I've been using bluegrass oxygen for over five years. The service has never been great but for some reason it seems to be getting worse. I was too be at up with a new cpap machine by my doctor. Bluegrass Oxygen kept saying they got the order but needed more info. My doctor sent them everything they asked for multiple times and confirmed the fax number. Still didn't help. They seldom return phone calls. I ended up going with a new company. On top of that mess, when I was getting my supplies from them the price kept going up. My last bill was for $192 after my insurance paid. That was by far the most important had to pay. My insurance company told me they are over charging me and not to pay it. I went round and round with them and ended up paying to protect my credit. That's the last dime they will get from me. BEWARE read more

This company was referred to us when my Father in law was released from the hospital. We have tried for nearly 2 weeks to get this company to deliver the right oxygen type for us to travel to the appointments we need to travel to however, this has been the worse experience. They state our doctors office needs to provide more info. Our doctors office provided the needed info and this company STILL has not delivered what we need. I has this company and our doctors office on a 3 way call and this company STILL CAN NOT figure our how to get us the oxygen we need. In addition, they are charging a monthly fee of $28. When I called another LOCAL oxygen company they state our insurance covers the oxygen 100%, so in addition to them NOT delivering our needed oxgyen, they are also trying to charge us $28 a month for someone our insurance covers 100% DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have waited over 24 hours for a manager to speak with me. Either they have NO management or the managers to do not care to help people in need. STAY AWAY from this company!!! I got hooked up with this outfit somehow. Oxygen machine and a portable machine. Bill kept going up and up and some months no bill and then they would send a bill for hundreds of dollars. Long story short after my insurance they decided 145 was enough monthly. I wized up shopped around same 2 machines in Richmond at Premier Oxygen 24.50 per month. It's my opinion bluegrass Oxygen should b investigated for price gouging. My review is ho anywhere but here for anything or talk to anyone. I never spoke to a more condescending bunch. read more

Christina and staff have been great. I disagree with the 1 star comments. Fred has retired but was fabulous as is Sam. I have recommended them for CPAP supplies etc.. read more

As a consumer, I made three attempts to contact BG O2 and asked to speak to their "Christina" following an answering machine call from her. No one has called me back. I don't do business with people who will not return your calls. I am not impressed with their customer service. read more

I have been trying to get supplies for my c- pap machine for months. I have called numerous times. I keep getting the run around. Also the last order I received I got the wrong size nose piece. If I could this would be 0 Stars. I need to find a better company so I can get my orders. They are definitely not on top of things Ok I still haven't received my supplies and it has been months. Do not if you value your health , if you should ever feel you need customer service . do not use Bluegrass oxygen . Worst medical supply ever I can not reach on phone . rudest staff ever . zero empathy for anyone in distress over late supplies and equipment difficulties . I have given them chance after chance . My mother is stage 4 with cancer.She was put on 24hr oxygen. The doctor ordered it for her and Bluegrass Oxygen was in charge of it.. They are the worse and don't do there job. My mother went 2 weeks now without oxygen because this company's machine is faulty. My family has called repeatedly to get there machine switched. My mother went through her emergency oxygen because they would not service or come get there own machine..They charge insurance for oxygen and a machine that she can not use.. This company is the worse stay away from them.. Bluegrass Oxygen said if we want to we could bring it to there site.. I live 30 min away and i am myself disabled and cannot. Bluegrass Oxygen has said again today when i called that they wouldn't come get it or bring another machine.. We have told Bluegrass Oxygen that the machine smells like rubber burning.It has made my mother sick at her stomach and leaves a smell in the house.. This company is a sad piece of work stay away from them for service.. One of the worst healthcare supply companies I have ever dealt with. Having done business with them for 5 years I have nothing good to say about them. They don't call you when you are due for CPAP supplies, they don't return phone calls and worst of all their customer service is horrible. When the president of the company commits to something and renegs that is a good example of how unreliable they are. When a respiratory therapist commits to send your Dr information regarding the suitability of a CPAP mask and doesn't follow through or return my calls that's strike 2. Then they supply me with a CPAP machine but no mask indicating that Medicare won't pay for a mask until October, 2 months after I received the machine rendering it useless. So now I am forced to use defective worn out equipment or pay for a mask out of pocket. Just read the other reviews here and you will get a good idea of what its like to deal with Bluegrass Oxygen.
