Very few companies impress me the way that Blueprint has. When looking for a test prep program I wanted a place with great teachers, a solid curriculum, and a platform that made studying for hours-on-end doable. Blueprint checks all of those boxes and goes beyond what I could have expected. For teaching, I was lucky to have Ross Rinehart. He made every class fun and interesting, created a healthy learning environment for students of all backgrounds, and took the time to give detailed feedback to all of my questions even after the course was finished. The curriculum is also very approachable and provides a roadmap for understanding each question type on the LSAT. This progression is greatly enhanced by the weekly trainings and homework problems that are automatically loaded into your account. The material will not come simply by attending the classes but if you trust the process and commit to completing the work you will make tremendous progress. Finally, the platform is phenomenal! It is very easy to track your progress, stay motivated, and get detailed explanations for each question. Having a video breakdown of almost all LSAT games was incredibly helpful when working through problems as well as the detailed explanations provided for each wrong answer choice and why they were incorrect. The platform also has an arbitrary point system that at first seems unnecessary but eventually becomes an excellent motivational tool that helped me stay on track with my studies. I recently took the Irvine summer class with Jay. I never imagined that I would end up enjoying studying for the LSAT. I came in thinking that the LSAT was an exam with an infinite amount of question types and ways to solve them, but Jay breaks down the material so well and ensures that you have a great foundation of the LSAT before proceeding to teach the more difficult material. You can tell that Jay not only has the experience necessary to be a great teacher, but he's also got the character and patience to teach it well. He is very eloquent and straightforward in his explanations, which attests to his familiarity and long history with the LSAT. Every time we touch upon a difficult question, he will refer back to an easier question from earlier on in the course to aid our understanding. (It's amazing because I think he has memorized all questions from the currently available 75 preptests!) He also makes sure that every student is getting individual attention and sets aside time from break or after class to talk with you and discuss your progress. One thing I was worried about before I started off with the course was the big classroom size (about 50 students). But after the first day, I realized that this is a bigger benefit because Jay encourages students to ask questions so there was always a fellow student who asked a question when I was too shy to ask myself. Also, Jay got rid of those fears for me when he memorized and knew everyone's name by heart by the end of the first class! He really makes sure that you feel comfortable in the classroom. Plus, the big class size fostered so many interesting discussions and it's a great way to make friends and study together! Moreover, the course itself is excellent. The in-person classroom course comes with the online videos which I used to supplement my lectures and reinforce the skills that I learned from that day. There are video explanations for almost every single homework question (and there are a LOT of homework questions). The videos are animated and you can tell that the course designers put every bit of effort into designing the curriculum to ensure that you are really getting quality instruction. There are also extra practice sets that focus on individual question and skill types, and there are also dozens of practice exams (all of the most recent ones too)! The online website was very streamlined and you could keep track of all your lessons, homework, and exams so that you know that you're not accidentally skipping around. I think that the visuals and modern interface is what really sets the Blueprint online curriculum apart from other prep courses. Plus, you earn points for each video you watch and homework problem you solve, and I think that is a brilliant way to keep students motivated! Overall, if you're serious about the LSAT (or if you just wanna learn to pick apart arguments) and really want to learn from the best, I highly recommend Jay from the Irvine location and the Blueprint course. Unlike some people who take multiple companies' courses, I have nothing to compare Blueprint to. With that out of the way, I would like to acknowledge just how palatable BP makes LSAT prep. I took the course with Ross Rinehart, and can confidently say I enjoyed spending 8 hours a week (in class) working on this beast of a test. Concepts were simplified, confidence was built, and the entire class was engaged and entertained throughout. I think the worst thing that can happen with a test like this one is burn out or boredom, but BP's website feeds you practice in a way that is effective yet not overbearing. The program is personalized so you are never working on concepts you have mastered, instead it caters to your performance as you go and helps you identify areas to work on, as well as guides you