The place is very big and not crowded, but the food is terrible, The eggs were like a brick, they were supposed to be softly scrambled but hard and one lump on the plate. The American potatoes, were hard chucks of almost raw potatoes, the toast was ok but so much butter it dripped. The wait staff seemed like they don't want to be there either. Called in from New York City on a Saturday for a delivery order for 5 adults and 2 kids in Ionia. My niece was coming off surgery and family needed a break from taking care of meals and kids. Spoke to Jason and gave him a budget. He was able to come up with an order to feed everyone. Provided plenty of food and a variety of offerings. Delivered when requested and everyone was happy. I really like to visit local restaurants, but won't be going back to this one. I visited on Thursday, and they were having a Mexican combo special. I tried it, but noticed that one of the items had not been added to my plate. The food that was there was lukewarm and very greasy. I tried to locate the waitress but she was nowhere to be found. Two other employees were putting up Easter decorations, but would not stop at our table. Our meals were placed on our table, with no check back to see if everything was fine. After 25 minutes the waitress delivered a bill. I told her that an item was missing. She said "those were the little fried things" and I again told her that I didn't have any. She left, and came back with one on a plate and said "These" to which I again stated that I did not receive any. At this point it was ridiculous. She left again. We looked at the bill and it seemed much too small. When we walked up to the cash register to pay, my companion asked if it was correct. The same waitress looked at us like we had two heads and said "no, there were separate bills, that is only for one of you." I then reminded her that she had brought one bill. She walked back to a counter, picks up my bill and comes back to the register. Nothing removed, even though I didn't get part of the order. So, if you want bad service and mediocre food, this is the place for you. read more

Nice place for breakfast. Nothing special, but good food at decent prices. The waitstaff are very friendly, but sometimes overworked. Not slovenly by any means, just busy. My biggest complaint about the place is the large groups of regulars that just hang out and be loud. Could be worse. Could be little kids. None of the regulars seem to be under 60. read more

Eat here all the time and love it. It is a small town gem if you ask me. Nothing fancy just decent food friendly service and only a short walk away. I usually only stop in for breakfast and order their breakfast in a bowl which is absolutely delicious. I also know for a fact that their wet burritos are LARGE and tasty. Food is okay, sometimes skimpy. I ask for a large order of something, and I never get it, and when I ask about it they tell me "this is how we portion it". fine then don't charge me for a large. Wait staff is friendly for the most part. Only majorly annoying thing is the large group of regulars that come in and are loud as hell, and standing outside smoking and being loud at 5:30am. I can't believe what just happened. Went in for dinner with my husband. I ordered an omelet and a side of bacon. Waitress brought food. And went to set it down and flipped the bacon plate upside down and it broke into 3 pieces on the table with tiny chards of glass all over the table and one of the pieces of glass landed on my omelette. The waitress apologized and picked up the bacon and my omelette I thought ok no biggie she'll get me another. She came back 30 seconds later with the same omelette and the same bacon on a different plate!!!! I said you don't think there may be glass on that look at all these little pieces on the table she just left the food and walked away. Also she touched my bacon when she picked it up off the table and reserved it to me. I did find a small sliver of glass on my plate showed it to her. She just took it off the table and walked away.
