I discovered today that they even have a monthly free bike clinic, where their bike mechanics will completely inspect your bike for safety and wear and tear issues. If I was really into snowboarding this is the store I would come to ship. It's like a snowboarder's paradise here. The store is also open 7 days a week, and there were a handful of associates ready to assist me when I showed up. I wish they had a store like this in Fact but luckily this store is located pretty conveniently in Falls Church. I am sure I will come back again before the summer is out.

We got a day pass which cost about $130 per person. I recommend visiting if you want to try snowboarding or skiing for the first time. Or if you want to get some runs in to get the dust off your equipment. Since it was my first time I mainly practiced on the bunny slope. It was a bit icy since the snow is man-made. I had a blast and want to come back to continue my snowboarding journey. I suggest eating breakfast before arriving to the resort. I wasn't impressed with the food, ton of chicken tenders and pizza options.

I had an appointment today and the place was bustling. They have plenty of staff although I saw signs for help everywhere. So here's my take, there aren't many ski shops anymore or like there was say, 40 years ago. Baltimore Ski Warehouse (BSW) is pretty central and they do offer both used and new equipment. There prices on used equipment are a tad high vs. eBay or liquidation sites. With that said, just like a lot of shopping, ski gear also has gone online and it's equally affordable to BSW. When you buy online, it's a gamble because what important is the fit! Some sales are final sales or a PITA to return. BSW affords you the fit and will work with you until you're happy. That's called connivence and you pay a little extra for convenience just like you do for milk and bread at the big gas stations. Today, I tried of 4 brands of boots and purchased a pair and left happy despite paying a little more. BSW, guaranteed me a good fit or I can return the used boots for another pair of used boots within their huge selection. Folks were nice and again, it was busy so MAKE AN APPOINTMENT online. It's easy and you're guaranteed service. Note: No Veteran or First Responder discounts.

He let us take our time and try on multiple boots to make sure they were the right choice. Usually the boots/ ski fit test takes five days but they were able to do it right away once we said we needed them by the weekend so we didn't have to make an extra trip. Such a great place to get used but in good condition ski equipment!

They stock clothing from high end brands like Patagonia, The North Face etc & so prices aren't cheap. They sell socks, shoes, jackets, hats, skis, snowboards, SUPs, swim suits, life vests & much more. I always go for their summer end of season clearance for good prices on summer stuff as they transition to fall/winter. I got an $80 pair of North Face pants for $20. Worth a look-see stop for outdoorsy folks!

We had trouble with some ski boots purchased at sun and ski being tight on the front of the foot…read more We went back to sun and ski, totally expecting to have to plead our case for someone to help. Instead, we got great customer service and sympathetic and helpful ski boot fitter. Alex waz great and she listened and helped. She heat molded the boot, putting a piece of foam around the front of the foot, so the boot molding could expand more when heated. We went back skiing the next day and the fix worked amazing. My daughter said the boots felt great and the tightness was gone.
