She waved her hand over her mouth and asked if I had a mask. Oh! I jumped out of the car and went about the business of getting the product I needed. I had to go back to the car to retrieve my mask. Once I was back inside, one of the clerks took me to the exact location of the product as I had already passed it. With that, I paid for my purchase and was out the door in less than 10 minutes. Note: Bags are $.15 so bring your own or be prepared to pay.

I will never enter this store! I spent more $$ just not to give Sally's the satisfaction. I went to…read moreget something that cost less than $10. an in/out transaction. But when I noticed the item cost on THIER website was less than in store, I asked for a price match. The clerk told me "we don't price match even off our own website" and I would need to place the order online for store pick up and wait for it come through for me to get the item. I of coarse asked what kind of policy was that! in my mind I thought that was incorrect. And b/c of her lack of help I decided to get it from another Sallys who price matched my purchase IN THE STORE! when I reached out to Sally's to ask for the store mangers name the clerk whispered something that sounded like "Isabelle" and then told me she didn't have a # or a way to contact her, and if I wanted I could wait until someone came in. and then she hung up! I understand the climate we are in, and that finding quality help is hard! BUT PLEASE IF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT YOUR THING, please stop tourching us and find something else to do!!!!!!! sallys train your people before leaving them in a store alone with no manger or other employees

As a first time visitor, I enjoyed my experience at the North Hills location. Staff are friendly,…read moreand the ambience is country, clean, and southern. There is a wide range of ankle and calf boots for all ages. The value is affordable and comparable to Ariat and Frye boots. I was excited to have my boots branded free of charge. I'm excited to return to receive a courtesy boots cleaning. Stop by for the full experience!

But from the moment Colin greeted us, I could tell this was going to be different--and it absolutely was. Colin, who had visited the South Congress location before, told us right away that this experience would be on a whole other level. He also gave us a heads-up that weekends tend to get busy, so we were lucky to catch him on a quieter weekday afternoon. The store itself was exactly what you'd hope for: a bit of Texas hospitality right here in North Carolina. Clean, well-organized, and welcoming. The vibe had that perfect blend of rustic charm and modern polish, and everything felt curated and intentional. Now, I knew going in that I was going to have an uphill battle--being a size 14 tends to make boot shopping a challenge--but Colin handled it like a pro. The 14s were too big, the 13s too tight, and the 13 wides were close but not quite right. Colin patiently walked me through every option, explaining fit and sizing nuances along the way. At no point did I feel rushed, pressured, or like I was a burden. When I joked about being high maintenance, he just smiled and said, "With boots, you have to be," and made it clear he totally understood. We spent some time chatting about other Tecovas stores he's worked in, and he even offered me a beer while we talked--classic Texas hospitality in action. He took the time to explain how the online shopping and return process might actually be the best route for my situation, which I really appreciated. The whole experience felt like a conversation, not a sales pitch. I never felt like I was wasting his time or that he was pushing me to walk out with something just for the sake of a sale. Sure, I left empty-handed this time, but I left with something more valuable: a real appreciation for the Tecovas brand and their people. I'll definitely be back when I'm ready to make a purchase--and next time, I'll bring my boot-buying patience and maybe even accept that beer. Pro tip: If you want the full Tecovas experience without the crowd, aim for a weekday visit.
