinched it. Extremely unprofessional language shows a temper and very poor and childish Grammer on verge of bullying the person just asking for deposit. If as great a breeder as she claims plenty of others to fill the deposit slot. Of there are any real pure breed yorkie reviews here I'd love to talk with them?