through them. Choosing a LSAT prep course is hard as there are so many out there, but I'm so glad that I took the Blueprint course with Jay over the summer! Jay makes the class and material as fun and relevant as it can be (and trust me - that's no easy feat considering how dry the LSAT is). You can really tell that he cares about each and every single person in the class - not only about how they're doing on the practice exams but also about how their classroom and application experience is. He's been through the whole process and definitely understands what we're going through. Jay does his best to prepare you mentally for the exam with tips ranging from how to prioritize questions to what to do the night before the test. He's a great instructor! The Blueprint material itself is great. Very comprehensive (although to be honest, I rarely finished all the homework... there's a lot!) and Blueprint does its best to make the videos and books entertaining with side notes and funny graphics. After spending way too many hours researching LSAT classes and seeing way too many crappy reviews for Kaplan, Testmasters, and Princeton Review; I decided to give Blueprint in Irvine a shot. Now, I don't know if I'm lucky or not (did I mention I temporarily moved away from Vegas to take this course?), but I think I hit the jackpot when it comes to the combination of picking a great program and getting an equally amazing teacher. Instructor: I lucked out when I picked Jay. Boy, it's been a while since I've seen an instructor who is as passionate as he was. Sure, a part of it might be bravado since he's been doing this for so long, but his authenticity and sincerity leaks through any rehearsal he might have prepared beforehand. He's also pretty funny.. usually LOL. In terms of style, he runs the classroom in a very relaxed manner. That said, the material takes priority and you'll never end up feeling like you didn't get what you paid for. Material: I can't compare between programs since I haven't taken any others, but the system is very structured and is pretty easy to follow once you get the groove of things. As a bonus, there's a lot of room for you to do additional studying if that's your thing. Environment: Area is easy to get to and not filled with bums or anything of the sort. Much better than the shitty areas some prep schools are held at. ----- Tl;dr: I'm super happy I decided to take Blueprint with Jay in Irvine. The reason for my 2 star review has nothing to do with the material given by Blueprint. Any test prep company can provide sufficient study material, but the instructor who is teaching this dense material needs to be engaging. Spring 2017, 1 took a class with Jay Donnell. This man was the best thing that ever happened to me during this process. He was the most engaging teacher. Jay loved what he did and it was noticeable. These classes are late, (6pm-10pm), keeping students engaged in the evening is extremely difficult, but Jay NEVER failed. After the spring course I decided to wait to take the June LSAT. I signed up for the course again, thinking Jay would be my instructor. Boy was I wrong! Let's just say Jay was a diamond in the ruff. I thank Blueprint for employing one of the best teachers I have ever come across. Tip: Ask around about instructors so you're not bored to tears. Took this blueprint course over Summer 2017. Ross was an excellent instructor who was thorough, witty, and very capable. He was extremely adept at breaking down complex LSAT material and making it understandable to an average person [me]. He has a great sense of humor that helps to mitigate the mind-numbing effects of an exceedingly dry and convoluted exam. Additionally, he has some sound advice regarding the Law School admission process and is a graduate of a very reputable law school in the Southern California area which is a testament to his own grasp on the material and intellectual talent in general. I took the July-September course with Ross Rinehart and it was honestly so helpful for me. I ended up getting my goal score and I could not have done so without Blueprint. Ross was really helpful in making the LSAT seem manageable. I think his teaching style and sense of humor made the three hour classes engaging and informative. He was also always willing to answer questions not just about the LSAT, but any law school related advice. Blueprint is a great choice if you are serious about the LSAT and want to succeed. I initially did the online course, the videos and materials are engaging enough that I was able to stay on track even though I was working on my own schedule. This review, however, is about the tutoring sessions I did with Jay (instructor at the Irvine location). I did a total of 12 hours and it was totally worth it! Jay has a talent of making even the most complicated stimulus seem like a piece of cake. Working closely with him allowed me to see and study his process/ train of thought more closely- which in turn influenced the ways I approached the questions. His tips and tricks saved me so much time in LR and LG. Working one on one allowed me to really concentrate on my weakness and fine-tune my strengths. We could spend an hour on one specific question type, or go over all my missed answers on a practice exam. We did