I met with Suset at her salon . She was so welcoming and friendly and made me feel so comfortable . My hair and makeup experience went above and beyond my expections. Suset is professional and the most talented hair and makeup artist Ive ever had . Shes a visionary , a true artist . She listens and individualizes the needs of her clients. She literally took 20 years off me . I felt like a movie star. My husband and family were blown away at how gorgeous and meticulous my hair and makeup was went I went home. Instead she brought her husband who is NOT listed on her website as part of her team. He then proceeded to pull at my hair, hurting me, and then sat in the couch and open mouth coughed for the rest of the time. Suset herself was not much better. I have thick curly hair that I know can be straightened within 2 hours especially after I have done all the prep work to make it easy. But Suset genuinely cannot use a flat iron. Her work was sloppy. To top it off, she burned me twice. Once on the middle left of my forehead and it was so bad that even the photographer saw it through my makeup. The second was a huge burn in my hairline, also visible. I eventually told her to stop and called my 16 year old sister to come do it because she could do so much better than what Suset was doing. As for makeup, I told suset that I wanted a natural, no makeup look. Essentially, I just wanted to cover my blemishes and slightly enhance my eyes and brows. Suset incorrectly matched my skin, smeared bright lipstick across my lips in an imprecise manner, gave me big smoky eyes, and pushed false lashes on me so insistently, despite all my efforts to tell her no, that I began crying my eyes out. I looked like a clown an hour before my wedding. My hair wasn't done , my makeup was terrible, Suset was completely ignoring what I wanted, and I had a throbbing burn mark on my forehead. At that point, I told her to stop everything and I did my makeup myself. My sister and cousin finished my hair for me with sparse help from Suset. I did not get the hairstyle I wanted due to the time I had left. If you are considering hiring Suset, please reconsider because her treatment of customers is limited to what she wants to do to you. She will not listen to you and blame you when things go wrong (She told me all the things that happened where because I did not pay for a trial). Her general skill as a cosmetologist is lacking if she could not simply flat iron my hair and do minimal makeup for me

I found Zulema at this salon and she knew right away what I wanted. She understands the science of hair and takes her work very serious. I also find it stupendous that they multitask at this salon. Being that it is a full service salon, they will do your hair and nails at the same time! Whooo hooo! I went with my daughter for pedicures, and had to wait a bit (which is fine, we didn't have an appointment). I watched one of the workers finish someone's nails, and rinse the tools under water for about 5 seconds - no soap, no alchohol, no autoclave. She then brought them over to my young daughter, clearly intending to use the same tools on her. I asked her to get a new set of tools which had been autoclaved/sterilized, and she said they didn't do that there. The woman working on my nails agreed. I declined to let her use them on my daughter, and I won't go there again. There are nasty infections and illnesses that can come from salons that don't properly clean their tools!
