Stay far away from this company!!! Leak Whisperers charged my family $3,200 to repair a single slab leak, and the job was completely mishandled. They cut numerous holes in our walls and still failed to restore proper plumbing. Instead, they bypassed and canceled two manifolds, which resulted in no hot water to our kitchen and laundry room (documented). When they returned to "fix" the problem, they made things worse by creating dead‑end lines, causing hot‑water circulation issues throughout the house and leaving multiple areas with only lukewarm water. They then attempted to charge us an additional $800 for this. After multiple follow‑ups and excuses (all documented), the company ultimately stopped responding altogether. We were forced to hire a licensed plumber to correct their work by running new lines to our kitchen and laundry room. We know we were ripped off, and I'm sharing this so others don't make the same mistake. Do not consider using this company. read more

Folks, it's true, Jason truly is a Leak Whisperer. He came out the other day because I noticed my meter was running and there were no signs of water leaks at any plumbing fixtures inside. I feared a slab leak, which I've had before. Jason showed up and within 10 minutes had pinpointed where the leak was. It was on the line between my sink and tub in the master bathroom. We talked about a reroute or digging, but since I planned on renovating this bathroom in a few months anyway, he helped me out and capped off the lines which ran underground and eliminated the leak! Truly amazing how good this guy is, and quick too! Also worth noting that he is great at communicating with you and even came on a Sunday evening to cap off those lines! I had such a great experience with the Leak Whisperers. We had a really bad leak, so bad that the city actually called us because they were alarmed with the high water usage at our residence. As renters, we notified the landlord and they weren't able to get anyone out until the following week. Unfortunately, on New Years day, the leak got so bad and was going out into the street. I notified the landlord and we wondered how we'd find someone to help on New Years' Day! After a yelp search and many phone calls, enter the Leak Whisperers. They sent someone out within the hour and they fixed it that day. Wahoo! We had water again. Unfortunately, due to the holiday, they weren't able to get the ideal part and the fix did not hold after 2 days. One quick text to the plumber and he was back that day, no questions asked. They redid the fix and were apologetic. I'm so grateful with their quick responses and friendly demeanor. DO NOT USE JASON AND LEAK WHISPERERS. Jason was completely unprofessional and caused damage. He did not solve the leak and left things worse than they were before he got here. I warned him three times about buried drip lines, yet he did not locate the drip lines before starting and he repeatedly stabbed the ground with a metal rod, severed THREE (3) individual drip lines in different locations, and dug up a healthy bush that later died -- all while failing to find the leak. He told me to "wait a few days" to see if the hole dried (nonsense in Texas clay), then when he returned, he was hours late, claimed he overslept, then said he got into a car wreck. He claims he repaired the drip lines he punctured, but they're still spraying water up into the air. After five days, nothing was fixed, and my yard was left damaged. Unreliable, careless, and full of excuses. Avoid LeakWhisperer AND JASON PRIMOS at all costs! read more

I don't even know where to start. They asked me to pay for the work in advance. It was never completed. The city still hasn't signed of on the project, because the work isn't finished. The communication is horrible. They show up whenever they like, not even close to the day and time agreed on. The owner lies, forgets his lies, and months later will use the same lie. Jason is a magical unicorn of leak detection. Megan makes freaked out homeowners who are not sure what the heck is happening calmer and gets Jason where he needs to be. If I could give more stars, I would. The Leak Whisperers are amazing and make a terrifying situation less stressful. Megan and Jason are superheroes. After purchasing a house in November 2022, I had the privilege of replacing all of the plumbing and the sewer line. Fast forward to October 2023 and my main closet floor is damp and smells musty...but there are no water lines anywhere close to the closet. I called the HVAC people and the plumbers, and that was not the culprit. So, I called a foundation company (who could come out in November) and another leak detection company (who charged in 15 minute increments) and scheduled for a week later. I searched on Yelp and saw the Leak Whisperers. As soon as I called, Megan answered and was so very helpful. I explained my mystery situation, and she immediately contacted Jason and scheduled him to visit. Even before he showed up, Jason messaged me to let me know his ETA. When he arrived, I explained the situation and it took him less than five minutes to find the leak. Jason can find a leak where there are no reasons to have a leak (but the floor is damp). He also suggested some improvements that I could do to make sure the HVAC did not contribute to any future issues. Jason even cut a piece of HVAC pipe for me to attach to my outgoing line so it was properly draining and not rolling back into the house. Because the house was built in 1957, the waterproofing was less than optimal (because there really was none). Jason cut away the drywall at my request and located the problem (which was a hole to the outside). Not only did Jason find the source of the problem, he also referred me to the person who can properly waterproof the portion of my house that is causing issues. Jason also suggested some other things I can do to help combat any future leaks and explained how they could be DIY or I can hire someone. I admit, I hugged Jason and might have cried as he drove away because nothing with this house has been easy, remotely affordable when fixing it, or uncomplicated. Jason made all of those things happen in less than 45 minutes. If you have a leak, think you have a leak, are not sure why something is damp/wet, do not keep wondering - call Jason and Megan and let them help you. You will be glad you did. read more