whatever I thought was necessary or whatever he thought I could work on. Tutoring obviously helped with my LSAT score, but working with Jay was more than just that. He's a great motivator and wants nothing more than to see his students excel. He is extremely supportive and anyone who is taking the LSAT should know that that sort of support really makes all the difference. His attitude and light-heartedness made the LSAT fun for me, which influenced how I felt on test day, calm, collected, and confident. Even to those taking the in class course, I highly recommend reaching out to Jay for tutoring. Great program and great instructor. Simple, effective, and to the point. I already prepared for the LSAT once with another company. My first entry exam was a 147, and I came out with 160. Already a pretty impressive improvement. However, Blueprint offered my another boost to 164. I sucked at Reading Comp before, and blueprint fixed that. Its method was clear, simple, and relatively entertaining. The online interface was also great for customization. My only complaint is the online prep test interface. Blueprint got copy right strike from LSAC and had to change their test interface, which is pretty bad right now, but I've heard they are working on it. Overall solid 9 out of 10 read more

I was like you not too long ago. I was looking online, researching LSAT classes and I had questions. In writing this review, I hope to comprehensively cover all the things you may be wondering about. My relationship with the LSAT is so far the longest lasting one I've ever had. (And what a high maintenance mistress she is!) As of this review, it is just before the September 2014 administration of the exam and I've been studying since the Blueprint class began in early July, though I studied for all of Summer 2013, too, at a lesser quality LSAT class that was not at all what I needed. I shopped around for a new LSAT class pretty thoroughly before deciding on Blueprint; a combination of recommendations from friends and sizeable discount through an organization at UC Irvine made it attractive, but sitting in a class before signing up is what put me over the edge and convinced me to pay $1100 for 4 hours of instruction at least twice a week (sometimes 3 times). Summer vacations be damned! Jay's instruction, which I'll describe in more detail below, is noticeably effective even on day one. By the way, such discounts are not hard to obtain if you attend a workshop or info session organized by your school's pre-law society, pre-law fraternity, or honors program. So be on the lookout for those. And if you'd like to sit in on a class, just give the corporate office a call and they'll easily set it up for you. The Method-- The Blueprint method of tackling the LSAT is very effective. If you practice it enough to the point it becomes second nature, you basically become a computer and can answer questions correctly and with confidence. In fact, I suggest going into the class blank and with few preformed LSAT habits, if possible. Surrender yourself to the method, practice hard--you'll see your score rise. The Blueprint method is particularly effective at logic games, which are the scariest section initially for most test-takers. With practice and diligent application of the techniques taught in the curriculum, they should eventually become much easier. The method for logical reasoning is very comprehensive, though more difficult to apply since there's just so much to remember and practice with it. There are over a dozen different LR question-types and it comprises half the exam! Online Component-- The online component of the class, included in your basic tuition, is a dream. You get detailed analysis of where your specific trouble spots are on the exam. You can also see your trends of improvement over time, estimates of how likely X law school is to admit you based on your score and GPA, and explanations for every question in the homework and practice exams. On top of that, you can buy an upgrade to get every lesson also on video through the website. It also includes additional practice questions of every type and a feature to score and record LSAT PrepTest improvement for exams that aren't mock-administered through the course. In other words, you can buy a book of ten PrepTests off Amazon if you want the additional practice and the Blueprint site will be able to instantly grade it for you and record it in your progress. Instructor-- I think the Blueprint method would be effective given any instructor, but Jay stands in a league of his own. He has taught the class many times before and has seen it all. His experience works to your benefit and he's able to tailor advice to you if you ask him questions after class about your specific progress. He is genuinely caring about his students' improvement and gives you his full attention when you ask a question. He has taken the actual LSAT twice and scored in the top 1% both times; so he clearly knows what he's doing. And more importantly, he can teach it to you, as well. He's also funny and knows how to present the material in a way that's comprehensible and at times even fun! If Blueprint sold bracelets that said "WWJD" for "What Would Jay Do?" I'd buy one in hopes that if I got stuck on the actual exam, I'd look at it and his advice would rush to my aid. Facilities-- Parking is super easy and the bathrooms are okay, sometimes a little messy. The room is spacious and you'll have more than enough desk space. You're also nearby 3 Starbucks and I've even managed drive to one to get a coffee and get back all within the 15 minute break. There are other places to eat nearby, too. Pre-lesson bagels and post-practice-test Carl's Jr. were certainly traditions this summer! Conclusion-- I highly recommend Blueprint for anyone looking to get into a good law school and trying to improve their score. The course has all the resources you need to get the score you want. While taking Blueprint's course isn't necessary to getting a good score, in my case it's definitely been sufficient! read more

