After a 30 minute ride north, we arrived at a narrow flow in the mangroves. We stayed there all day. There was absolutely no reason to move as the fishing was fantastic all day. We caught Snapper, Sheepshead, Jacks, Black Drums, Red Fish, Catfish, Lady Fish....all day long. The Mullet were under the boat all the time and although we did not hook any tarpon or Snook, they were there. Awesome trip. I will take my son with Capt.Ted soon.

It was like having a local family member taking you out for the day. Whatever we wanted to do he knew just where to go. We visited the sandbar, so we could say we did it. When it got busy we were ready to see wildlife and go snorkeling and Merv did not disappoint. We pointed out landmarks and other interesting facts as we trolled along. He was amazing from start to finish-- showed us so many areas and shared the history of pretty much everything we saw. We saw sharks, a sting ray, grouper fish, a ton of fish, barracuda's, and more! He was so amazing that he even brought stuff for us to snorkel with and has a great recommendation list on what to bring with you to make everything be as smooth as possible.
