Excellent imitation wood floor & great bathroom tiling. Windows open, but no screens, so didn't keep them open. Great ceiling fan, A/C, & tv. Excellent coffee maker & some supplies. Efficiency type room. The bed was ultra comfortable, the type that doesn't move at all when you turn. Won't disturb your partner. Great parking, one way road though, so it's funny when you're driving around outside the resort because it's one way inside. OOPS! Better to walk than drive inside the resort. Laundry room. Quality fun friendly guests. Zero complaints. Something on the wall was chirping, asking for a battery maybe, I emailed them, couldn't wait, found a maintenance worker, & she stopped it. Everyone was interesting & friendly. Vicky Bakery across the street was excellent. Beware of the highway, supersonic fast drivers outside of the resort. Turns into white noise at night. The rooms are near the entrance, while the 2story loft tiny houses are near the gulf water. I would love to return during the summer for water sports. read more

This is our third year staying here in our RV and we are already planning to come again next year. Our site is perfect for our 32 ft RV and our car. The beach area is clean and has several chaise lounges and chairs. There is a gas fire pit and a pavilion with plenty of tables and chairs for watching the gorgeous sunsets! We've met so many awesome people here and we look forward to seeing them again next year as well as the friendly and very welcoming staff! Also important- there are several excellent restaurants near here as well as a fantastic little coffee and breakfast cafe within walking distance. This was my second time staying at this property, and I am already planning my next trip. The property offers kayaks and bicycles for the guests to use free of charge. The sunsets are amazing, and we saw a ton of fish, plus manatees, dolphins and a stingray right at the dock. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the long term residents were amazing! Plenty to do and see within a short distance, and a lot of restaurants close by as well. read more

Best bang for our buck! My husband and I did a road trip from Oregon and Riptide was the cheapest place we can find without camping. Room is beach theme and very clean. They had their own mini beach. Overall, we save a few hundred staying here. If we ever come back to the keys for sure we'll be booking with them again! read more

The NEW UPDATED Riptide RV Resort and Marina is a fabulous place!! I truly wish they'd re-branded this spot after all of the updates they had been implemented. Frankly, I'd disregard all reviews written except for those written in the last calendar year. We stayed here for most of March 2018, all of the updates were coming together beautifully. We rented one of the fabulous cottages. Talk about comfort and style, all at a very reasonable price. Upon arrival we were greeted by a Manatee I kid you not! People were on the dock waving us over to join the excitement of a beautiful visitor, a huge Manatee. This was the start to a very positive, inviting greeting by some lovely renters at this park. Entering the cottage you are wowed by comfort and style. From the front porch to the towels , shampoo and soap in the luxurious bathroom it really doesn't get any better. We had a comfy bedroom with great storage space. Brand new Stainless Steel appliances, Keurig, pull out sofa and HD TV. Everything was there to make for a relaxing long time stay. The view is to die for. The sunsets are a wonderful event and make for a fantastic cocktail hour. The gathering area is comfortable and peaceful. Plenty of outdoor tables and chairs, chaise lounges artfully look over the water on a man made beach, Palm trees sway in the breeze as tranquil white party lights illuminate your evening. We have made a reservation to return for the month of March 2019 that's how impressed and satisfied we were. Is it a large place? No, nothing is really large on the keys. It's a convenient spot. From charter boats, dining, music or just relaxing everything is within a quick drive distance, this place is a fabulous Keys find. Then there's the brand new MOTEL!! Forget all of these old photos those are but a memory now. The entire thing has been refitted with updated everything! If I wanted to stay a few days I'd jump on one of the exquisite new motel rooms, talk about set up! A mini frig, coffee maker, micro wave makes for a great stay. Never mind the brand new beds furniture and lux bathroom... does it really get any better for a motel??? To recap, forget any reviews before 2017, actually before 2018! Fantastic new cottages, brand new motel, nice RV spots with space for your out door set up. Outdoor amenities that just keep going. Great management that really listens and takes care of any problem or request. Yes, I highly recommend this updated Resort. This is a very small but clean RV park. It has 39 sites with full hook ups and I think 6 motel rooms. I have to say that the manager, Milton is very accommodating and personable. I see bad ratings for only 1 bathroom. Wait a minute. There are 39 rigs out there. That means there are 39 more bathrooms. Use them. Getting into the sites can be challenging but very doable. I have a 37ft fifth wheel with a 2013 F350 dually. Very tight but no problem. Sites are fairly spacious. No matter what site your on, your really close to the covered dock. We were there every night to watch some of the most spectacular sunsets ever and visit with the other RV'rs. We would return to this RV park read more

I don't know even how to start describing how awful this place is! I read some reviews prior my booking, but figured that if we are only staying one night it will be fine! Big mistake! Please don't make the same mistake that I did! Eaten food, hairs, bad smell and dusty everywhere! We arrive at 3pm and the front desk was close, even when the site guarantee that it works till 5 pm. Our keys were left in a mural in front of the office with our name on it. Not the best welcome, and a little unsafe, but ok! We went to our room, there was a parking spot in front, which was nice. Inside the room our impressions just get worst than the welcome! The room had a good size, the bed was made, there was two windows, a chair, a tiny closet and a bathroom. The room had a horrible smell, a mix of garbage and chemical stuff. We need to let the door open for a few minutes prior entering. While we were waiting outside the room the couple next room told us they had the same problem! After a few minutes waiting outside we finally enter, and our disappointment increase a lot! First we found a half eaten candy over the TV (photo attached). It seems to be there for a while! Really disgusting! This should be our first clue to get out of this place! Everything inside the room was dirt! The sheets were so stained that is even hard to get the real color. The curtain has a lot on dusty on it, seems like it have never been clean (photo attached). With this kind of room it has no surprise that the bathroom has dirty also! The shower curtains was supposed to be white, but the lower has dark brown (photo attached). The sanitary seat was broken. Towels had hair on it! Of course not our hair! The whole place is filthy and disgusting! read more

Location is good - right on the water. Clean room. Reasonable price. Difficult to check in. We arrived shortly after 3:00. Couldn't find the office. Had to ask employee. Found it but noone was there. Our check in info and key were outside the door. Pinesol was so intense we had to air out the room. Small shower. No place to hang clothes. No thermostat control. No container for ice. No light by bed. Deadbolt lock didn't work. read more