I once thought that I could self-study without any guidance in preparation for this beast of an exam. Looking back, I wish I had taken Blueprint from the get-go. Because of the methods taught in this class and Jay's knowledge of the material/methods/everything LSAT related, my score rose dramatically to one that I would not have achieved had I not taken this class. Jay's great because he presents the material in an entertaining manner, and since this is a 4-hour class, it's important to stay engaged in the material. He's also in the running for the most interesting man in the world, so.. you won't get bored because you will actually enjoy learning the material! The way I first saw the LSAT compared to how I see it now is night and day. It's not as daunting as it used to be, and I (somewhat!!) enjoy logic games now. I know I would not have gotten to where I wanted to be without Jay's help! He's always willing to stay after class to help clear up any issues with the material, or just to talk and make sure your mental/physical health is in line. I have a lot of respect for Jay and sincerely appreciate the effort and time he puts into encouraging each and every one of his students. As for the Blueprint online account-- this is incredibly useful. Of course, do all your homework, take all your practice tests, and log your answers into your account and it gives you a score report + full breakdown of what question types you've missed, what you need to improve, and what you did well. There's video answers for probably 95% of the homework, in addition to audio recordings/written explanations for problems that don't have a video explanation. So, every single question in HW is covered with a nice, in-depth explanation so you can be confident in what you did wrong/how to fix your mistakes. ALSO-- there's so many extra problem sets on the online account.. at least 150 pages of pure problem sets that are not included in the homework. I didn't know what to expect when I first signed up for the summer LSAT prep class with Jay. I was completely surprised at how much I learned and enjoyed being in his class. I thought it would be long and tedious prepping where an instructor spiel just lecture us but it was completely different. Jay was a ball of energy that was so engrossed at what he was showing us that is was such a fun class to attend. I had the Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings class and believe me, it was hard to attend those with my schedule since I work full time and have a freelancing business on the side. Jay would be very attentive and always make himself available during and after classes. He would also call on us to read so made me always pay attention haha. I joined the Blueprint class late (by 4 classes) so I expected my brain to bleed -- a lot. Jay turned this expectation around. The smooth flow of his teaching techniques, his mastery of the material and his brilliant manner of breaking down often Martian English to elementary concepts were key to seeing progress in my practice exam scores. Four hours go by quickly. Never boring with those quirky examples. Even as I sit in church on Sundays, I tend to diagram in my head as the Pastor speaks. "No man who fears has been perfected in love..." (Thought process: oh yes, the "no-pedo!). This is perhaps indicative that I learn a lot in class. I did not have high expectations for myself having lived with a reading disability since birth, but with how my practice exam scores are (...slow...clap....) I am beyond pleased. And thankful. What could I say, this program works. And Jay facilitated this breakthrough. At least in my case. The online suite is genius. There are tons of materials to work on. I was quick to see my weaknesses through the homework and practice tests. And with the help of the customized tests, I managed to work on these specific areas. This past summer, lots of my friends went to Vegas. Others preferred taking advantage of beautiful Socal weather by doing nature-y things such as: hiking, camping, or going to the beach. I, however, spent it in various libraries throughout the city, deep between the stacks. Why, you may ask? It's because I was preparing for the LSAT. When I wasn't studying or having near nervous breakdowns (or crying), I was in Jay's classroom. The class meets two, sometimes three times a week for four hours session each time, making sure that I basically saw Jay more than I saw my boyfriend. This may sound grueling to some of