Paid for a year subscription. Week later went four days no paper. Called each day, with no results. Waste of money.

I am 72 years old and like to read in print. This is the worst newspaper I have ever read. They have no sports section what so ever. Two days to get scores if then. No baseball coverage. Three useless Pages. The main section is half full page ads. Today no delivery. I wish Citizen-Times would return to area! Will cancel again soon and for the last time. Please let someone else have paper here in Hendersonville or quit so Asheville's paper can expand here. read more

there is no point to reporting delivery issues - nothing is resolved - you can't reach a person. I agree with the other review - accepting payment for services not delivered is theft. read more

I prepaid for a year of home delivery of the Hendersonville Times News. They have failed to deliver for 3 straight days now. I have registered complaints with their toll free number with no responses or results. Their customer service agents apparently are in India and have been no help at all. Charging my credit card and not delivering the paper is theft In my book. read more

If a negative rating was available, it would be used....here is why...My entire family and I became quite disappointed with the accuracy of your Blue Ridge Now article for the Roots Appalachian Bistro by Rebecca Walter (Feb2017). We all felt quite deceived by this article. After reading it, we went to Roots to celebrate a very important family affair. All 5 of us stated "That was the worst ever experienced", and we have over 225 years of 'culinary' experience amongst us! Honestly, we are quite flabergasted that your writer could write such an utterly ridiculously and false piece! Nothing based on fact. The funniest yet most insulting parts stated are: the "42 years of experience" (from where and in what - living or culinary!???); the whole goings on about "farm" and "wow factor" - wow is right - what a joke, honestly; and "old school" - apparently and quite obviously No School. The facts of the experience: Time to table - 20 minutes to clear and seat - time to order - 15 minutes - out of sweet potatoes - Onion soup was beef boullion! - tomatoes were store bought! - 65 minutes to serve food that Denny trainees do much better - seriously! Tempura on pickles was strange, and the was store bought (not even sliced correctly). Even when the owner was asked what he could do to help his far-off-base chefs and menu, he just poured more water as if that was some sort of special attention and service, completely ignoring any recognition of the shocking whole affair - his expression was the obvious "couldn't care less". Such an extreme disappointment. Our advice to all - do not waste your time or money, or that of others. The owners need to seriously start a new line of work - this on-going deception is hurtful to people. I have walked by several times since, and by the looks of the faces of customers inside and comments of those leaving, one can quickly see nothing has changed. read more
