At first she was quite transparent with my husband and I that he had a heart murmur. We purchased him from her for 1000.00. These puppies normally cost around 5 to 6K. Due to the murmur she lowered his price. When we had him checked our Vetenarian advised he should be seen by a cardiologist to determine the grade of his heart murmur. Fast forward- He was seen and the cardiologist broke the news that our boy has a congenital hereditary heart defect- pulmomaric stenosis. Pulmomaric stenosis is a hereditary heart defect in dogs that causes a malformation of the pulmomaric valve which obstructs the flow of blood from the heart to the lungs. He is at a low but severe risk of 83 out of 120 for heart attack. His right side of his heart has already weakend and he was placed on a beta blocker for the duration of his life. He was also restricted of all physical activity. He needs to have his nares and pallet clipping which should be beneficial for his health but he is at anesthetic risk due to his heart defect. Recently I reached out to Natalia and told her about his heart defect and asked her if she would consider a refund due to the heartache and stress not only my puppy but our 3 little girls are experiencing over this devastating news. However, she denied it. I explained that if she wasn't already aware of this issue I was relaying this information respectively so she was made aware that either one or both of his parents has this heart condition and should be checked out. Emmitts parents are Zara and Ace. Recently I found a Google review of a woman who had purchased 2 puppies from Natalia around the same time I purchased Emmitt. Her review states that both of her pups have the same congenital heart defect as our puppy! She reached out to Natalia with no response. This is so sad! Natalia needs to be stopped from breeding her dogs that have these defects. Its not fair to these puppies or their families who are having to go through what our family is. Its financially draining and emotionally exhausting. I will be pursing further action against Natalia. Please please please do not purchase puppies from her until you get a full physical examination of the puppy!

I love that there is a private sapphire ridge family fb group so we can connect with siblings and cousins is our princess. We are planning a birthday party meet up! They reach out to me regularly to check on our pup, answer questions and give support. The person who runs it, Cindy, is an amazing woman who has dedicated her life to rescuing and caring for homeless and unwanted cats. She knows each one by name and can tell you each one's story and how they ended up at the sanctuary. It's a great non kill shelter where resident cats are free to roam while the new arrivals are kept for a period in an acclimatizing large area. We need more places like this in California!

She surpassed all my expectations and I'm so happy and blessed to have been able to bring home one of her puppies, my sweet Asher, who will soon be six months old. I found Christensen Cavaliers on the AKC website, and when I saw Jenica's pictures and videos on her breeder Facebook page, I just knew she was the perfect choice. My instincts were right. We had a nice phone call, and she patiently answered all my questions. (Boy, did I have a lot of questions!) She loves her puppies so much and is very knowledgeable. The puppies' parents are healthy and kind natured. (I met Asher's mom when we picked him up, and she is so sweet!) Jenica goes above and beyond with her puppies. She does something called ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) with them. Look it up if you get a chance. It's so good for their development! She has the sweetest family with children who play with and love on the puppies, so the pups develop such a sweet nature. She even sent me pictures and videos of my puppy in the first eight weeks. My heart was so happy when she sent the videos of her son playing in the yard with him, and I especially loved the one she sent of her son dancing with Asher! These puppies are loved from the very first day they are born. She has a beautiful, clean home with a huge yard for the puppies to play in. I was so happy to see that, knowing he was safe and happy from day one. She also socializes them to sounds, baths, people, and even car rides so that they will be an all-around wonderful puppy! We continued with socialization when we brought our sweet little boy home. Our little Asher is now six months old. He loves everyone, men and women, and he gets so excited to play with children. He also loves all dogs and wants to play with all of them, regardless of size. He rarely ever barks except for the occasional "bark of joy" when he gets super excited in a big play session with his favorite toy. He is so smart and learns commands and tricks so quickly. Everything that Jenica did to raise Asher in those first eight weeks set him up for success. She kept in touch with me even after we took Asher home and continues to answer questions. She is amazing. She cares so much for her puppies even after they leave her home. I have really, really high standards, so trust me when I say that it takes a lot to impress me. I respect her and love her, and I highly recommend her to everyone who asks about puppies. If you are lucky enough to be able to bring one of her puppies home, you will be so blessed! She is the best!

Sally Welch, the owner and kitty-caretaker extraordinaire, was a great help in organizing Billy's adjustment to my home, allowing me to foster him first to make sure he got along well with my spazzy little female, Knuckles. Within a month, they began cuddling, and now they sandwich me at night and roll around like dervishes, play-fighting. Billy is such a butterball of love; I don't know what Knuckles and I would do without him! Sally does this work completely from the heart, and I am very glad to have supported this organization.
