All of the technicians are experienced, attentive, and efficient. I rely in their creative expertise and my daughter brings in a specific photo example. At one point, I asked to see a book that was up at the front for more color options and was told no, because it was the same colors as what I had already. So they had THREE different display sets of the SAME colors.... When it came time, they didn't even have the color I wanted in stock! The worst and why I am absolutely most disappointed (and no, it's not that my manicure is already chipped to heck) - I asked MULTIPLE times to not set my dip manicure with UV Gel. Multiple!!! Then, as the manicurist is pulling out her little UV bases, I asked again - "please can you set the dip without the UV?" And she said yes, then got up to grab something, comes back, puts on the first coat and goes "OK, put in the light". WTF. I asked at least 5 times to NOT have UV and even asked for clarification BEFORE the manicure started if they could set it without UV and was told yes. Lastly, it was beyond tactless to have the manicurist hover over me as I paid when the tip screen came on. Would not recommend this salon for a dip manicure if my life depended on it.

The day before my birthday, my Mom out in California surprised me with a gift certificate to Eye Beauty Studio for lash extensions. I had never had them before and I was VERY that they would look "fake". It was just some thing I have never looked into before. Either way, I was ready to give it a chance. I called Freda to schedule and lucky for me she had a same-day cancellation so I slid right into that appointment and it was go time. When I parked in front of the salon I texted to let her know I had arrived and she met me at the door, mainly due to Covid reasons. She walked me back to her HUGE private salon and I sat on the couch and immediately felt comfortable. Freda explained all the risks and benefits and I filled out a couple of pieces of paperwork. We came up with a plan after bouncing ideas back-and-forth, looking at photos and really just trusting the process. Like I said earlier, I had never done this before and since I had no idea what that's was about to happen I was a little bit anxious as we got stared but that quickly went away. Freda explained what she was about to do and why and it made me really understand the process of what was going on. Things can be scary when you're eyes are closed for an entire appointment... but not this one. She also really made me feel like I was cozy at home laying in my own bed. From the soothing music to the coziest blanket I've ever felt in my life, it wasn't ling before I fell sleep... twice. The rest of the time we had a wonderful conversation. She is such a good listener. I am so grateful to my Mom all the way in California who just wanted me to feel pretty because when I say I posed for my after photos, I POSED for those after photos. I absolutely adore Freda. On one hand she is so professional and an extremely brilliant businesswoman and on the other hand she is the kindest most gentle person who just wants to make people feel pretty. They're great if you want to look at least a little made up without spending time putting on full make up. In December 2023 I decided to have Freda, the owner, do a lip brush. I hate wearing lipstick since it dries up my lips, which was the deciding factor. It's a two step process but totally worth it. No more lipstick for me, only some gloss. Just recently they added facials to their menu. I went today and had a brightening facial with an exfoliation done with Kaylin. It was pretty amazing and Kaylin explained every step of the facial. My skin felt so subtle and soft afterwards. In fact, I booked my next facial appointment already and I've decided to do this once a month on the same day as my eyelash fills. They offer packages which makes it cheaper than buying individual facials. Moral of this long review...I am totally pleased with all of their services and can only recommend them to anyone who wants to practice some self care!
