My wife called with a different number and was told, because we didn't hire them to perform the repair, they would not perform an additional inspection for the original fee. Hole is still open as I was sent back out of state for work and repair IS temporary but I find this blatant cash grab unseemly and would not recommend Leak Professionals because of it.

They cut numerous holes in our walls and still failed to restore proper plumbing. Instead, they bypassed and canceled two manifolds, which resulted in no hot water to our kitchen and laundry room (documented). When they returned to "fix" the problem, they made things worse by creating dead‑end lines, causing hot‑water circulation issues throughout the house and leaving multiple areas with only lukewarm water. They then attempted to charge us an additional $800 for this. After multiple follow‑ups and excuses (all documented), the company ultimately stopped responding altogether. We were forced to hire a licensed plumber to correct their work by running new lines to our kitchen and laundry room. The coordinator had their plumber Spencer call me to see if I had any questions after our initial call. I initially brought in another company for an estimate but called Spencer back for a fact check to verify the first company's pricing. Spencer was able to respond immediately with what Leak Geek's pricing would be for the same pricing and said they could get out there within about an hour. I ended up hiring Leak Geeks, and Spencer got here within about 30 minutes of being dispatched. He did a great job identifying where the leak was coming from. It was a worse case than I had hoped for, but he found it. He cut and capped the line so I could still use the rest of the water in the house while the drywall was being remediated and the eventual repairs could be made. He referred a remediation company, American Water Damage, who had an estimator come out, again within about an hour, provide an estimate, and get a remediation tech to come out to move a basin, cut open the upstairs wall, and place fans and a dehumidifier. I'm impressed and relieved that they could get all of this done in the same day. Spencer was friendly and professional throughout. This unit has an automatic shutoff if water is detected in drain pan. When we have very strong thunderstorms, the paper cover on the sensor will become wet and shut off the water. I called to ask about this problem and they sent 2 plumbers who spent 15 minutes in the attic, told me there was no roof leak and charged me $86. This is after spending a lot of money with them over the years. These folks have gotten too expensive and so I will looking for a new plumber.

My pool was loosing over an inch of water everyday, which made the pump unable to run properly as water level was too low. Since freezing temperature continued, my pool became icy as well. Outdoor faucets got frozen so I was adding water by running a garden hose from the bathroom sink (while freezing cold outside air was coming in to my house), just to avoid getting the pump damaged from complete stop of its operation.
