Every interaction we had with her she was rude and unprofessional for absolutely no reason. Every time I sent her an email my wife and I waited for her very snippy response. We were good tenants, always paid our rent on time and took care of the property we were renting. When we moved out they made us pay for a professional cleaning, flea & tick prevention and carpet cleaning with "contractors of their choosing". These cleaning contractors were laughably unprofessional and expensive. Metroplex homes also deducted almost $1,000 dollars from our security deposit to rekey, clean the property (after we already paid $700 for 3 different cleaning services of THEIR choosing) and mow the property at the end of our lease. RENTERS BEWARE - read the lease contract VERY CLOSELY. They won't let you "break your lease" and will force you to pay out the remainder of your lease until THEY find a replacement tenant. We informed Karen we would not be renewing our lease over 3 months before the lease expiration date. Metroplex homes did not take any action or try to find a replacement tenant until we had already moved out. When they finally did post the property online, the pictures they posted online were very bad you would have thought a 5 year old took the pictures. As a tenant, we had a terrible experience with this company, avoid them like the plague!

Carpet in the living room and bedroom were clean enough along with the faux wood vinyl flooring. Outlets were not in the best of shape, some crooked or ill-fitting. Counter top vinyl in the kitchen was peeling a bit around the sink. Deadbolt in the front door was smashed and wouldn't turn. AC would heat, but wouldn't cool. Water in the kitchen and bathroom faucets can take two to three minutes before they start to warm. And then there's the water that's coming in all over the place, primarily along the back wall (kitchen and bathroom). Flooring is damp in the same areas, every single night. Bathroom, kitchen...even in the living room. And that's not vinyl flooring, that's carpeted. Now imagine that for six months straight. I don't want to know what's growing under there by now. The floor has become so warped in some areas that it literally slopes now. That's not an exaggeration. My leveling tool shows a four degree incline. The vinyl is peeling apart and floorboards are starting to separate from the baseboard now. Six months is how long it's been since I first reported the problems. After two months went by, I realized they'd forgotten about it, and contacted them again. That was four months ago. I've been patient and understanding due to the corona virus. But it's become clear they've forgotten about it...again. They did remember to raise the rent on the unit by $125 a month though, making it $975 now. (About a month after I moved in, the facility changed ownership, which may be why there are no reviews prior to mine. Owner is Legend Asset Management.) (Update...) One guy, living alone, 660 sq/ft apartment. I keep it at 75 during the day. When I first mentioned it to the office staff, the staff suggested it was the electric company raising their rates. That's a hell of a price hike, but I checked anyway. Nope. It was usage, plain and simple. They then suggested maybe it was partly due to working from home and all the heat my PC was generating.
