I've never heard so many "umm's" on a professional phone call before! She proceeded to tell us that we would not be able to get approved anywhere else. My agent recommended Colonial because they gave her family member extra time to pay his mortgage when he lost his job. Just gave him an extra few months to catch up on his other bills without worrying about losing his home. Can that get any better? I worked through a loan officer named Colleen Meehan and she is the bomb. After looking through all our finances, she came up with great percentage rate and gave us some really good personal advice on how we can make the most of what we had. My husband and I trust her with all our private info and she is super professional and knowledgeable. We went on to purchase a new home several years later and we went through Colleen at Colonial again. When it came time to update the kitchen, she looked at competing rates and even suggested a different bank (credit union) with a better interest rate. When a friend was ready to purchase her first home, we recommended Colleen and she helped our friend out a bunch too. The actual bank we use is small, has tellers that remember us, and they still hand write their deposit slips. My hubby goes inside to give Mrs. Meehan a what's up every now and then, and she knows us by name on site. We love this bank and we love Colleen!

Global Lending Services - Questionable Lending Practices…read more My experience with Global Lending Services (GLS) was subpar and extremely disappointing and concerning. I contacted GLS to request a loan payoff amount and asked for their bank routing and account number so that I could pay off the vehicle loan through my bank. The representative informed me that they do not have a routing and an account number for electronice payoff and that the only way to process a payoff electronically was for me to give them direct access to my personal bank routing and account number ...ABSOLUTELY NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!!!!! The representative insisted this was the "quickest way" to pay off the loan. I was then transferred between several representatives, and communication was extremely difficult because of their extremely poor English that was barely understandable. Ultimately, I was told the only alternative was to send a certified paper check to a post office box, which is both inconvenient and outdated for a financial institution handling auto loans. In addition, the interest calculations appear to be structured in a way that significantly increases the overall cost of the loan, which raises further concerns about transparency. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Global Lending Services due to their limited payoff options, questionable payment practices, their poor customer service and lack of understanding of banking processes and poor English/comminication skills.

They are supposed to report to the state that the lein has been released. Once they have your money, they don't care. I am going to be waiting a month or more to be able to get my title. During this time, my car is parked with no license. The title department doesn't take phone calls and customer service can't help me. Even the department of transportation is not able to get this information from them. I guess I am at their mercy to be able to use my own car that I paid entirely too much for with their ridiculous interest rate. Do not use this lender if you have any other choice. You will regret it.