you. However, the beauty of it is that the Blueprint method, coupled with the delightful way in which Jay makes everything just so damn easy to understand made things not as bad as it seems. He encourages you to ask questions, and he wants everyone to come to him if they want anything explained in detail. Although I have many positive remarks about Blueprint LSAT preparation, I'll try not to be verbose. The most concise and accurate thing I can say is that if you take a Blueprint course (especially with Jay) and do all the work that he asks of you, you will be very likely to improve more than you ever imagined you could. And you will probably have some fun during the course too, which is always a plus. About Jay: He is an excellent instructor not only because he has a comprehensive understanding of the LSAT, but he also is very proficient at conveying the information he knows to students. He is also able to make a dry subject like the LSAT entertaining most of the time, which makes 4 hour classes more than bearable. About me: I'm not brilliant, but I'm not stupid either. I just followed directions and did the work that Jay asked of me. Nothing more, nothing less. I was able to improve by over 20 points during the course of a couple in-class practice tests, and I'm sure that I would not be anywhere close to my target score of 170 if it were not for Blueprint. Going into the class, I was truthfully dreading spending 4 hours a night, twice a week in a classroom learning about the LSAT. But I ended up thoroughly enjoying the class due to Jay's positive attitude, entertaining anecdotes, and helpful strategies for being successful and accomplishing this difficult standardized test. The curriculum is extensive and extremely helpful for mastering the material. I walked into the first class not knowing a single thing about the LSAT and by the end, I felt comfortable and knowledgeable about every problem that the LSAT could throw at me on test day. This is a review SPECIFICALLY for Jay's Blueprint class in Newport. If you're looking at signing up for this current class, don't hesitate. Even if you miss the first couple of classes, it's worth it in order to gain comprehensive knowledge of the LSAT. The LSAT is a beast of a test; if you're considering self-studying just know that with Jay's instruction you'll be able to grasp the intricate concepts 100x faster than on your own. I self-studied for several weeks before the test. In Jay's class, we covered the same material I did in several weeks, within a couple lessons. With Jay, you get a great instructor, who demands effort from students, keeps track of every single individual's prowess (no small feat), and also tries his best to come up with multiple explanations to cater towards different types of learners. We even get pizza in class a couple times, and he sprinkles the lessons with humor in order to keep lessons relevant, and interesting. Sign up for Jay's class, you won't regret it! Even if you're considering picking up the class a couple lessons late, it would be worth it! At the end of the day, if you're even halfway serious about tackling the LSAT, know that you'll be well served in Jay's capable hands. For those of you concerned that this class is not catered towards individuals aiming for the highest scores possible (170+), know that it's entirely possible and entirely more probable that you'll be able to score in the highest percentiles after this test. I took the Blueprint course over the summer of 2015 in Irvine and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience -- especially with the instructor, Jay Donnell. Jay is extremely good at what he does and he makes himself available to all of his student. He explains complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand and he truly cares about your success. Blueprint offers extensive prep materials, which make studying outside of class incredibly productive. The folks at BP make it very difficult to run out of new material to use for practice. Each lesson is paired with homework, including audio, video or PDF explanations for every question. They also offer 10 extra practice exams on top of the 6 exams that are administered in class, all of which are real, previously-administered tests. The exams also include online explanations for every question. If you're planning to take the LSAT, I highly suggest taking the Blueprint course (with Jay, if possible). read more

Prior to thinking of applying to law school, I was attempting to go to dental school and even took the DAT. So going into this class it's safe to say I had no idea what to expect or any inkling of how to tackle any of the logical reasoning or games questions that were thrown at me on the first practice test prior to taking any lessons. However, from the time Jay walked in on Lesson 1 it's like a light shined down on my notebook and my mind was opened to a whole new way of thinking. He taught me how to look at a paragraph and turn it into mathematical diagram to help come to conclusions quickly and find its contrapositive (you'll learn what that is soon enough). He also made me more aware of how words matter, which is not only applicable to LSAT review but to law practice and just life in general. Jay definitely made the 4 hour class