This place is wonderful. The apartments are clean and well taken care of. Maintenance does a great job keeping the property looking beautiful. If you have an issue maintenance is there right away. Very pet friendly. VERY SAFE!!! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!!! read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I found the apartments to be cheap, unethical, insulting, condescending and very energy in-efficient! The wiring was faulty, so the maintenance dept went to fix it, they tracked attic insulation and their dirty boots all over my apartment, including my own master bedroom and closet just to invade my personal space, didn't even offer to clean it up. The nosiest staff ever, claims I "Moved-IN" my own sister and her dog, it was the Christmas holiday and I think they stayed a total of 3 nights during a visit...WTH. The office ladies are running a group of their own rules and cronies as their "Maintenance Dept", so they write up false violations, that they create with their own cheap trash service every night, for which they then put into your physical documentation file and use it as leverage to eject/evict anyone they don't personally like. I personally received a direct singled out Violation from the apartment complex, which was a VERY Vague Violation, upon returning from a vacation. Watch their Trash Service each night, there is trash litter all over the grounds, especially in the maintenance and fence areas. What a joke! Go ahead and push an eviction through while I and my attorney are out of town for business, I don't need that place and I haven't been living there as I had to seek another lease in December, due to the horrible environment that you have created! I cannot wait to present my counter-suit, pictures and expenses at the damages hearing! See you in court! :P read more

I LOVE my apartment. I HATE that I can hear every single footstep of the people living above me. I LOVE the pool and the dog park. I HATE that guests continue to park in resident parking and when we complain that we have to park far away from our apartment because residents can't follow guest parking rules nothing ever really gets done about it. As a new resident, I had high hopes for Bluestone. The staff was amazing and got my family into a unit quickly and easily. Unfortunately, we did not realize that the attached garage was a totally separate rent amount and we would have to pay over $100 extra PER MONTH for something that was attached to our unit. Would have made more sense to advertise this fact rather than conceal it until the last possible second. Still, we were happy with everything else so we proceeded. After a week, we sadly learned that a good night of sleep was not going to be possible. Our neighbors upstairs kept odd hours and we could hear everything. I've lived in downstairs units before and never dealt with this level of noise. This was the fault of both our neighbors (who were eventually evicted due to numerous violations) and shoddy construction. The floors creaked terribly and the walls were cracked near the ceiling. We were moved at no cost to a different unit which was better suited to our needs. I need to stress that the staff who assisted us was amazing. Unfortunately, the issues did not stop with the new unit. We have had a leaky backdoor that was broken when we moved in and has not been addressed in two years, even though we've put in requests for maintenance multiple times. The floors creak and snap, nails are beginning to pop up through the carpet, ceiling beams are showing, and the water turns brown and smells any time we have a decent amount of rain. The kicker was the increase in rent that is apparently an annual thing. Due to "market value increases," our rent goes up every year. While I suspect the increase is being used to fund the construction next door, their official excuse is that the community is high rated and has beautiful landscaping and community activities. It's shameful. I can't get my back door fixed, but I'm asked to pay even more a month to cover flowers? Please. I'm done wasting over a grand per month and am currently in the process of buying a home. This isn't a bad community but it is NOT worth the money. Knock $300 off everyone's rent and it'd be fine. read more

My girlfriend and I moved in here and absolutely fell in love. I mean the apartments are beautiful and the layouts are very unique. We weren't too fond of paying $500 dollars for our dogs to stay here when we were first told it would only be $300, however that's beside the point. But like all good things, it must come to an end, the love we felt was very short lived. The first of the headaches was the realization that there just isn't enough parking spots for you to always be parked close to your apartment. And the office may have the stickers for cars and say that they will tow away cars that are parked without proper tags, but I assure you that is false. It may not seem like too much of a big deal but it will surely frustrate you beyond what you may imagine when you start battling with your neighbors for parking spots. A few months went by and we adapted to parking in various spots around the complex, including at the office where the visitors are supposed to park. On one Friday evening I came home to find a letter from the office saying that I had 48 hours to validate the breed of my dogs or we would be evicted. I mean a Friday at 6:30pm I was to have papers turned in within 48 hours. Not too much of a time frame seeing how most veterinary clinics aren't always open on the weekends. I still had their adoption papers so I went to the office Saturday morning showing those papers and was told since it wasn't from an actual veterinary office that it didn't prove anything. Thankfully Banfield is open on Saturdays and I was able to give their accepted proof of breed of my dogs. But nonetheless it was another headache. Next on the journey is the glory of living in the downstairs apartment. I can't speak for every one of the downstairs apartments but in ours you can hear every step, every cough, every conversation, every thump thump thump imaginable, etc. If you like random loud noises, this one is for you. We called numerous times and complained about the noises that ran well into the night, being woken up at 2:30am, it was god awful. After five phone calls to the office it seemed that the noises through out the night had ended. Until the night that it sounded like Sasquatch, what me and my girlfriend had nicknamed this guy, sounded like he was coming through the ceiling. My girlfriend knocks on his door and asks that he please try to be considerate, that we've already complained numerous times. He responds with "it was for like 2 minutes so you can just relax and stop being immature". I came to the door and said it sounded like he was going to fall into our kitchen, then he proceeds to call me a mother fucker, and much more. The guy was a complete asshole. Anyway after a few more months he moved apartments, and my girlfriend and I were as happy as we were the day we moved in. Then maintenance had to go in and clean everything. So the 8 am wake up thumps started about a week later. The crew came in so loudly that my dogs were shaking every minute that they were above us. I couldn't watch a movie because I couldn't hear the tv it was so loud. Finally when they completed their job, silence again. What a relief, until they moved in a family with two small children and two dogs in that apartment. I'm not exactly sure who had the great idea of moving them in an upstairs apartment, but it's not exactly ideal, for them or us. But I am happy to announce that sleepless nights are back. I mean just last night I laid in bed until midnight before the noises stopped. The apartments themselves are great, they look beautiful, appliances are new, and I have no complaints with any of that. Management has been shaken up since we moved in, which there were complaints for days with the old Resident Services Manager, like our rent just randomly increased for no reason, but we handled that very quickly and showed her that she was wrong. So that's our story with Bluestone. It could definitely be better, also I suppose it could be worse. But take it for what it is, we cannot wait to get out of here. read more