I contacted them based on their good reviews. Jason was very nice and responded quickly to come out and evaluate our situation. We had what appeared to be a slab leak near the water heater. He came with all the necessary equipment and was quickly able to confirm the leak and pinpoint where the problem was and determine what needed to be done to fix it. We elected to do a reroute procedure through the attic rather than ripping up the slab. They were able to schedule us within a couple of days and came out and completed the job in about 4 hours. Very helpful, and knowledgeable. I was visiting my son, a younger homeowner, and he had a random leak happen - like into the living room and down the driveway. It was likely due to cold weather cracking a faucet pipe in a wall to the outdoors. I called Leak Whisperers, who gave a good phone estimate for that. They were good working with my son on this issue. The plumber did not have to open the interior wall or the exterior brick wall much, in the end. I am torn on how to rate The Leak Whisperers, so the simplest way is to break it down with the paperwork (scheduling and payment) and the work by the plumber. Cody, the plumber - 5* Office manager - 1* Hubby and I discovered a leak on a Saturday where a patch of our master closet carpet was soaking wet. A local plumber indicated that he was afraid that we may have a slab leak, and will need to call someone with the right equipment. I found Leak Whisperers, and left a message. When we received no response by the end of day, I went online and made an appointment for 8a Monday morning. Got an email from the office manager later in the morning on Monday asking me what I needed. Via email and two messages, I asked for someone to please call me because all we know is that there is water flowing in the closet. It took almost the entire day for someone to respond to me. The next day, Cody, was sent to our house and was told that the toilet needed repairs. Totally incorrect, and it felt like despite trying to talk to someone, I was totally ignored. Cody found the source of the leak, but had to leave to get proper materials for the fix. Cody was great and fixed the damaged water line. The annoyance is that we were charged per hour for the fix. Because Cody was sent with the wrong information, we paid for him to go out to shop for the right materials. The work was over $400.00 and pretty pricy. It took over a week for the office manager to send the invoice. Cody was brilliant, but the office manager could have had better communication. While Jason did fix my slab leak he did an unnecessary repair. He replaced my laundry washer box which didn't need replacing. I didn't ask for it nor did they tell me they would do it. Well there is a trim that needs to go around the box that he never installed. I left many messages with the office to bring it over and they blew me off. I can't replace the sheet rock until I get it. I've tried to find one online but can't find a match. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism. Jason really pulled me out of a pinch. We had just purchased an older home, and we knew there was an irrigation leak prior to closing. But once we put in a new backflow valve and fixed the broken pipes in the irrigation lines, the water meter was STILL constantly moving. I immediately feared we might have a slab leak considering there were no signs of wetness ANYWHERE in the house or outside of the house. Called around and every plumbing company I spoke to wanted me to wait a few weeks and leak detection was going to be charged by 15 min increments with a base fee of $100+. My house is over 2000sqft, how much do I have to shell out just to find the leak, nevermind the repair? Found The Leak Whisperers and Jason came out the same day. Leak detection was a flat fee and he found the issue in 10 mins. A few days later he sent over his senior plumber who worked really hard with his apprentice for 5+ hours on replacing all the exterior spigots we have. Fantastic service with Jason and Leak Whisperers! Our Plano water bill was extremely high last month. We called Leak Whisperers to come take a look. Jason arranged a time and looked all through our property without detecting a leak. I called City of Plano, who insisted there must be a leak and suggested we have it looked at again. We called Jason who in formed us that the new meters have been having some problems and came out again and did even further testing...once again not finding anything. He did not charge us for the second inspection and even called the City of Plano on our behalf to discuss this with them.