enjoyable with his wit and humor. Luckily being born in 88 allowed me to chuckle at references that flew over some of the 90s babies heads. Blueprint is pricey but so are the other LSAT prep classes like Score It Up! or Testmasters. That being said, does it do what it intends? I believe it does. For me personally, my score increased by about 10-11 points. Others that I know in the class improved as well. On a side note, I couldn't even tackle the logic games section before this class. My instructor was Jay and he was wonderful (I used my one free transfer to transfer from San Diego to Irvine due to moving). He pointed out certain things to remember for each type of question in both Logical Reasoning and Logic Games. I don't have much to say about reading comprehension, but that's because that was my best section of the LSAT. Aside from his teaching methods, the way he speaks engages the class and makes the 4 hour lessons bearable and even fun at times. Blueprint's curriculum is super effective! They've completely broken the LSAT down, making a difficult test possible to master. As long as you put the time in and utilize the methods, you'll see a score increase. Jay Donnel is an absolutely amazing instructor. He knows the LSAT backwards and forwards and he really takes the time to explain everything in depth. His analogies and examples when explaining a question/concept keep the vibe in the classroom light and fun, making a four-hour class go by very quick. After attempting to study for the LSAT on my own with Princeton Review and trying their online class, I made one of the best decision by taking a Blueprint class! With the Princeton Review I wasn't getting anywhere. Jay's class was beyond better than my expectation!! My score improved my 17 points and I am finally feeling ready and super confident for Monday's exam! Jay not only teaches but has so much passion in was what he does and how his students are doing! He is also immensely knowledgeable on everything LSAT and even has really great advice for applications, test taking strategies and life in general! The Blueprint course is a little pricier than some other LSAT prep courses, but it's a really great prep course and very worthwhile! They're always offering some type of discount for the classes or you can attend one of their events. Their online materials allow you to study and practice for the LSAT anytime. There's multiple practice tests you can take, questions with explanations, and instructor videos. I took the Irvine course with Ross and he was a great teacher! He really cared about his students and helping them improve their score. He created Powerpoints of the lessons, hosted office hours, provided us with LSAT/law school advice, and was overall very helpful with everything. read more

I can't recommend Blueprint enough. This course took a test that initially seemed impossible to me, and completely broke down every "impossible" task into easy manageable strategies guaranteed to help you conquer the LSAT. Applying for law school is a stressful and incredibly financially draining process. Blueprint does offer payment options to help alleviate some of the financial strains. For people who qualify for LSAC's fee waiver, Blueprint offers the course for 1/2 off the original price. Additionally, they allow you to make the payments in two installments a month apart from each other. I am a student that always did well in school, however the LSAT was like learning a completely new language. It was like nothing I had ever done before. I cavalierly thought that I'd be able to do well on the LSAT by self-studying and I was shattered when that failed. The LSAT is not a measure of your intelligence, rather it is a measure of how much time and money you are able to commit to studying for it. (don't forget that !!) I highly recommend taking this course. Having a teacher like Ross, clearly and calmly walk the class through LSAT strategies was invaluable. After the first couple weeks of class I saw the LSAT as a completely doable task. No one in my family is a lawyer and I am going through this process completley blind. However, having a teacher like Ross has made this process feel much more feasible to me. He not only coached us through the LSAT, but he also provided us tips on what we should be doing outside of class, promptly answered emails, and he always came early to class to answer questions and always stayed after class to address any and all of our doubts. I had took the Irvine class for November 2018 LSAT with instructor Ross Rinehart. I'll start by saying that this class was phenomenal by both the quality of instruction I've received as well as all the resources they offer ( every single past lsat question with explanations). I will say that I've been equipped with information that'd help me in this studious journey of mine. The LSAT accounts for about 75% of Weighing decision in ones admission to law school. Not to scare you... but this test isn't a joke. I can assure you that if you choose Blueprint LSAT as your prep option YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. I took Jay Donnell's section of the Blueprint course and I have no regrets. Jay is a very engaging instructor who cares a lot about his students. He is always willing to meet before and after to answer questions or comment on your concerns. He is brilliant when it comes to providing explanations to questions. I believe the main part of an LSAT instructors job is to provide explanations that allow you to understand the nuances and why one answer choice is correct. Jay excels at this important component of a live course. The Blueprint Curriculum is overall very good. It is very comparable to the Powerscore Bibles (I studied on my own with Powerscore after the Blueprint course to see if there was anything else I could add to my skill set; and found very small minor things), but Blueprint explains the various methods in a more understandable way. I have and would continue to recommend Blueprint LSAT Prep and especially Jay as an instructor. read more

I took a class with Ross Rinehart from May-July in Irvine, CA. He's really knowledgable about the LSAT as a whole and never leaves anyone hanging. Prior to every class, Ross sends out an email with the slides for that lesson so you never have to worry about not having a copy. It's also super easy to follow along with this. Ross is super funny and tries to lighten up the content on the LSAT, which is usually pretty boring and difficult. Despite the fact that class was three hours two times a week, Ross made the class fly by each night. A bonus about Blueprint is the amazing myBlueprint account that comes with the class. You can also renew your subscription after the class for $99 a month, which is super helpful. My favorite part is all the additional problems you can do, and the in depth explanations. It's a great place to drill on your weaknesses and get specific in depth practice for each LR question type, each type of reading comprehension passage, and each type of LG. Even though the LSAT might take some time to get good at, Blueprint makes it so that it's always accessible and even fun at times. read more

I took one of the summer courses recently in preparation for the October 2013 LSAT and am so glad I did. I attempted studying for the LSAT in the summer/fall of 2012 with a different prep test company did not end up taking the test. I did not feel prepared at all and that was reflective in my prep test scores. Knowing how important your LSAT score is in applying to law schools I opted to not take the test in 2012 and take a year off after graduation and attempt the whole process again a year later. I did A TON of research on several different prep courses before deciding to go with Blueprint. I knew I was looking for something different as the previous prep course did not work. I knew I had to make a better choice if I was going to invest so much money and time into a LSAT prep course again. And Blueprint was the better choice. If you are like me, I was comparing all the different prep courses and to be honest, what made me nervous about Blueprint was that it was the "newest." When I had narrowed it down to 3 prep courses, the fact that blueprint had been around for least amount of time in comparison to the other two made me apprehensive, but that is completely irrelevant. It's actually a temporal fallacy to think that because they have been around for less time that they know less or that because a company had been around longer amount of time, they do things better (take the class and you will soon know what I'm talking about.) My first prep course had been with a more "reputable" test company in the sense that they had been around longer, but I saw little to no score improvement. My score went up 12 points from my diagnostic test with Blueprint. The way they organize the material and how it is presented to you is far superior to what I had previously experienced. The caliber of the instructors was also noteworthy. My instructor at Blueprint took an interest in each student and wanted them to succeed, which in turn made me, and others, want to work and hard and improve as well. That environment was nonexistent at the other course. Going to law school is a very serious decision that requires a lot of time, energy, and money. I'll make one decision slightly easier for you by telling you taking a Blueprint prep course is the first step in the right direction if law school is your in your future goals. read more

Highly recommend taking this course! It definitely makes a huge difference if you're able to find an instructor who can teach the material in an engaging way. Seriously what Jay has is a gift, and he really does an awesome job of unpacking each lesson and method to help you understand how to conquer the LSAT beast. Not only is Jay a pretty hilarious and amazing LSAT instructor, but he goes above and beyond by always being available to answer any questions and provide support for any emotional freakouts that his students experience, whether its related to LSATs or law school applications. I spent the first 2 months checking all available LSAT prep courses and materials. I've checked Manhattan LSAT prep, 360 LSAT, TM and 7Sage. They were all fine, yet too detailed or too broad for my blood. I was looking for a course that 1. will keep me motivated 2. will cover the methodology behind it, one I can implement in time of stress and anxiousness (LSAT day) and 3. I will truly be able to comprehend, and make it a 2nd nature.
